I came here for some Studio Ghibli magic and found a nice rack with cuteness. I also came looking for Sailor Moon items but only found one t-shirt. So the themed items come in waves of popularity, so if it is "off-season" for your favorite show or pop media, you may not find too many items. Still there is a lot of choose from packed in a really small space. Rent is high, so having a small space if usually ideal, but perhaps it has limited the amount of clothing available. In the past, Hot Topic had a lot more actual clothing, like retro dresses and fun sweaters, now that space has been downsized to a tiny spot on a back wall. I wish they would bring back more clothing. I also hear the company has trouble with licensing, which has led to a decrease in available products. Which is disappointing. Still, shopping here is fun. They have more than clothing, they have blind bags, fun candy, and still some unique finds. The individuals working here are always friendly, and usually go out of their way to assist you. I have always had wonderfully positive experiences. The sales are good too. If you shop smart you rarely have to pay full price and their clearance racks (usually located in the far back of the store) can get you some buy one get one free bargains. Always know your prices though, the register was not ringing up all of the sale items correctly, but the cashier was friendly and patient, and fixed the errors. We got socks buy two get one free, buy one T get one half off, $5 shorts, and $10 tanks, not too shabby! Time for me to stock up on the holiday gifts!!!

It's helpful to look at the purses in person because I was SO close to purchasing a name brand online but when I looked in person, I keep forgetting how heavy they are! I liked the brand Thatcher. It was half the price of the name brands and the material is water proof and soft. Very happy with my purchase!

The adult and kids clearance section in the back of the store is well worth a look see for a great discount. The service is always good! I went to the Ann Arbor DSW and the bag was on sale. So, I knew I was correct but didn't cause them any trouble because I'm a good person. Unfortunately, since the terrible customer service and respect for their own co-workers, I will never return. That was my first time at that location. Not very smart of them as their job in retail is ending as these kinds of stores are closing because everyone is shopping online. It's a pretty small and older Victoria's Secret store with a Pink store alongside it and they had some pretty good stuff, but nothing that Barbie was crazy about, so I didn't end up buying anything for her. Nevertheless, it's a nice addition to a mall that is not doing too well for itself and I'm a big fan of this mall. Barbie said: VS stands for Very Sexy, obviously! VS has great collections, like Pink and VSX and beauty. The Pink clothes are super cute. VSX has really stylish durable workout leggings and tops. VS makes awesome body sprays and lip glosses and bags. My favorite is their free tote bags. I always find something nice here.
