I ended up walking out of the office today. First of all I was waiting for over an hour for my first appointment. The office was very non-chalant about this. I was not happy. What really made me back out was the dirty exam room. No thanks. Hope they decide to clean it, I did mention it to the recpetionist. See for yourself and don't waste your day dealing with these people. I'm glad I didn't decide to go any further with a procedure that I know is needed but can wait for the right doctor. Spoke with a lady named Kristy. Before even becoming an established patient, the level of poor customer service is beyond me. I called to schedule an appointment for my mother since she is having ear pain and clearly there is something going on because the ear is swollen and red. I was advised to see a family doctor first to be evaluated. When I asked the reasoning behind seeing a family doctor first versus their specialist, I was told because they are booking only in the beginning of September. How is this normal or fair? How do they expect patients to be seen and why go through unnecessary steps of seeing a family practitioner before a specialist. I had sudden hearing loss two weeks ago, called hoping to get an appt and they said they nothing for two weeks..so I made the appointment and saw my GP in the meantime. Finally my appointment day rolls around, I take time off work, drag my kids with me and check in. They say we don't see you on the calendar for today. I said what? I made an appointment when I called two weeks ago. The lady at the front desk said she called me that same day two weeks ago and that she talked with me and cancelled my appointment for today. I said you didn't talk to me because I never got a call. So now I'm getting upset...I need my ears checked. They said they the next available appointment is June 22nd...I said wait a minute someone cancels my appointment without my knowledge and now I can't be seen for over a month? She said well you can possibly wait here but we need to see all of our SCHEDULED patients for today first then we can see if we can see you. I can't take the afternoon off and have my kids just sit here the rest of the day. I said are you the office manager? She said yes I am. I said this is unacceptable! I took time off work to be here at my scheduled appointment. She said sorry nothing I can do. I am appalled at this treatment...I like Dr. Poopat but this office manager needs to go. I love this ENT. Our 3yr old has had ear issues and I felt like we were heard and our concerns were taken care of. Staff has always been friendly and accommodating. Only reason why I took off 2 stars is because their billing department needs to be upgraded to where we can pay online or be more accessible than mailing a check or having to call to make a payment . I was turned away to pay bc the billing department was closed at 3pm and the office can't tell you you're balance, they have to call the 3rd party billing department. So my dads got it down when it comes to surgeries. I call him bionic man as most of his major body parts are made of steal. So when he needed surgery in his ear to remove a cancerous lump it was nothing new to him but freaked me out. Dad recently moved from the south bay to the Ontario area so he needed to get new doctors for this surgery. He was lead to Natee Poopat. Dr. Poopat is a surgeon that specializes in ear, nose, throat, head and neck surgeries. He has his own practice that he shares with a plastic surgeon. Their office is located off of Foothill Blvd in Upland and is conveniently located 1 block in front of San Antonio Memorial Hospital. So dad had his surgery today and everything went smooth. About a few hours after he got home this evening his ear started bleeding really bad. So he paged and Dr. Poopat offered to come to my dads house to check him out. Dad felt bad about that so they meet in the middle at his office. This was all at 7:30pm this evening. After he cleaned and bandaged him up he also took time to explain to my dad about the procedure and how he finally decided was the best way to perform the surgery. He gave him some meds and ear drops and explained to him the deal to tide him over for the night. I know it's his job as a doctor to be there for his patients but he went above and beyond for my dad tonight. Out of all the doctors my dad has had operate on him he said that Dr Natee Poopat was only the second doctor that went out of his way to provide such personal service. Thank you Dr Poppat for taking care of my dad. I hope it doesn't, but if something ever goes wrong with your ears, nose, throat, head or neck check to see if Dr Natee Poopat is covered by your insurance and no matter where you live make the trek out to Upland. I had an appointment with them and I must admit, I confirmed with them the night before. On the day of appointment, I developed a fever with a possible case of a diverticulitis flare and instead of going to ENT group, I went to my primary doctor's office fearing a possible rupture which can be deadly (please look this up inept receptionist). I was in the hospital due to diverticulitis for 6 days in July and don't want to chance another hospitalization. I call at 2:08 with an appointment of 2:00pm to let them know what happened and to at least notify them as I believe they deserve the courtesy. I explain the situation that i am literally sitting in my primary doctor's office and she tells me i have already been marked a no show and that a $50 fee would apply to reschedule. Well, because of this, i am never going to use this office and mind you, i have PPO and can go anywhere. This is the kind of ineptitude of a certain employee that loses customers. The inability to have common sense and escalate to her manager or perhaps the doctor is beyond me. With these decision making skills, I wouldn't trust them one bit. They could have literally called my doctor to confirm my story and fix this easily. The funny part, my primary referred me over to this clinic. Just no common sense... I wish I took the receptionist's name but I have bigger issues. I do encourage someone to look up who this receptionist was and provide some proper coaching. read more

I feel that whatever I write in this review will appear as hyperbole, exaggeration, or overstatement, but it simply isn't. I went in to address a longstanding nose problem that affected my breathing for years. Dr. Poopat and his staff treated me, as the other reviews mention, like I was their only patient. Dr. Poopat then educated me on my nasal issues and gave me several options. I then opted to surgically fix my problem. The results are beyond any of my expectations. I almost got emotional after he removed my stents because I couldn't remember breathing so easily. I could easily keep writing, but suffice it to say, my only regret is not seeing Dr. Poopat sooner. read more

Dr. Natee Poopat did a great job on my two sons that were having blocked and painful ears. He gently flushed their ears out on the spot, got a bunch of excess wax out, giving them relief. Months later my husband was having ear pain due to excess wax buildup (seems it's a genetic thing), so he went in to the Dr. and got the same procedure done. He too was greatly relieved and happy with the doctors care. My boys ears should be problem free for at least 6 mo. to a year. We did have to wait awhile to get an appointment, but it was worth the wait. Dr. Natee Poopat leans toward the least invasive treatments, so I appreciate that about him. read more

Horrible front office. I waited 3 months for my appointment and when the day was finally here I went at what I thought was my time at 10am and I was incorrect. I tried to call 1st thing when the office opened at 9am to confirm and it went to voicemail 3 times. Dr. Poopat is flat-out just a great doctor. He takes the time to answer any and all questions that you may have, which is fantastic. He did great work on my sinus surgery last year, which has really reduced the frequency of my sinus infections. Also, he's great about follow up. Sometimes, his appointments run late, but that's because he takes the time go over stuff with ALL of his patients, explaining everything. I've never felt rushed to make room for his next patient, which is extremely important to me. read more

Just called his office after reading his reviews and Office manager was extremely rude and egocentric Refused to book appointment unless I had insurance information at hand so I told her just book it without insurance and she refused. As I called again to figure it out if I could talk to office manager I find out ( what a shocker) that this individual WAS the office manager My husband has a broken nose and probably will need reconstructive surgery and I was glad that I got to have a heads up what the office manager could have become in the future. He is very detailed and has a pleasant demeanor, and makes you feel very comfortable. I recently underwent a surgical procedure that Dr. Poopat performed and he was great. Super rude, couldn't care less about the people that come in, no consideration or communication. Also, the wait times are ridiculous. There is no value for anyone's time and the staff doesn't care that you've been there all day or that they are making a young child wait for hours. Review is strictly regarding the front office. Called in to make an appointment as a new patient based on the good reviews that Dr. Poopat had. Woman receptionist picked up and I was put on hold. Waited for about 3-4 minutes - which I didn't mind and is normal when calling doctor's offices. When the receptionist picked up again, they thought I was another patient. I told them no I am a new patient so they put me back on hold. Another 3-4 minutes pass. Finally the same lady picks up again and asked how she can help me. I again tell her I'm a new patient and would like to make an appointment. Guess what she does next?? You got it - puts me on hold again...for another 3 minutes!!!! I hung up the call at that point because if I have to wait more than 10 minutes to speak to the front office and get an appointment in, its just a bad omen on what is to happen in the future case I need to reach someone in the office. I read through some of the other reviews on here and all the negative ones seem to be regarding the front office. Bottom line - the doctor can be a great doctor, but if your front office doesn't have their stuff together and are rude to customers, you're going to lose my business. I hope others have better luck than I did. read more

The office has a big communication problem. When the doctor orders additional testings somewhere else, they never call you to let you know that the results are available. They will also never call you to inform you that they have obtained the authorization they requested for you. Staff is rude and don't care about the well being of their patients. read more

I have had ENT problems since I have been a child, I am now 62. Several years ago I moved back to the Rancho Cucamonga area from Arizona. I had a fantastic ENT Doctor that was the best of the best. In my 50's I was diagnosed with Lieukema. This meant any type of infection any where in my body pose a huge concern. After getting settled I came down with an ear ache. Just what I needed. Infections are hard to treat for me because there are only 1 or 2 antibiotics that I can take the rest including Pennicilin which would knock the ear infection out I am allergic to. I contacted my ENT Doctor in Las Vegas, which is the closest large city. To the area of Arizona. Long story short I ended having to have a pic line in and put on IV antibiotics. I was doing fine until the third day. I woke up with the feeling of my ear being on fire and one long and steady stream of drainage. By this time I had a fever of 104. I called for my son to call 911. I couldn't move my head felt like it was going to blow off. Well yes I ended up in the hospital with NO ENT Doctor, no Oncologists and no Primary care doctor. That's what I was in the process of doing when I got sick. The first Doctor I was seen by an infection control Doctor. He asks me extensively about being allergic to Penicillin. He decided to give it to me IV but I was gong to have a nurse waiting with an Epi Pen in case something happend. About an hour later this Doctor walked in and introduced himself as Dr. Poopat. He said that he was asked to consult on me. Right off the bat I loved him. I don't know what it is but I knew he was great. He took my history and asks the usual 1,000 questions. I guess it was the way that he presented himself that I liked. I didn't mind him asking the questions. Usually me being that sick with my head feeling like it was going to blow off I didn't mind. He examined me. And of course I jumped but he understood. With all the surgeries that I had had. My face completely ripped apart by neumerous sinus surgeries and the continual ear problems he said he would jump too. If there was ever a doctor in the world to have for an ENT it's Dr. Poopat. He is gentle, understanding, caring and another good quality is that he speaks the truth. He explains everything clearly so you understand. He will answer any questions you have. I have NEVER ever felt rushed or pushed out of his office. I hope everyone else has had this excellent service. He is worth every minute you have to wait for him. I have NEVER waited for more than ten minutes unless there is an emergency. I am giving Dr. Poopat 5 'S for he is the best!! Thank you Dr. Poopat for being the best and your staff too!! read more

My son had surgery at this office this morning. I have had nothing but a fantastic experience. From 3 months ago for first initial appointment and through the day of surgery. Dr Poopat and his staff is very friendly and knowledgable, from the office staff, nurses, and anesthesiologist. Sure, the waiting time was a little longer than said, but that just showed me he takes good care of his patients and does not rush anyone through.
