My mom and I shared a unit with my sister but wanted to downsize, plus I was moving and taking my things out. Moving and now clearing out/moving stuff from one storage to another is never fun but the employees here are phenomenal and so helpful and welcoming and informative! First, we hadn't been in our storage in 5 years so the door was actually broken and we couldn't open it properly. Two maintenance gentlemen (one being Skylar) came and helped to get it adjusted so we could get into it that day but also called for it to be repaired and within that week which is what we needed. Whenever we went, we stopped by the front to get tokens for the Dollie's and came across Christie, who in each of our visits and interactions was just the sweetest and so helpful!! Both Christie and Skylar (who was now learning the front desk role) helped us to change our information over to the new unit. The site was giving Skylar issues but both of them were able to make light of the issues and apologized to us for waiting but we were totally fine! It felt like sitting with friends while we were working on getting all this paperwork completed. They never made us feel stupid or unwelcome and it truly meant so much to us! Thank you for everything Christie and Skylar and we will absolutely recommend this location to any friends looking to rent a storage unit. It will then increase to the "standard rate". Give it about 4-8 months and then it will increase nearly 29% due to "market conditions". For example, I will be Moving Out of the storage unit either the last weekend of this month or the first weekend next month. Here's what these storage units do... In either situation I still have to pay for the entire month of March even though the unit will be empty after I move out. According to their policy they do not pro rate. I don't know about anybody else but this sounds very much like a scam so that they can get more money. Lesson learned - read the fine print before signing anything!!

I had DJ equipment and collectables in tote boxes, stolen. I had two locks on my Unit. Both locks picked. They put the locks back on to make it look like nothing was broken into. These are professionals and I believe this is an inside job. How do you move into a unit and 3 weeks later your stuff is gone. I believe the guy at the front desk is in on it because he's the one that can see me hauling in equipment on the cameras. I would have wrote this review sooner but I was giving them time to do the right thing and go through the cameras to get some type of evidence to at least try to find the thieves. I gave them pics of the items to look out for. Its really easy to spot people hauling out jbl speakers in covers that say jbl on them and multiple flight cases that had lights and turntables. It's not something you just see every day. On the day I discovered my unit was broken into the guy at the front desk was not apologetic at all and the way he reacted makes be believe its an inside job. I had the cops come and the guy from the front desk came to the unit and put on sunglasses and gloves which was weird. He didn't have shades on in the office so why would he need to pout them on when talking to the cops? I contacted corporate and spoke to the regional manager she sounded like she wanted to get to the bottom of this and said 4 other units had break ins that month as well. I gave her all the info on missing items with pics and a time frame to look at cameras from the last time I was at the unit. I heard nothing back I contacted again and she said she was gonna check the cameras and that was a few weeks back and have heard nothing thats why I chose to give this review now. Its been over a month and I have no answers. This is ridiculous. I lost over 10k worth of items. Also my key broke off one of my locks when I tried to get in which should be proof they were tampering with the lock. the gates close at 9:45pm and you need a code to get in and out. INSIDE JOB!!!

Sheriff Deputy arrived and asked to see the video footage; he was told he'd need a warrant signed by a judge. Attorneys are being appointed as judges and they are busy with felony cases, petty theft crimes seem insignificant. The stolen items are a great loss, and all I have is a Report #. I don't know why the criminal is protected instead of a new customer. I'm posting so this doesn't happen to anyone else.
