Very unprofessional people in the office and insensitive Doctor. They make us wait for an hour or an hour and a half every time we have an appointment. I expressed my frustration last time and Dr. Worrel said that EENT are hard to come by but the office was not busy every time we come. They gave us an appointment for today March 27. When we came the office manager said they cancelled our appointment without letting us know because of our sentiment last time. My mother is a handicap so hard to prepare her for the appointment only to be told they cancelled us without prior notice. I'm filing a complain to the Medical Board of California for abuse/neglect of my 85 years old and handicap mother. read more

I've been here twice and waited over and 1.5 hours first time just over an hour second time with an appointment. The front desk staff doesn't know how to schedule or manage time. I've suffered with chronic sinus infections, noisy breathing, stuffy nose, sinus pressure, sinus headaches for most of my life. I saw an allergist that couldn't get my allergies under control so the symptoms persisted. I then started looking for an ENT after failed relief from an allergist. That's when I found Dr.Worrell. I am so grateful and thankful to him and his staff. Dr.Worrell listened to all of my complaints and took all necessary steps to ensure I would receive the best care that would improve my quality of life. He went out of his way to make sure I found a quality allergist to help me get my symptoms under control. He explained that the surgery he would perform would only help me breathe better and relieve the recurrent sinus infections. BUT it would not fix the cause of it all, which is my chronic allergies. He treats the entire person and cares tremendously for his patients. Surgery was only decided on after about 6 months of imaging and monitoring my response to antibiotics and other medications. He had to reduce the overall size of my turbinates, clear out my sinuses, open them up, and a minor Septoplasty. The recovery was bearable without any pain medication. And within 10 days post op I was breathing the best I ever have! The allergist referral to Dr.Gibbs was also a success, the new medication I'm on has me allergy symptom free. I feel young and energized again. I am forever grateful to Dr.Worrell and his kind staff for everything they have done for me. I feel like I have my life back! I will note, some appointments I did have to wait longer than I would've liked, but it was a small sacrifice for the care I would receive. Being patient and kind is the sort of person I want to be. And 95% of the time I'm rewarded with kindness and patience in return. His front office and back office staff have been nothing but kind to me. Veronica, the scheduler even went out of her way to help get me into surgery after a cancellation knowing how badly I needed relief. Dr Worrel has been my primary ENT Dr for about 3 years. I have suffered from allergies and chronic sinus congestion and sinus infections. He performed surgery on my sinuses about 4 months ago. Leading up to my surgery I had suffered with a chronic sinus infection for 5 months. Antibiotic therapy was no longer enough. Now being 4 months post op I am still infection free. Dr Worrel makes you feel comfortable at your office visit. He takes the time to answer questions. Before my surgery I brought in a list of questions that he took his time to answer and put me at ease and help me feel that we were going in the right direction. He also has a sense of humor, which I to have which makes the appointment more relaxed. The office staff is very helpful also and friendly which put you at ease. Liz worked deligently with my insurance to get me pre approved for my surgery. Karina is very helpful when assisting the Dr with in-office procedures that I have had. I went into the office to get an idea of what to do about my tonsil stones I have done a ton of research for the past 2 years when I realized tonsil stones is what I have. I read over and over that tonsil stone cause bad breath and sometime sore throats The doctor ended up telling I was completely wrong... and that tonsil stones are very common and almost 100% of cases don't cause bad breath... what?! So I ended up paying over $100 for him to do nothing about it. read more

Went here in hopes of finding something out. First day I paid because I currently have no health insurance. I was in there for like 5 minutes, paid, and he sent me for ultrasound of my neck. Got the ultrasound and paid for that. Ultrasound results were in. Once again I had to pay for him to tell me they saw nothing. My sinuses have been "full" for a couple months. Instead of finding me some treatment plan, he sends me home with a sinus rinse, which didn't do anything. I also still have a lump on my neck, but have no idea what it is or what's causing it. My sinuses are still inflamed. So, all in all, I paid a bunch of money that I can't afford to go here & get sent home no different than I came in. Do NOT go here. It is a waste of time. read more

Found Dr. Worrell on yelp after searching for weeks for an ENT for my teenage son close to our home. I must say that I was impressed from the moment we arrived. His staff is amazing, very polite and informative. A doctor like Dr. Worrell is rare nowadays. Normally drs rush through a visit but not Dr. Worrell, he sat and explained everything with detail and answered all our questions. I absolutely love Dr. Worrell and his entire staff! My 9 year old son has been suffering from sleep apnea. Dr. Worrell was quickly able to determine that his adenoids were enlarged and they would need to be surgically removed. What I think is important to mention is that he didn't jump to surgery as the solution right away without carefully considering what was best and safest for my son. When nasal drops didn't work he scoped my son to see the adenoids. This was my sons favorite part. He watched what Dr. Worrell could see on the TV and thought it was so cool. Once surgery was determined to be the best solution it was scheduled quickly and was all very convenient. We were treated wonderfully in the hospital and Dr. Worrell was extremely kind and has a great way with kids. After the surgery Dr. Worrell's office called twice over the weekend to check on my son. He is recovering so well it's like he never even had surgery! I highly recommend Dr. Worrell and his office for anyone in need of an honest and highly professional experience. read more

I had a very severe case of vertigo with clogged ears for days, ringing in the ears to where it would hurt and nausea. I had no idea why but I assumed it was from some kind of ear infection. I thought I'd check this place out because after all, it was right next door to a hospital. Place was a little outdated with a weird old mold smell to it but it didn't really bother me since I could barely walk anyways with this vertigo. So I go in and was seen by Dr. Worrel (however you spell it) He was friendly, I'll give you that, but it felt like he was rushing me a bit. Anyways, he looked into my ear and throat and said I am 100% fine. I asked him again all puzzled "are you sure I don't have an ear infection?" He smiled and giggled and said he wouldn't be a good ENT doctor if I did have an infection and he couldn't see it. He said people get vertigo for no apparent reason sometimes and sent me on my way with a prescription of sea sick pills to help the nausea! So of course I trusted him, paid $140 bucks (from what I remember since I had just canceled my health insurance prior my visit) and went home to rest. The next 2 days I ended up with a bad fever and my vertigo got extremely worse so I was rushed into an Urgent Care in Chino (place charges only $60 for all check ups and anti biotic are only $15!) The doctor there took one look into my ears and throat and said I had an infection and a fever of 104! I was so confused and explained to him that I had just seen an ENT specialist and paid $140 for about 15 minutes of his time. He shook his head and gave me the proper anti biotics and I immediately felt a lot better the next day. The doctor himself even called me twice within a week to make sure I was getting better and if I needed a refill on some pills he'd just give me some for free. That is what I call a real doctor who loves their job as helping people instead of just the money! I've never had vertigo before, I had no reason to just have it so an eat infection was the only explanation. I gave you guys 1 star because the female staff were actually really nice and actually called to follow up with me. Sorry, but I would never refer anyone to you guys or ever come back again. read more

Horrible. All they want is money, can't figure the problem, sent to ultrasound. Gave them a call and they wouldn't give me the results over the phone. I asked them if this visit requires a follow-up action and they wouldn't answer me. So I started to invoke HIPAA law on them, our call magically disconnected. It's about $150 w/o insurance for my examination. For someone without insurance, why would I have so much money to drop on this place. It's ridiculous, with that kind of money I would be able to pay for insurance. read more

I was diagnosed n treated very quickly, clean office and knowledgeable staff! Dr. Is straight up!

I came to Dr. Worrell since I could not breathe out of my nose. I ended up having polyps, a deviated septum, and abnormally large adenoids. I decided to have the balloon procedure done. It took 4 hours and it flew by. I hardly had any pain and the recovery time was less than 2 days with no swelling, bruising, or black eyes. After 6 years, I can finally breathe out my nose, smell again, and I stopped snoring. It was the best thing to happen to me and I wish I did it sooner. Dr. Worrell is the most patient doctor I've ever had who actually took the time to get to know me and really help me figure out what options were best for me. He is very calm and his number one concern was making me as comfortable as possible. The staff is just as amazing as him. Everyone is very friendly and they make you a feel like a priority. Was having a pain sensation that seemed to be behind my ear rather than inside like an earache would typically feel. I asked if I could stop by and see Dr. Worrell even though I did not have an appointment. They were able to get me in that same afternoon and the staff was very caring and make sure I felt as comfortable as I could be while waiting to see Dr. Worrell. Dr. Worrell was able to evaluate me and instruct me what to do and not to do to help relieve the pain that was coming from an inflamed jaw due to teeth grinding. I absolutely love Dr. Worrell and his staff! They are always there to help me. I was taking allergy meds and using nasal sprays to try and keep my nasal passages open enough that I could breath. I wasn't sleeping well at night and was ridiculously tired all day, everyday. I had a septoplasty done (among other things), surgery was great! I had a complication from the intubation and Dr. Worrell even got back to me on the weekend when I was freaking out about the pain!! (The pain was NOT due to the nasal surgery, that was extremely tolerable and very easy to deal with. My problem was from the anesthesiologist). I had no visible bruising, no swelling, no black eyes. I have also had my daughter see him. She was having recurring bouts with strep/sore throats. He knew right away that she had been treated with the a common antibiotic and knew it wasn't working. We tried a different one and she hadn't gotten sick again for quite some time. The doctor and the staff genuinely care about the patients well being! Dr. Worrell is a leader in his field and is well educated in and able to perform the newest technologies. If you want to actually get "fixed" and not just be "treated" then this is the place to be! However-YOU HAVE TO BE WILLING TO DO WHAT THE DOCTOR SAYS AND CONTINUE DOING IT IN ORDER TO STAY "FIXED!" read more

They charge $100 for removing wax in your ear. Is it common for ENT clinics? I did not know...maybe that was my fault. When I visited the clinic for the first time, doctor just said " let me remove the wax in your ear" Literally... it took 10 seconds. Then they charged $100. I don't have the best insurance, so I had to pay $48. (it does not include $20 copay). They are very nice and kind. Just remember...if you don't want to pay...say "No" when the doctor wants to do something. Ask how much is it first. read more

I walked in to Dr. Worrell's office completely miserable! I've always suffered from allergies. As a child I went from Dr to dr, and gradually got worse. A few years ago I went to a different ENT and had surgery. I felt fine for about a month and back I went with the nasal congestion and face hurting and being completely miserable. I was referred to Dr Worrell by my insurance. I hadn't dealt with him for to long before I had to have surgery again. I had a lot of nasal polyps, that i learned develop inside your nose if your allergies aren't taken care of properly. That's why i had so much congestion for all these years without relief. I had the surgery and dr Worrell and his staff always were friendly, professional and made me feel comfortable in their office. Dr. Lewit Worrell, M.D. saved my life. I came in after being referred to an ENT specialist by my campus doctor. The referral that they sent me to was somewhere else and they were booked up until April. I could not wait until April as my ear was throbbing with pain, after I had an ear infection and jammed wax into my ear canal, damaging the ear drum. I did my outside research and found the FOOTHILL ENT Care Specialist. Making an appointment was easy and the person on the phone was so professional and caring, which is what I really needed after going back in forth trying to find the right place. I came in to see Dr. Worrell he used a vacum-like tool that got the wax out for me. He then saw the infection and gave me these magical ear drops. I was guided to use these ear drops for (1) week. Upon using it the same day, right away I found comfort in the solution. My ear pain went away and my hearing was gradually coming back. Came for a follow-up with the DOC a week later, he said my ear should be just fine. I would like to thank FOOTHILL ENT for their professionalism and for being so helpful.
