What a great experience this was, with a great group of wine club members and customers there. The team at Rotie did an awesome job of welcoming us, and providing us with samples of the wine they were releasing for the spring. They complimented this with fresh made smash burgers that were really good. It paired quite well with the Northern Red Blend. We also attended the Seafood Boil event that evening at their processing facility, what a great event that was too! What a great setting, what a great staff, and what a great experience.

It's such a beautiful and unusual setting, with vineyards on one side and striking concrete structures and rocks on the other. The contrast is stark, yet the way everything is laid out is absolutely mesmerizing. The tasting room sits perched above the rocks and offers a stunning 360-degree view of the surroundings. The overall vibe is modern, airy, bright, and minimalist. Needless to say, I was just as smitten with the setting as I was with the wines. We happened to be the only party there at the time, so we were fortunate to receive a lot of attention and time from both sommeliers. We had a lovely conversation with them about wines, architecture, food, and all the different things to do in the area.It truly ended up being one of the best experiences in Walla Walla for both my husband and me. This was our first time (at least that I can remember) trying Rhône blends, and we were definitely in for a treat. Both of us loved learning more about the soil and the flavor profiles of the wines in the area and spent a wonderful few hours here before taking their recommendations to visit some of the other great wineries in town. Thank you to the whole team - you truly elevated our Walla Walla experience.

Waters was a stop for our group of 11 girls during our weekend winery tour. Upon arrival we noticed…read morewe were the only people there and the first thing the 2 employees did was look at their watch and say "we still have time until the next group comes", implying that we needed a reservation. When we asked if we needed one for the tasting the woman with the dark, short hair and glasses said no, so we didn't understand why we had an unwelcome greeting. Three from our group sat to the side and didn't do a tasting and the rest of us 8 did. They told us we were the first group to visit them in a week--seemed like she didn't want our business though? Before leaving the 8 of us were rapping up and 3 of us purchased a bottle each, prior to her saying "it's common courtesy that everyone purchases a bottle". This is very unfortunate because we really enjoyed their wines and would have purchased more but were put off by her preconceived notions of us. Five of us paid for our tastings and we haven't even left the building yet but she called out loudly "three of you haven't paid yet!". Um, yes we know we are going to pay, some of us were in the bathroom and the three that haven't paid yet were still sitting in front of her and one hadn't even finished her tasting. We wanted a little bit of education on their wines but she was condescending. The guy that was working there with her was engaging though. I do not recommend this tasting, but I do recommend their wines. This was the only winery out of 6 that we visited that made us feel that our presence was a burden. 1 star for the guy. 1 star for the wines.

The staff/owner, were incredibly friendly and made us feel truly welcome with her smile The ambience is modern and inviting perfect for enjoying a glass of wine. The restrooms were spotless and stylish, and a thoughtful touch was the dark chocolate in the women's restroom, which was a lovely surprise. I really enjoyed the overall tasting experience. The tasting menu included two reds and one white, all of which were excellent. The most surprising part came at the end, when we were ready to pay and the staff informed us that the tasting was complimentary. We were genuinely shocked and grateful, and we ended up purchasing two bottles.

I understand that it's a small, family-run business, but receiving multiple confirmations felt excessive and not quite the relaxed vibe one looks for while on vacation. That said, the property itself is gorgeous and the setting is beautiful both indoors and outdoors. We were seated outside, and the service was fantastic. Our sommelier was friendly, engaging, and made the experience enjoyable. She took the time to sit with on the parties and have a personal one on one chat .The wines themselves were excellent ,we even ended up buying a bottle. Overall, it was a lovely visit, but it's probably not a place I would prioritize returning to on a future trip.
