My whole family has been banking with foothill federal credit union and never have we experience such disappointing treatment and unprofessional from employees. i had placed my call on speaker so that my boss can help me with this situation that well honestly has been hard and complicated i'm still completely lost and well i needed help not to be denied help and to be discredited. i was treated so different i felt so little of my self and discriminated i have been a victim of identity theft as well as being hacked into my pc was being used to commit fraud on my account as well my physical mail was redirected and i wasn't receiving any mail. so when i became aware of the fraud activity i went in to the branch and josh was good at first and helpful till i told him that it happened on my debit card, my credit card, my husband debit card. from that point on he went to speak to another lady shes was siting toward the lobby and then stated that this is unlikely to happen and not possible to make sure that they are not valid charges and then the lady and him started messaging from there computer messages and they made me feel stupid as well as doubting in my honesty. there policy on printing transaction list was so ridiculous how was i going to tell them the transaction if there isn't a computer i can tell them or was i suppose to tell them off him telling me or off the top of my head. what sorry excuse of customer service they provide. so they charged me for my transaction for my checking account and master card when i was making a fuss of the charge the manager i think it was said with a smirk and her tone didn't help said i guess i could waive the fee and told josh we wont charge her. after i did my report josh said they will follow up with me and help me with the situation i was hoping and expecting better service and more compassion and understanding and helpfulness instead i got cindy coyle who was the complete opposite she was so direct and didn't care about anything she closed my checking account because with the first claim she made me feel so incompetent and stupid and she would yell at me because i don;t know how to handle this situation im only 29 i've never been in a situation like this she would tell me just answer my question yes no she didn't care about anything i have emails where i emailed the vendors of the fraud transaction and they said that the bank should help me and they do see where the address was changed last min for pickup where the vendors where like willing to help me but cindy wasn't. i had to lose a lot of money because come on would you call back to file the claim with this treatment i cried to my 2 kids telling them i had no money to buy them anything i cried to my parents explaining the situation when i finally got a chance to and the courage to face cindy she advise me that it was to late they cannot do anything because they can only do 60 day if i'm not mistake in the middle of all this i had no card i had no way of arriving to the bank before closing time so i had no account access not even online and over the phone when more fraudulent transaction happened then she decided to close my account only leaving my savings and mastercard and well oh well me she returned at least that claim and just before closing the account there was still a couple of fraud transfer and deposits were made no go figure they did refund me but still with an attitude as well i still have no card for my credit card and lesson learned never bank with foothill i lost more money then earning and saving money my whole family and brothers work company will be considering and changing there accounts to a different financial institute. now who will repair the hardship time my kids and i had to suffer because of 6 month of no money due to no access and horrible treatment and well cindy just washed her hands and said that's it where done ill email you and clicked. p.s im filing a ftc complaint and looking into filling a lawsuit read more

I just finished purchasing my Rav 4 Hybrid with New Cars Inc. This was such an easy process, especially during the Covid pandemic. I spoke with Leah Nelson on the phone and told her what I was looking for. She found the perfect car in just a few days. I picked up the car at my local Foothill Federal Credit Union. BEWARE of thieving coin sorting machine! I had collection of coins and since I want to convert them into more practical cash, I decided to use this branch's coin sorter. As a member, it was a free service which I think it's cool. I already manually sorted the coins into an exact amount which I expect I will receive (varies from pennies to Susan B. Anthony dollar coins which no one likes). I kind of enjoyed the process until I realized the machine short changed me! So I brought this to the attention of the teller, but she said that I have to wait until the company that service the sorter machine to pick up the coins and count them, and the floor manager said it will take about 2 to 3 weeks before the company will notify the branch of any extra amount. Fast forward 2 weeks after, I went to the branch and inquire about my missing dollars. The same teller said that the sorter company didn't report any discrepancy. This really pissed me off, especially because the same floor manager claimed that the discrepancy should have been reported by the sorter company A WEEK before. BS. So I insist to inquire about what happened to my money. The amount was small but that is not the point. The point is the STUPID machine stole my money. The floor manager was no help so I told the teller that I would like to speak to the supervisor or the manager. So the teller spoke to the manager and she gave me a courtesy credit to my account. No change in my star rating and consider it generous, because FFCU already bungled up my account several time, starting with my auto loan, automatic debit, and now this. You guys really need to get your acts together. I'm just waiting until my loan term completed then I will take my business somewhere else. You lost my trust. read more

I have been so happy to be part of this Credit Union for over 5 years. I have my bank checking/savings with Foothill and they provide trusted, friendly service. I also have used the car buying service New Cars, Inc. and able to get a low interest loan through the credit union. I completely recommend this!! I have done it twice already. Overall, I've had nothing but great experiences with this credit union. They make everything so easy. Recently I purchased a brand new car and I thought it was gonna be a stressful process but Leah made everything super easy. She looked for the car I wanted, talked back and forth with my insurance company, and had it delivered to the credit union within 4 days. If you do not have an account with this credit union, they make it EXTREMELY difficult to make a payment. They do not offer online bill payments, they only accept check payments over the phone (not debit card) Monday-Friday and even with that, I am never comfortable giving out my bank info to someone on the phone. They only other option is to go into a branch. Well, I moved 40 miles away and they have make it very difficult and do not care or work with me on bill pay. They're staff is rude and uninformed. Once I'm done with my loan, I will glad to never do business with them again. Do not recommend. read more

The girls here are all very nice. Doug no longer works here so stop asking. Doug apparently was a teller that worked here for a few years. I will admit he was good at what he did. He was fast and had good customer service. He moved on, and so should every customer! I have to give the tellers there credit for keeping a positive and upbeat attitude. I have literally heard old women ask if they are pregnant and then brush it off like that was not rude to ask when the girl is clearly not pregnant. I can't imagine what other social dignities are just completely ignored by the older clientele but either way, GOOD JOB Ladies! read more

Ask,Ask,Ask before taking out a mortgage loan with this Credit Union. Mortgage loans are serviced by PHH Mortgage in New Jersey via the Phillipines. Questions are rarely answered to any degree of satisfaction. To be clear my complaints are only with the loan department and the PHH. Banking side in Glendora is 5 stars. Do not trust them. I did a Heloc loan with them. 1) they tried to charge me for an insurance I already had. They failed to contact my agent to get added to the policy. i then took them 4 wks to reverse the charge, but they did not refund the interest. Now they have changed my interest rate by 2% points when I am supposed to be locked in for 2 years at the promo rate. They may give a higher rate on your savings, but I have never had banks do these things to me. STAY AWAY!! read more

I've been a memeber for over 45 years and and they have nothing but excellent service once I ordered checks and because of my work schedule I didn't have time to time pick them up, they went out of their way to take it to my work site, where do you find that kind of service, I was impressed. In my entire life I have always take loans from the credit union they offer the best interest rates even my home I trust on their experience, I don't believe in banks they are very dishonest and all they want is your money for their use, when I walk into a credit union I don't see anyone harassing me to open other accounts that at the end they still money from your accts. We're members here and at another credit union. The thing I've learned about credit unions is that they all have their own personalities. Our other credit union has much better rates and terms on loans, but doesn't offer checking or Saturday hours. Foothill Credit Union has friendlier people, Saturday hours, and more traditional banking services. Foothill also has a great summertime-savings plan for school employees that pays really good interest if you commit your money through payroll deduction until the summer. Since loan rates and terms are really important to me, I'm only giving Foothill 4 stars, but they're really pretty good, especially if you want a checking account and Saturday hours. read more

I can't say enough good things about Foothill. Their service is personal, robust, and would be well worth it even without their great rates. I started with them ten years ago because of a great rate they gave me on a "Summer Saver" account for teachers. Since then I have moved most of my regular banking to them. They know me when I come in, will bend over backwards to make me happy (often waiving fees as a courtesy for my loyalty), have phone/branch agents who are empowered to make decisions, and proactively reach out to me when they detect potential problems. Recently, they called me to verify that I had written a check where my signature looked funny. It looked that way because I was in a hurry to write it, and it was quick and easy to verify. (I also write very few checks so that might have also been a red flag.) I'm glad they're looking out for me!! I also love that their ATMs are envelope-less, and they even refund fees from other banks when I meet the account requirements. read more
