I visited Foot Locker over the weekend to try on a pair of New Balance shoes. Since I wasn't sure how the different styles would fit, I asked for two sizes in each shoe. The employee seemed a little annoyed by the request, but I thought that was a normal part of trying on shoes. After being told both sizes were available, I waited about 15 minutes while customers who asked after me received their shoes first. I eventually asked another employee, who found out no one had actually brought my shoes out. She kindly helped me and brought them out, which I appreciated. It wasn't a terrible experience, but I wish someone had updated me instead of leaving me waiting. I really can't say I had the best experience here. First off, everyone working here on Wednesday, 12/18 around 2pm, were not very nice except one sales member - Evan. He was the only nicest person here, he made sure I received the right shoe and followed through when he said he was going to do something. Everyone else seemed like they had some stick up there behind, because they had attitude and didn't smile. It was so awkward. Maybe it's the holiday season causing everyone to be cranky and flat out rude but I was surprised at the not-so-nice customer service, or lack there of. Pretty nice size footlocker, they recently combined the kids an adult stores together. This store has a good selection of adidas, Nike, Jordan and various other brands. They often will put shoes on sale to make wave for the next season or if they only have a select few sizes left. Tip always double check your own shoes to ensure both the same size, ask if it's the last one. If so please note it's the display model that you might be walking out with. Sometimes that's fine but keep in mind with people handling the shoes their hand oils start to rub off and damage the shoe. They do price match competitors in the mall but you have to take a photo of the competitors price and bring it back for them to honor. read more

This place has really horrible customer service. Staff are always on their phone and ignoring customers and when you do get their attention, they tell you there's no inventory in the back for the size you're looking for. I know because only when I've asked several different people does one person bring out sizes the others say was out of stock. The manager Bethany is not able to help even if she tried too and orders the shoes requested in the incorrect size when she tells me there's no size in store so she'll order online because as she says "she scanned the right barcode but the wrong size appeared in the system." When she tries to cancel the order with corporate, she waits on hold a long time and by that time I went and came back and she assured me the order was cancelled the next day. Turns out the order went through (for the wrong size mind you). And I call corporate and they can't even refund me because it already shipped! I was not able to resolve over the phone not even with her ticket number so they fulfill orders here at footlocker even when it was the wrong order placed, even when they told you it was cancelled. What kind of customer service is this?! Edit to say I called back to speak to manager Bethany and all she had to say was "this is not a "me" problem; that is corporate's issue." Okay so my husband went to go return a pair of shoes. He went to return the Yeezy's 350 in the color slate. There were two young guys and a girl there. The girl, Julia checked him out for the return but one of the guys wanted to put his two cents that my husband was returning fakes. Something about someone earlier had returned the same shoes in the same size 10.5 earlier that day. WTF!?! Okayyy, last time I checked those are an average size for men, right? So I guess that means it's a scam huh? The main issue is that is highly offensive to say to a honest, paying customer. My husband is a sneakerhead and he got lucky with winning two lotteries so he decided to return a pair since he didn't need two. Since the Yeezy's were not doing well, it wasn't worth the energy to justify selling it on StockX or whatever. So that guy needs some training or your workers need some customer service training in general. If you're going to accuse someone of scamming, you might want to do something about it instead of offending a customer and making them not want to come back to the store. I go here every year because my son loves this place. There are two stores in Roseville galleria that compete and it's always a toss up on the one we will purchase shoes from. It all depends on who has the shoes and foot locker has been around as long as I can remember. This place is packed every year when it is time to go back to school and the customer service here is amazing. We have never had a bad experience here. The shoes are more expensive here but that is why you go to foot locker. They have the Jordan's and other shoes that other stores don't have. read more

Walked in, store wasn't too busy. No one assisted me while I stared at all the shoes. A white couple walked in 15 minutes after I did and they asked them if they needed assistance right away. I walked up to their rep and stated I was waiting service and you couldn't ask me if I needed help. Walked out, told them they lost me as a customer. The store has a large tennis shoe selection. However, I did not have a good experience with the customer service. The cashier did not look me in the face and did not check to make sure the shoe size was correct . I got home and noticed I had the wrong size shoes. I had to make a special trip on my lunch break to go back to the store the next day. No one ever apologized about the inconvenience and both the cashiers (same girl that got the tennis shoe in the stock room) and the lady that directed me to the cashier started laughing at me. Bought a pair of Nike Air Force Ones two weeks ago. Despite only wearing them 3 or 4 times, when I put them on to go out last night I noticed the stitching had come out of one of the swooshes and it was 3/4 of the way off. No idea how or why. I've never had to return or exchange shoes before so I didn't hang on to the box or receipt so I wasn't real optimistic that they could do much for me. Walked in today and the cashier Marrisa wasn't so sure either but she called the manager over to see what he thought. Eric took a quick look at the shoes and said, " yeah, we'll exchange these" and went to the back and brought out a new pair. Gave them my info and I was on my way. Stores and managers willing to bend the rules to take care of a customer are becoming more and more rare. This store has absolutely horrible customer service. It seemed like they did not want to help me at all for some reason. The store was not even busy at all. All I wanted to do was exchange some shoes for a different size and return a shirt. Unfortunately I did not have my receipt but my purchase was easily accessible on my account. The cashier had a horrible attitude and wouldn't look me in the eye. I even called customer service before coming into the store and they said that I should have no problem since the purchase was mase on my vip account. I told the cashier that but she just completely disregarded it. Every time I come into this foot locker the customer service is horrible. I took my items back to the foot locker at Arden and had no problem. They were such a great help and it only took a few minutes. I can't believe how horrible the service is at the galleria foot locker. There definitely has to be some changes made. I wish I would've gotten the cashier's name but I just had to get out of there at that point. From now on I will only go to the footlocker at Arden. This particular location is only good for getting what you want and getting out. Customer service is terrible. I guess the one thing that I was reminded of is you can't expect much from young teenage workers or older washed up retail associates. However, Macy's and Best Buy are somewhat similar retailers but the customer service and satisfaction is 1000x better. read more

The employees working on the evening shift Tuesday 2/21 were useless and rude. It is your job to greet and ask if a customer needs anything, correct? You work a shoe store! You get me my size shoe and that's it! It's not rocket science. I had my shoe that I wanted, literally in my hand as I wandered around. The girl folding clothes (that were already folded) wouldn't even look my way. She definitely saw me but kept staring down. The 2 guys working were BS-ing with each other. Saw me, didn't say a word. The women's shoes are hidden behind a pillar that no average sized person could even fit behind, so even looking at the styles was out of the question. Horrible customer Service!!!! Their inventory is always incorrect. I ordered two pairs of shoes off footlocker.com. for a Christmas gift. They were shipped from two different locations.(Citrus Heights & Roseville) I ordered them late on a Thursday night, Per tracking system, labels were created the following day. I received one pair on Monday and yet to receive the other pair from Roseville. I had to call Footlocker customer service for an update, agent had a hard time getting a hold of someone from the store and when he finally did they were unwilling to locate my order. I had to call customer service a second time, and this time they were able to tell me that order was indeed shipped two days later, but USPS failed to scan package, so no tracking info is available. It been a week since I placed order, did I mention I live in Sacramento? I will never order from footlocker.com ever again. ShoePalace is my new store to do to. Huge variety.
