Charles Schwab has a hit and miss reputation as far as locations and services offered goes. None of the location in vegas was willing to sit down and help you form a financial plan for an existing account. This location however, went above and beyond to help and Kevin was amazing in his explanation and dumbing it down for the normal person. Appt went very smoothly and I was able to do what I wanted. The lady at the front desk I believe her name is Wei Choa shen took a copy of my driver license and never contact me or leave a note in my account said already verify me. Opened an investment account so that I could get their checking account. No fees or minimum balance!!! If you are traveling overseas and do not want to pay any ATM fees or transaction fees, open a Charles Schwab account. They refund you back all the fees so you can basically use your debit card anywhere!!! So awesome! They do not take cash deposits when you open the account so bring a check book. It was quick to open the account, parked and was in and out within 15 minutes. read more

I came here to make a deposit for my account. There were two ladies who were taking care of customers coming in. The one helping me was very friendly and really great with answering all my questions. I had quite a few so I really appreciated the time she took to answer all my questions and scenarios. Haha. I made my deposit and they gave me my receipt and I was on my way! This office caters to the Chinese community with bilingual paperwork as well as people who speak Chinese. Everyone I've seen here looks like they can assist in English and Chinese (I'm assuming) though I don't know if it's limited to Cantonese and/or Mandarin. The parking here is a bit troublesome as it can get very crowded because Din Tai Fung and JJ Bakery are also in the same shopping area. Tried to schedule an appointment by calling the number they posted on the door as they are closed due to Covid 19. My call was transferred to their customer service and they said someone will call me to schedule an appointment within 48 business hours. No one ever called. The people here were very nice, and they treated me very well. I opened up 2 new accounts, and the experience itself was 5 stars. Why am I only giving this location a 3? The rep that signed me up promised to call me and help me navigate through the process a bit--but he did not. I will figure it out on my own, but that was really disappointing. New customers need a bit of extra attention to make sure they know what is going on. As of now all I know is that I have thousands of dollars in two accounts, and a few envelopes I haven't opened yet on my desk from Charles Schwab. I thought I should give the office a high mark just to balance out the negative review by food S. One does not go to Schwab to inquire about IPOs. They are a discount broker. These receptionist speaks Chinese because the office is catered to Chinese speaking investors. If you don't speak Chinese then you should go to the Pasadena branch. I have been to this Schwab office for the last 9 years. The branch manager always is very friendly, competent , cooperative and follows up with every detail of the accounting documents. She always take time from her very hectic schedule, to clarify the details of my investment patiently and deligently. I feel very relaxed and comfortable to have her as my investment advisor. This is by far the most pathetic Charles Schwab branch I have ever visited. The receptionist just sat there and didn't even bother to see if I need something. I was going to inquire about an IPO but obviously she knows nothing about customer service. The sheer incompetence and lack of professionalism are sickening.
