The only reason why I'm leaving a 2 star is because the massage was good But when you leave a client on the table without telling them hey your done you can change now, had me wondering if she was coming back. She finally went in again and said we were done. Like thanks for telling me okay no biggie. I had gone with my sister and she arrived a bit earlier than me and had paid for our sessions. When I walked out of my session they basically demanded a tip. The lady was practically blocking the door and tried to see if we can tip her. Then she proceeded to call someone so she can tell us the same thing the lady adding on it's hard work and we should leave a tip if they did a good job. After she hung up the phone with her she still requested for us to tip by PayPal Zelle Venmo l, mind you still blocking the door. I will never be coming here again I understand that a tip is wanted I worked in customer service for many years and have not been tipped also but that doesn't mean I will demand one. A tip is optional and in this case by the way they behaved and treated us was a hell no! I hope they don't do this to all their clients: . Booked a massage over the phone at a designated time and when I went in I realised that they had no clue I was coming in. There are no options of which massage you can choose. There's a 30 minute, 60 minute and 90 minute massage but strangely there's a fixed 20 dollar tip regardless of which massage you choose. I took the 60 dollar 60 minute massage and was made to pay a tip upfront of 20 dollars. That is 33% of the massage price. The credit card fees of 3$ is to be borne by the customer. The massage was extremely ordinary, no therapeutic benefit whatsoever and at one point I was clueless about what the lady was intending to achieve. read more

I had a 90 minute massage today with Tina. She was great, and plenty strong. This place doesn't seem to have a webpage, so here's some additional info: They had a menu with massages in 4 different time increments. I paid $90 for the 90 minute. It was $60 for the 60 minute. There was a 30 minute and a longer one too. I didn't notice anything else offered, but they may. I asked if it's best to call in first or make an appointment. Her english isn't great, but from what I understood, you just show up. I still might call to play it safe. I couldn't tell how many people worked there. Have you ever noticed there are a lot of massage places in the Bay Area, especially the South Bay, but it is so hard to find a good, honest massage?! Well, look no further, THIS is the best place I have found! I have been going to Foothill Acupuncture for massages for almost two years now and I wonder what I did before finding this place?! May and Tina are fantastically skilled at what they do! They both have healing hands and are hard working and great at finding the problem areas and working out the knots. Lucy, the owner, speaks great English so if you need help explaining or giving directions to one of the girls she can easily do so. The facility is clean, the sheets and linens are clean and changed between every customer (you would be surprised how many places do not do this). The massage is very affordable and the atmosphere and location are tranquil. The masseurs are professional, skilled, and pleasant and they don't rush or try to short you on time. If you are looking for a legitimate, professional, fantastic therapeutic massage in a nice but casual, private and relaxing setting then this is the place. I go here almost every week to help with pain and it is the best place I have found. I highly recommend it! read more

I am an experienced CMT with chronic pain so trust me when I say these girls know what they're doing. I've seen them all three several times. None of the ladies watch the clock. Parking is ample. The studio is quiet. Linens / room / shower clean and tidy. Once in a while, they'll offer you hot tea and candy if they are not too busy. Love this place ! May has strong hands for her size and focuses on the typical trouble areas very well. Tina is a small frame gal with great deep tissue skills! She does not hit the bones / spine. Excellent work near the shoulders and neck. She does this back crawling / walking thing that decompresses the spine really well. Amy has more of a Swedish flow -- very relaxing ! She concentrates wherever you indicate without following too much of a pattern and applies more pressure upon request. Amy has the most relaxing fluid movements of them all IMO. Sweet smile too :) They do have one male named Ady whom I've not met, but I've been told his technique is most like Tina's. Lucy, the sweetheart answering the phone, usually greets you at the desk with a smile. She's engaging and nice. Her English is very decent, which is a plus if you need her to explain something to one of the other therapists. Overall, the massage is worth much more so make sure you tip them well. My shoulders and neck have been bothering me all week so I thought I'd treat myself to a relaxing 90 minute massage. Hopped on Yelp for an affordable spot and the reviews here were positive, if few. Thought I'd try it out. What a disaster! I'll just walk you through my experience: 1. Walked through the door. No one there. Called for service--petite woman walks out and asks for payment. Doesn't say how much or that she recognized my appointment, just asks for payment. 2. Granted, there is a language barrier. So I hand her my credit card after asking her to confirm my $60, 90min massage. She says there is a $3 charge for credit cards. Luckily, I have cash but I'm annoyed. What kind of place with $60 services expects to do business mostly in cash? Sketchy, to say the least. 3. She walks me to a room and leaves me in it without a word. 4. The masseuse comes in in a timely fashion. The massage itself is fine: she asked for "hard, medium or soft" and I say hard since I wanted to get my knots worked out and usually like very firm massages. 5. Masseuse proceeds to knead me quickly and brusquely, like a ball of dough at a busy pizza shop. It hurts a bit, but not bad enough I ask for less pressure and anyway I'm crossing my fingers she knows what she's doing and that it will feel therapeutic later. 6. I leave to pay. Since the overall experience thus far had been mediocre, I hand the initial woman manning the desk a 10% tip for the masseuse. 7. She tries to explain something in English and I am completely confused. So I tell her I know a little Mandarin and so she says in Chinese that the tip for an hour is $20, and that I had a 90 minute massage... 8. I'm flabbergasted. I ask her "so you're saying the $20 tip is mandatory?" and she says yes. 9. I hand over a $20 bill. 10. I leave, incensed with my body in pain and feeling like I'd gotten taken advantage of. In conclusion: THIS PLACE IS SKETCH. However, if you do decide to go, make sure you bring cash and work in an extra $20 mandatory tip--which, by the way I know is TOTALLY ILLEGAL because what kind of place REQUIRES a 50% tip?--but if you want escape without it being as antagonistic and awkward as my experience was, just go into it knowing these things up front. I went to Margaret for acupuncture therapy to treat lower back pain that I've had for years. I noticed a difference after just one appointment. She recommended a series of three appointments, which I completed. My pain was isolated to one side and after suffering with this very uncomfortable affliction for years, I'm now able to balance again in my yoga class and sit at my desk at work without pain, yay! it was my first time there. overall, nice experience. seems you have to be the "old" customer to get the extra service cuz when I asked for a HE, she just smiled and shaked her head.
