Friendly atmosphere, however, the restaurant can be very loud. Great selection of craft beers on draft. I had a burger, asked for a medium, and it came out rare plus to barely medium rare. Based upon my experience today I have no idea how this place is rated 4.5 stars in the app. Abbas (sp) was my server and he got my drink order wrong, which was water with lemon. Prior to him bringing my drink I saw him joking around with other staff and my drink did not have a lemon. No big deal. I ordered my meal, French onion soup, motor city kettle chips, and mushroom Swiss burger with sweet potato tots. I asked for my meal to be spread out and come one item at a time. I was assured it would come that way. It did not!!! The soup and kettle chips came together. Had to wait on eating the soup as it did not come with a spoon. Good thing, the soup didn't taste good at all. Less than 5 minutes later I got my burger. It came with regular tater tots and not sweet potato. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. When I picked up the burger it was in a puddle of juice making it difficult to pick up and eat. The biggest positive of the meal was that the server came back later on and told me he had the manager take the soup off the check as it did not come out separately. read more

Really great experience here! We were visiting the Ford factory tour and were starving afterwards. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was fun for car enthusiasts. Once seated the drink service was pretty quick, but it took a bit for our food to come. The Montecristo sandwich was phenomenal. The tots were tasty. I would not recommend the peach cobbler. It liked better than it tasted. And while it is served in a skillet, it was not very hot. They use biscuits or rolls for the crust and that was not a great idea. There is still a lot of potential on the menu and I would be willing to try other things. I also would not get the Cruisin' Colada again. Maybe a regular Piña Colada. My husband tried the jiffy burger and enjoyed it with a side of jelly (severs recommendation!). There is a wide variety of sandwiches and burgers on the menu and a few appetizers that looked intriguing. I went with a burger and the hubby a brisket sandwich. We were waited on by a very friendly Kelly and promptly and offered drinks. My iced tea was very good. The wait for food once ordered was about 20 min. There were several screens with sporting events and looking at the Ford and car items around the restaurant filled the time. Visit the rest rooms to see the sinks! We gave our food a solid 3/5 as the burger was tad greasy and the brisket sandwich could have been warmer. If we return we'd try something else off the menu. read more

My wife and I dined at FG a couple of days ago and came away disappointed. Our intention was to have the Ribeye steak and we found it was removed from the menu. We wound up ordering the sirloin steak and it fell short in many ways. First off both steaks were cooked correctly and the seasoning on the steaks was good. However the meat had no taste, it was tough to cut with the knives provided, and it was chewy. Huge place with a huge reputation. Loved the burger selection. It took about 20 minutes for our food to arrive at the table. Everybody enjoyed their meal. Every bite tasted great. The only thing I will say is that I asked for my burger cooked medium well, but it was well done. Luckily it's wasn't dry or chewy, but instead very moist and tasty.
