I came here for some Studio Ghibli magic and found a nice rack with cuteness. I also came looking for Sailor Moon items but only found one t-shirt. So the themed items come in waves of popularity, so if it is "off-season" for your favorite show or pop media, you may not find too many items. Still there is a lot of choose from packed in a really small space. Rent is high, so having a small space if usually ideal, but perhaps it has limited the amount of clothing available. In the past, Hot Topic had a lot more actual clothing, like retro dresses and fun sweaters, now that space has been downsized to a tiny spot on a back wall. I wish they would bring back more clothing. I also hear the company has trouble with licensing, which has led to a decrease in available products. Which is disappointing. Still, shopping here is fun. They have more than clothing, they have blind bags, fun candy, and still some unique finds. The individuals working here are always friendly, and usually go out of their way to assist you. I have always had wonderfully positive experiences. The sales are good too. If you shop smart you rarely have to pay full price and their clearance racks (usually located in the far back of the store) can get you some buy one get one free bargains. Always know your prices though, the register was not ringing up all of the sale items correctly, but the cashier was friendly and patient, and fixed the errors. We got socks buy two get one free, buy one T get one half off, $5 shorts, and $10 tanks, not too shabby! Time for me to stock up on the holiday gifts!!!

They have a lot of nice items that are casual and some dressier styles. When the store first opened the Farmington media marketed it as a " teen boutique" so I'm glad that I actually stopped in and they have a lot more styles. The only recommendation I have is that I would like to see a bit more size inclusivity for plus sizes . What a great new addition to downtown Farmington it is so great that I can shop local.

The clearance rack finds are as good as the regular priced ones. Cato carries a nice costume jewelry selection, stockings and tights, belts and other accessories. They also carry wide widths, which is fantastic. I overheard someone making a layaway payment. Parking is plentiful as the store is in a busy strip mall. But, my daughter in law did not know what cato was so I was going to show her quickly and then we would come back another day. So we barely step in and the older lady with the dyed red hair says, " We close in 5 minutes". I replied, "Okay, "Thank you". I tell my daughter in law and her friend, so this is Cato. The Woman behind the counter stops waiting on her customer and makes a beeline towards us and says, "like, unless you can just grab something off a rack and bring it straight to the counter and check out... I am closing the store!!!!". She said it so rude, she was obviously upset that we had the audacity to open the door. I had no intention of keeping her past her time. I have worked in retail, I know what it is like when a customer comes in last minute and keeps you pay your time. However, I never ever told a customer that they were not welcome in my store during official business hours. She needs a stern talking to on how to respectfully treat people. This is why people shop online, why stores close and people lose jobs. You don't have to deal with rude sales people when you order from shein.

The holiday season returns made no difference to the cashier I worked with she was pleasant and super helpful. She even was able to find an item I had brought to return by looking up an online order number and corresponding tag. I thought it would be a hassle to make online returns in store but not at this location. The place is also very well kept with a friendly staff, clothes neatly displayed and a wide variety of items for the whole family or just a guy looking to add a few key wardrobe pieces like me.

Turquoise is the theme color of Maurice's decor. The store entrance and the bags for merchandise are both this beautiful color. Maurices is a one stop shop for moms and daughters.
