Recently moved to area so need to replace the doc who installed ear tubes in my son's ears about 4 years ago. To this point, limited issues with tubes and occasional infections easily handled with Ofloxin. So, I make an appointment with Dr. Bachoura's office. The office process is old school (no electronic anything - fax) with most forms, not applicable to a 7 year old. Doctor was nice enough, but examined my son's ear in a way that hurt him. Doc also said he'd write a script when needed. Good enough since we hadn't had problems. Fast forward 3 weeks later. My son gets hit in the ear at swim practice (blood coming out) and gets an ear inflection. He actually cries when I tell him we have to see this doc again (and he's not a wimpy kid). Naturally, I call the doc's office and ask to see doc and get a prescription. I'm told that the doc is out for two weeks and the office can't fit me in with the covering doctor until 6 days later. AND, they won't have the covering doc write a prescription unless he can see him. They are basically booked up and I need to go to my primary care doc to handle the problem. VERY disappointed in my experience here. Not an acceptable way to handle an emergency situation. Wouldn't recommend for children at all. read more

This was the worst experience I ever had with a doctor appointment,first of all it was very difficult to get an appointment, if you are lucky enough then you'll get an appointment in 45 days and secondly the receptionist is too rude,as if she is paying for my visit From my experience,I would suggest anyone to stay away from this clinic read more

I certainly have to agree with the other Yelp users here. My philosophy is that a doctor is only as good as his staff one has to deal with. What a horrible practice to try to get an appointment with. I was experiencing oral pain and asked my regular doctor for 3 ENT referrals. By the way, this wasn't his first choice. When I called, I explained that I was in a lot of pain and needed to see a specialist soon. The lady's reply was, 'we won't have an appointment for 4-6 weeks". I further explained it was an emergency because I was leaving town. I wanted to be seen before it healed, so I could get a biopsy or scraping to see what it was. 'Sorry, you can't be seen". I ended up going to Urgent Care. Urgent Care's attitude was, 'You need to be seen by an ENT". Duh!! It was their opinion that I had an infection, so they prescribed an antibiotic and a steroid for swelling. I left on vacation. The issue got better, then worse. I called Bachoura's office from Kansas to explain what was going on and to schedule an appointment, even in a month. They wanted to know how I would pay. I explained I have PPO insurance, that they are in my Network and that I had already verified them. The lady said, " Sorry, we have to verify your insurance information ourselves, before we'll give you an appointment". I gave her my info, over and over, she couldn't get any of it right. The lady said she would call me back with an appointment. It's been a month. She never called. Fortunately, my mouth healed. I believe it was a side affect from a prescription. But I'll never know since I couldn't get an appointment or lab work.. THESE ARE COMPLETELY UNCARING PEOPLE. Well, I guess they care about money! I will avoid them in the future. Look at this reviews, it's makes sense why I also have complaints. My son (2 years old) urgently needs to see an ENT and was assigned to this doctor. It's the ONLY Doctor they had in their network to see my son. I told them how urgent it was for my son to see an ENT because he's had an ear infection for more than 2.5 months, he has had several fevers, has taken different antibiotics without results and is still showing symptoms of sickness. His primary doctor is unable to do anything at this point because it's out of her expertise. They refused to see my son for 2 months. I CANNOT believe that any doctor refuses to take 1 more patient in their schedule (especially considering they typically take 15-20 to see a kid). His case is clearly urgent. If I was able to go anywhere else I would!! I've called them twice and twice they refused. I told them this could result in hearing damage which they very well know but they didn't care. REGAL MEDICAL GROUP and this doctor should do society a favor and close their doors. They are failing at what they are supposed to be doing. read more

ONE HORRIBLE PLACE TO WORK WITH and I didn't even get into the office. This place is unprofessional and cannot keep their work coordinated. My 10 month old granddaughter had an appt today and was barely notified yesterday (after making the appt 3 weeks ago that the insurance was incorrect. Seriously who does that. I have been to the emergency room for my throat twice now. After the second time the ER staff recommended I see a specialist. While I was still in a lot of pain, I tried to make an appointment. This process took over 3 hours and involved the receptionist Gia yelling at me or putting me on hold. When I arrived at my appointment after finally getting "squeezed" in it was still at 2 hour wait before I was seen. Very impolite and unhelpful front desk staff. I've had 2 horrible experiences and we were referred there for my son who is a toddler. Especially the front desk clerk Bertha. She has the worst attitude to work with people. Don't ever go there if you are referred...you will regret it. My son has had tonsillitis for over a year now...seen the doctors at this office twice and is barely going to be seen by a real specialist. Meanwhile...my son suffers. I wish these people had a conscience...instead they take your money each time and make you wait 3 weeks to get an emergency appointment each time. read more

I wasn't happy with waiting especially since I was asked to come in an hour and half earlier than my appointment....I ended up waiting for that hour and a half. I will say that the receptionist was very professional and sympathetic. Instead of Dr. Bachoura I had Dr. Kalantar who was excellent. He took time to explain a procedure I needed and answered all my questions. He seemed very knowledgeable and competent. I would have given this office five stars if I wasn't made to wait 90 minutes. This office does not know how to honor appointments. First time i was there(i even went in 15 min early because i was a first timer) and they made me wait almost a full hour to see the doc. My second time there i had a 9:45 appointment, walked in 10 minutes early and signed in. 10:45 and im still sitting out there. He only had 2 patients there the whole time i was there, so its not like it was full. The conclusion i have come to is that this office does not know how to honor appointments, it's basically a walk in and wait office. And they have the nerve to hang a sign out there saying they charge people $5 for missing appointments. I missed a whole day of work and came to his office and HE was the one who missed our appointment. If anything he is the one who should be charged for not being able to honor his agreements. Both offices (San Dimas and Duarte) host the worst front desk staff in the Valley! My rating is (NEGATIVE 5) for the whole bunch of nincompoops. Don't be surprised if they sell you out to another Doctor. read more

Absolute worst, incompetent, and un-caring staff I've ever seen in a doctor's office. Doctor himself was ok but the staff is terrible. Couldn't get an answer about an xray, was just told they'd call me back and never did had to keep calling them. Then when I explained this was the only day I could take off to handle all the work they said could be handled they just couldn't have cared less. Awful, awful staff.
