There's plenty of space inside to browse the racks, and the only restraint on possibilities is your imagination. The staff is helpful and stays out of your way, which is ideal. I do my best to pick up items that have fallen from their hangers, so as to save the workers a bend or two on their joints. After selecting a few items, you can pop next door and grab some ammo for another evening of defending your home from invaders; or simply tie-dye your new (used) shirt. The world's your oyster after a stop at this Salvation Army store.

I always get compliments on clothes and shoes from here. Torrid makes very well-fitting pants and jeans - They are my favorite store to shop for these! If you are a bigger girl, they know your body. Swim styles are figure conscious and beautiful. I get the feeling the designers aren't doing their time in the plus-size minor league until they can "advance" to smaller sizes. The clothes feel like the designers know what is flattering to larger sizes and have fun with fashion. For some styles online, they will model an item with THREE different size models so you have a pretty good idea of how it will look on you. Brilliant. You'll find cute wide sandals and boots for wide calves -hallelujah! - and of much better style and quality than other stores I've shopped for similar items. I tend to wear my shoes from here often. Really cute. Their footwear is all wide, but can also run inconsistently large. I usually need a half size smaller here than in other shoe stores, so make sure to check reviews if you should size down. If you order online IN STORE with the cashier they will exchange the order for a larger/smaller size if they don't fit right when they arrive. I think if you order clearance items on your own there are no exchanges, so that's a definite advantage of in-store shopping. Staff is kind and helpful. They will bring you sizes when you are trying on and really care about what you are looking to find and your experience. They get a limited number of some items in store... Certain cute items seem to sell out in middle sizes in-store quickly. If they don't have your size they will look online and combine the order w your in store purchase so you can get the best sale values. Online they have short and extra short for some pants, which is really nice. Prices can be a little high for quality on some items, but shop the promos and you'll do great. Here's a bonus: They have fans in each fitting room so you don't get hot! Wow, I really love you, Torrid. You keep that killer fashion up!!
