With the door half way open I yell out to my daughter in law and her friend that the store closes in 5 minutes. But, my daughter in law did not know what cato was so I was going to show her quickly and then we would come back another day. So we barely step in and the older lady with the dyed red hair says, " We close in 5 minutes". I replied, "Okay, "Thank you". I tell my daughter in law and her friend, so this is Cato. The Woman behind the counter stops waiting on her customer and makes a beeline towards us and says, "like, unless you can just grab something off a rack and bring it straight to the counter and check out... I am closing the store!!!!". She said it so rude, she was obviously upset that we had the audacity to open the door. I had no intention of keeping her past her time. I have worked in retail, I know what it is like when a customer comes in last minute and keeps you pay your time. However, I never ever told a customer that they were not welcome in my store during official business hours. She needs a stern talking to on how to respectfully treat people. It's expensive and I mean some of it is realllllly expensive and the customer service struck me as being particularly nonchalant and disinterested. Definitely not the highlight of the Mall for us.
