Honey Garlic Wings

Sometimes they make me happy, and sometimes they make me a little sad--but overall, they keep me coming back. The rasta pasta is really good and not spicy. It becomes perfectly creamy once you mix in the sauce from the bottom. I also love that you can choose just oxtail, just curry chicken, or whatever you're in the mood for--it definitely helps with my indecisiveness. Their desserts are great too; I just wish they'd have my cravings in stock when those cravings hit. But one thing I can always count on is freshness. Everything I order is consistently delicious.

Jerk Chicken

I'll start by saying food here is never bad and the drinks are always strong when i've been. This time around I had jerk chicken rasta pasta the chicken had good spice and the pasta was good. Service was also relatively quick. In terms of ambiance, I understand they've been here for years I do think they could use with an update to tables and seating arrangements.

Oxtails Roti

I ordered an oxtail roti and its by far the nastiest roti I have ever had in my life. It's packed with grease oozing out of every place you can imagine. I'm so disappointed in Footprints With this one.

Oil from oxtails

On 8/01/2025 I ordered Oxtail Rasta Pasta & Codfish cakes. The cod fish cakes weren't cooked completely also the oxtails weren't cooked down they were tough. Also the amount of oil in the platter was crazy smh not to mention the food got me sick I was throwing up 15 minutes after eating it. Never eating from this location again.

I drive all the way from Staten Island to get there food when I'm missing home. The oxtail flatbread is my favorite. The Caribbean soups are good as well! My son loves the Mac and cheese. We always stop by when we are in Brooklyn. Staff are friendly.

Rasta Pasta by Itself

Footprints always has good food. The service is just very poor. Had to flag down the waiter. They always have an attitude too.

I always forget to review my regular spots . I dont work far from here so about once a week we grab lunch here . The drinks are always good - be careful because you can definitely get alittle too tipsy here to return to work if you're not . The food is up and down . Some days it's absolutely delicious , others is simply your local caribbean restaurant. We're familiar faces so the service is always nice but in the beginning they were not as nice . I think its a New York caribbean thing to be rude . Anyway this day I decided to order the curry goat , I wanted to be exotic so I ordered rice and peas instead of white rice. Luckily it was a good day . The goat was tender and yummy ! If you've never been here , you must be living under a rock lol . They are known for their rasta pasta . I usually get the escovitch fish tenders with extra onions and carrots along with whatever else my stomach can hold lol . The food is good enough to visit weekly . Just not consistent . Here are a few pics

Drink Name: "Lay on me" for $15. This drink was so good. I recommend.

Food is amazing here and the drinks are too. This is my favorite location. Today (Sunday) it was pretty empty. So the service was fast and very quiet inside.

01/20/23: Due to issues at initial restaurant we ended up at footprints. It's been a minute since I've been physically. Upon arrival very busy, greeted warmly by the hostess, but we spotted a booth in the back and bingo we were seated. Our server came over introduced herself and we were ready to order. Drinks: rum punch.. it's not as red as it used to be it tastes a bit different but it was still yummy. You definitely tasted the Wray n Nephew. Appetizers Cod fish cakes: although yummy it was like 95% dough and a hint of salt fish Escovich wings: we were curious as escovich is synonymous with fish. But it was ok. Wings were good but it was basically the carrots and onions and peppers on atop the wings Mains Rasta Pasta with oxtail. I was hungry so I wasn't going to deviate from my norm. As usual pasta on point and oxtail was good it felt like it could be cooked a bit more not the fall off the bone I'm used to. Also ordered a side of bammy..steamed. It was ok, in the past it was amazing and I felt I had more than 3 pieces. We wanted the cheesecake for dessert but they were out. As they are having their weekend special for their 22 year anniversary two Rasta pasta dishes for $22 we took a set to go. All in all great dinner had by all. Their portions as large so 2 of us ended up with leftovers for home. Another good footprints meal. My friends ordered the Rasta pasta with king fish and shrimp and Cajun chicken n shrimp with rice and peas. All enjoyed meal.

We ordered one strawberry and one strawberry banana crêpe. They were filled with strawberries and bananas, and the outside was drizzled with glorious Nutella, which is a hazelnut chocolate sauce . The texture of the crêpes were absolutely perfect and that was the part I was most craving. I also loved the Nutella part. The banana and strawberry not so much as to me that didn't really have much of a taste, but maybe that was because the rest of it was super flavorful and over powered the fruit. All good and definitely satisfied my crêpe craving, but next time I would stop by to enjoy their desserts in person. The Kunafa looks particularly wonderful and has definitely peaked my curiosity.

Having a dessert spot in the neighborhood that is open late night and is serving flavors of our culture is nothing short of a dream come true. Not so great for my weight loss goals, though haha. Thank you, Moose. I came in here, and the place was absolutely buzzing, with groups of people enjoying their late night desserts- a testament to how much we needed this spot to just open and thrive and exist. I don't personally like cream Kenafa so I haven't really tried anything off their menu yet, but the Dubai chocolate crêpe is really calling out my name, and I am just going to bite the bullet and try it one of these days. I did go in to sample their Dubai chocolate. As a chocoholic, I am on a low-key search for the best Dubai chocolate bar in the city. This bar did not disappoint. The filling to chocolate ratio was perfect. However, I do feel that there is an over balance of crispy kanafa in the filling. I think it could use more pistachio cream and be a little on the runnier side. Can't wait to come back and try that crêpe. Until I am able to make that trip back, do stop in and enjoy a sweet treat in this cute little dessert shop. It's also Palestinian owned so you know you are supporting the right people and the right cause while satisfying that sweet tooth craving. What more could a customer ask for?

The ice cream is incredible--rich, flavorful, and tastes homemade. The mango is a standout, and the brownies are honestly next-level--warm, decadent, and just a step away from a perfect lava cake. They've also got amazing cakes (including a fantastic carrot cake) and a great selection of treats that keep you coming back. What really makes this place special, though, is the owner, Peter. He's always welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. He greets customers with a smile, takes the time to say hello, and creates an atmosphere that feels both personal and inviting. The staff deserves just as much praise--every single one of them is amazing: professional, friendly, funny, and kind. I've known many of them over time, and they consistently go above and beyond. Anyway, I was in Brooklyn with my brother to see a concert and had just finished dinner. We had some time before doors opened so we decided to grab a little ice cream before heading over to the venue. Farmacy was steps away - it all seemed like it was meant to be, so off we went. Farmacy aims to capture the nostalgia of an old fashioned soda shop and ice cream parlor. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by aesthetics - the tile, fixtures, and decor totally give off that vibe. There are a few tables to sit as well as a large bar area with stools; I also noticed a few tables set up outside as well. The traffic flow is set up so that you order first and then have it served to you after sitting. Browsing the menu, I noticed they have a selection of ice cream scoops, shakes, egg creams, specialty sodas, hot chocolates, and a large variety of sundae creations. Since we were there for ice cream, we decided to split a sundae -specifically the Sir Twix-a-Lot. This was chunks for shortcake tossed in caramel and topped with vanilla ice cream that was coated in a chocolate shell. Overall I thought the sundae was solid - but the combinations of textures weren't my favorite to be honest, mostly with how the shortcake played with the ice cream. It wasn't bad though - the flavors definitely gave the Twix aesthetic. My only other issue with the dish was that because chocolate shell was used, any residue at the bottom was hard so you have to chisel it if you want to savor any last spoonfuls; I guess that comes with the territory. Service was good - everyone was friendly. It wasn't too busy when we were there so we had our selection of seats and our ice cream was ready pretty quickly. Overall, I'm glad I finally tried Brooklyn Farmacy out - they have a large selection so I would definitely return when I'm in the area again.

Before the actual entrees even arrived, we were already fighting for survival against wave after wave of hummus, babganush, potatoes, pickled cabbage, olives, Israeli pickles, and endless fresh pita. At one point I'm pretty sure the pita basket respawned automatically like a video game. We also ordered the halloumi which was delicious, but absolutely unnecessary. That cheese showed up like an uninvited cousin to Thanksgiving dinner. Nobody needed it, but somehow we were still happy it came. The drinks at the bar were the real MVPs. Fruity, dangerous, and exactly what you want while staring dramatically out a rainy window pretending you're in an A24 film. The trout was excellent. My wife's steak was slightly over salted, which honestly just gave us an excuse to drink more cocktails. Overall, 10/10 experience. Come hungry, leave bloated, slightly tipsy, and emotionally attached to the pita basket.

Seating space (not a lot of it, so I imagine it can get packed on busy times) and bathrooms on premises. Hot chocolate was delicious. We got the spiced dark chocolate and the spices were overwhelming. Get dark chocolate without spices. The extra dollar for marshmallow made the chocolate even sweeter, so it was overwhelming and I wouldn't recommend. But. The extra dollar for whipped cream would be nice because the their homemade whipped cream isn't sweet, so it will just thicken up the drink and give you that extra texture oooomph that you'll appreciate. Torino cafe is basically coffee added to any hot chocolate of your choice. That was tasty with dark chocolate. You definitely tasted the coffee and it was less thick than regular hot chocolate (which was on a thinner, sippier side). You can sample ice cream to make your selection. It's all very sweet, so if you're looking for a less sweet option go with Belgian dark chocolate flavor. For a $18 banana split you get three scoops of ice cream and a caramelized banana. Not a big portion for such hefty price. The tiny addition of toppings didn't make this banana split come together into a cohesive dish. Would get something else next time. Definitely not a good deal. The not so young gentleman with a mustache who brought our order to the table was very dismissive and rude when we asked him to please bring us a correct order (he carried multiple orders and was harried to be done delivering them and barked something incoherent at us when we asked for help).
