I dont like smoked food and their wings were amazing. I didnt actually love the smoked flavor but thats a me problem. They were cooked perfectly both inside and out and the dry rub was perfect. Will come back again. read more

This is the best BBQ joint in Tucker hands down. First, the environment is laid back and the patio is really good and dog friendly. They smoke the meat in house and every menu rotation has been awesome. Top Picks: -brisket -chorizo -pork belly They added birria tacos to the menu recently and they are a 10/10. They cole slaw is absolutely stellar and I do not like cole slaw... vinegar based, finely chopped...its bomb. The service staff has been very friendly, with a particular shout out to Megan, who makes us feel like we are eating at our neighbors back yard. love it. Honestly I am going back in right now, that's how good it is read more

Starter wise, we got the street corn and the queso & chips. Let me tell you the street corn was my favorite. I definitely order another one because it's just too good to share. Entree, he got the Smoked Turkey with collard greens and fries. I had the street tacos and queso Mac & cheese. The Mac & Cheese was definitely creamy and delicious. read more

Didn't get to try. Cool atmosphere, nice male bartender ... stepped out to see if I could tolerate heat could not. Washed hands , but couldn't dry because the dispenser was hanging by one side and not dispensing. I told the female bartender, "I think I broke your paper towel dispenser -kidding" , she just shooed me and waved my comment away. Lol . Sat at end of bar ... I asked if they have smoked chicken wings... (that's what I came for)... She says " We're out of Chicken wings, Ribs, and Turkey"... but guy says they might be almost ready let me go check. I love when people do that. I do that in my profession. He said wings should be ready in about 20 minutes. How nice of him. Honestly. So I looked at menu asked a couple questions with girl, thinking if I was going to wait. I decided to order a Mexican street corn , but it wasn't like the Mexican corn I've had. It was dry, burnt, twangy, cojita cheese on the top, not coated. I asked for more butter, she said it's not butter it's this, and tosses a plastic cup of white sauce in front of me. I looked on menu and saw that it was an aioli. It tasted straight out of a bottle unfortunately. I asked could I just have some butter, she said " I don't think we have any". Either you do- or you don't . Anyway she was right she brought me some margarine. I just requested my check. Dang. read more

The food can be good when it's in stock. How Weber the service lately has plummeted in quality and courteousness. I've been waiting for 30 min to place and receive my Togo order only to find out after all this time they don't have what I ordered. In the meantime I've seen the host give tremendous attitude towards other patrons which is disappointing. I've asked for my money to be refunded since the food was not available and I'm still waiting for the refund as there is no sense or urgency even after all this time. read more

Food was terrible. Worse mac n cheese I've ever had. Noodles were hard and it was a greasy mess. The brisket was super fatty and mostly inedible. First and last time eating here. read more

awesome awesome awesome great patio too! best smoke..... great service. dog friendly patio. read more

worst on-line experience ever, the system lets you create the order, accepts the order, takes your money, then they call and tell you that you can't order what you did, and that you shouldn't use the on-line ordering system because it doesn't really work. Ridiculous. read more

We enjoyed our meal here. Perfect BBQ, fantastic sides, we had creamed corn, hand breaded okra, meat packed Brunswick stew and curly fries. Cocktails on point. Downside- slow service-don't think they have enough help. read more

Ordered a beer, out of it... Ordered a sandwich... Out of it ....ordered curly fries,... Out of that also, I ordered another side... Out of that. However they did manage to charge me full price for my beer that I did not want after being out of everything. Just save your time and go elsewhere. " delivery truck hasn't arrived"... btw, It's a Monday at 3:30... it's not like I can during a rush. read more

Finally, nearly real texas BBQ in Atlanta! I'm talking brisket people. A lot of places make it and most places do it wrong. This place comes the closest I have found to Austin, TX BBQ. All hail the pink smoke ring. That's the holy grail of brisket. No oven time. None of this bragging about 7 Hours. It takes 12-14 or more, off the flame, and rubbed. No sauce is needed! Thank you Ford's for coming close. Can't go five stars because even filling stations in Austin are better than every BBQ place in Georgia. Consider the 4-stars to be an honor. read more

As if the food and service weren't reason enough to go, a nice frosty beverage on the awesome dog friendly patio would be. Great family friendly restaurant with fabulous bbq and attentive staff. And don't forget the Mac-n-cheese!!! Yum! read more

I got here at 7:10. Because I had a dog with me, I had to stop inside and tell them that I wanted to eat outside. I waited 15 minutes at the check-in desk before somebody finally came. She gave me a menu and walked around inside. I walked around outside and sat down on the patio. I then waited for over 20 minutes for someone to come and take my order and finally got up and asked one of the waitresses if somebody could take my order. She said she would talk to her manager and came back a few minutes later and said somebody will come out in a few minutes. I waited another 10 or 15 minutes before somebody took my order. the first two things that I asked for were not available so I settled for brisket sandwich.. I asked for it to be lean. When I got it, I spent probably 10 minutes cutting fat off of it and ended up with about half the meat that was on the plate. The food was OK but the service was absolutely ridiculous. By the way, next to me was a table of eight people who also had waited about a half an hour for somebody to come to the table. They finally got up and left the restaurant. When I told the waitress that since nobody had come out, they lost eight customers and she said oh well. Guess they don't care. read more

Tried Ford's last night for the first time. Our overall experience was quite good; liked the food, atmosphere and service. One complaint: The meat portions are too small for the prices charged. read more

Waited for at least 13 minutes (yes, after 5 mins with no wait and "your waitress will be with you in a second" and the entire staff standing by the kitchen talking... I started counting) got up and left, and not a soul that worked there would have noticed had I not said something on the way out. We are from out of town and had looked forward to it. Glad their neighbors are a lot more hospitable!! read more

Terrible. Sauce was watery and not good. BBQ was fatty. Brisket was dry. I returned mine and they still tried to charge me. No chicken on the menu. No biscuits or cornbread. read more

Disappointed with takeout order. There were two items missing from order when we got home. When I called to let them know, lady employee did not apologize. Felt like portion size too small for price. They were out of ribs when we ordered as well. We will not be coming back. read more

I live in Stone Mountain and was hoping to find a fantastic Bbq restaurant close to home. Unfortunately, Ford's Bbq is mediocre at best. I ordered 1/2 slab of ribs and a small Mac & Queso. Almost cost $20.00, and tasted like something made at the grocery store. The ribs were thin , did not fall off the bone, and the sauce was ok. The Mac and cheese was nothing special! Does Ford's claim to have award winning ribs? No they don't. However their prices are way too high for the quality of bbq they sell. Too bad! read more

I really want to like this place. However, after visiting on a couple different occasions several months apart, it appears that this isn't going to happen. I came here tonight for the second time with my family. We had to ask three times to get a high chair and at least a couple times for crayons and a coloring sheet. When we tried to order food from the menu (side items, not meats), we were told that two separate items weren't available. This also happened the first time we visited. Quite a long wait for the food; the server told us that the delay was because they were slammed with to-go orders. The food is good (other than the mac and cheese), so I will give it three stars. That's being pretty generous. 2 1/2 stars is more accurate. Not particularly family-friendly or well managed. I probably won't be dining here again anytime soon. read more

Loved my experience here. Had the brisket and loved the cornbread waffle. The staff was extremely friendly. Our server Stephanie was super helpful and was a delight. Definitely coming back. read more

I've been here on a couple of occasions and have been satisfied with the food and service. The Brunswick stew is very good. And the nachos are the best all around. read more

We got takeout from Ford's. I have to say that during the pandemic we are trying to support local businesses, but have stopped going to certain restaurants because our order was missing items, or the Covid safety measures were lacking when we went to pick up. That is not the case at Ford's. My son picked up the order and reported back that all staff members we wearing their mask CORRECTLY! This is a big one for me because if you wear your mask under your nose, don't even bother. We got a pound of brisket and some sides. The brisket was delicious. We asked to try both sauces (a spicy mustard and a more traditional one). Both sauces were great and I appreciated them remembering to include both. Our sides were: curly fries, Mac and cheese and baked beans, all good. We will definitely return. read more

Went to Ford's for the first time tonight (Sunday). Loved the atmosphere and throwback country music playing in the background. Staff was wearing masks and we sat at the high top table in the middle of the restaurant. The bar was packed and all the tables were full. Maybe it's a challenge for start up restaurants, but I was disappointed that they were out of a lot of their menu items, e.g., collard greens, curly fries, fried okra, Mac-n-cheese and brisket. The pulled pork plate was decent (more fat than I prefer), but my wife's was fine. Sweet tea was comparable to that of Chik-fil-A's and their beer/whiskey selection not bad. I also had the corn casserole and green beans. Both delicious. Will definitely return to taste their brisket and greens. read more

The restaurant is a cute, modern cozy little spot in an equally cute town plaza in Tucker. The food was good, the service was also good. Also has a nice, seemingly stocked bar. Overall I would recommend. Always happy to support small business, especially right now. read more

I have eaten here numerous times as a vegetarian and it's been delicious. Highly recommend the Cubano. Also want to give a shout out to Lou on the waist staff. Ford's BBQ - Brisket Sandwich - Barbeque Near Me - Tucker, Georgia

We ate at ford barbecue today and the food was sub par at best! The barbecue was not good and the sides were worse. The problem with the sides is they put too much in them. The Brunswick stew. Was horrible! The green beans were not eatable! Then I asked the waiter if the banana pudding was homemade, he said yes! It was horrible and not homemade! I will never go there again not would I recommend it read more

The pulled pork sandwich is amazing. Great vinegar coleslaw and Brunswick stew also amazing. Nice atmosphere but prices a little high.

I have been to Ford's in the past and the food was great. I called in an order recently and the person who answer the phone and took the order was rude and short. After thinking about how I was treated, I decided that I wasn't going to spend my hard earned money where I am not respected or appreciated. I called back and cancelled the order. read more

What's the hype!! The food was ok I've had better for sure , but anyway I have to comment on the parking!! Amazing brisket!!! This is one of my favorites in Tucker. If you are in downtown Tucker, and want BBQ, this is a must!

Above and beyond. Superbly delicious. Super friendly and attentive staff & awesome environment!!

Best barbecue in the Tucker area. The waitress was patient attentive, helpful. The restaurant is clean. A bit too loud for an old lady but brisket outstanding I shall return. read more

Food is great. Service is not so great. I know we went on May 28th (a holiday weekend) but it was over fifteen minutes to get our waitstaff to take our drink and dinner orders. Drinks came late and the dinners soon after. For another orders I had to track the wait staff person to make the order. I know many places have a hard time keeping staff, but our waitstaff was just slow. read more

Terrible customer service. Sat down pretty quickly, waiter came over and named about 5 main things that they didn't have on the menu that day.
