I was specifically looking for a houseplant and Calloway's didn't disappoint. I purchased a large Alocasia Regal Shield for $20; something that would have cost me much more in the midwest where I'm from. Spend a little time looking through the plants. If you do a quick glance, you might miss something. I did my first couple of trips around the department. Finally decided on a plant and a pot and we were on our way. If you love houseplants and want to shop local, definitely check-out Calloway's. They offer much, much more - from yard decor to merchandise for major landscaping upgrades/renovations. Friendly customer service, fair prices, and complimentary bottled water while you shop. 4/5 stars because some of the plants just needed to be dumped, or at least deeply discounted because of their condition. Recommend.

It was really windy and many trees tipped over blocking the paths. I couldn't find what I was looking When I checked the tags on a couple I thought might be related many had no prices attached. I mentioned it to the cashier she denied what I saw. Strike 2. I also checked the price on their moss roses. $2.49 there and $1.49 everywhere else. Since I needed better service I went over to Moon's Nursery on Coit in Frisco. What a difference! Incredible customer service from Frantz Xantus. Really disappointed in Calloway's.

The science of soil is key to a healthy landscape and working with Living Earth Technologies is one of the bright spots with my business. We are fortunate to work with Kurt, Mark, Matt, and Carlos. They are patient and they will take the time to diagnosis the issues and their helpful with loading and off-loading products. I have worked with Living Earth Technologies throughout the state and we couldn't say enough about our appreciation for this company and their exceptional team. Chris Alston LocalFlora.com

We ordered A LOT (25 cubic yards) of compost for our property. When we went to use it, we realized the compost was nowhere near finished, and it hadn't been screened even once. Our compost was filled with large leaves, big sticks/twigs, and trash. At first, I really thought they accidentally gave us mulch. This is compost that's advertised as being ideal for top dressing lawns. I tried reaching out to Living Earth to come to a resolution, and I received no response despite multiple attempts. We'll be needing large amounts of compost at least 2x/year for lawn maintenance, and we'll certainly be getting it elsewhere moving forward.
