Unfortunately, service needs lots of improvement. It was as if as soon as they see customers they run away. Shopping for my daughter, we wanted a little more fashionable look so we decided on Footlocker instead of Famous Footwear where we normally shop. When we entered there was one associate doing shipment at the register (?) , one standing at the front. And another with a customer. We looked at the shoes for a bit, and when I turned to check if any associate was going to check in if we needed sizes all were behind the register? Waited a little, and finally was set on a few to try on. I turned around to check again. Still not with customers but not eager to help in anyway. We walked out and decided to stick with Famous Footwear. It's a shame , I found shoes for my daughter and myself. But lack of interest from the employees made us shop elsewhere. read more

The store at Ka Makana Ai'i is smaller than the store at Ala Moana. The service wasn't good. I walked in and there were four associates standing around and no one greeted me. There was also another customer in the store who wasn't being helped. They were more interested in playing games with each other. They were playing this game that my 15 year old son plays with his friends. One person makes a motion and the other person has to avoid it. They take turns going back and forth. Oh well. I perused the store and looked at some Nike shoes and some Crocs. I've been into buying shoes lately. They had a pair of exclusive Spider Man Crocs that I contemplated buying, but I had just ordered a regular pair from the Crocs website. On Yelp it says store is open and hours of operation is 10am. Well I just found out they actually open at 11am which doesn't make any sense because the whole mall opens at 10am. "I'm so CONFUSED! Whoever is the manager here should absolutely be fired. The mall opens up at 10am, but for some reason this store is the ONLY store here to open up at noon. I waited two hours for it to open, walked past it at 11am and 11:30, and at 12:01 they put up this sign saying they're closed for the day. If you're unable to get staff here, why not out that sign up hours ago?! If you have someone to come in the store to put up the sign, why not just freaking open?? And don't come back at me with some BS about short staffing - maybe if you paid your employees a living wage you wouldn't have to deal with this. You already sell shoes made off of slave labor, you don't have to sell them in your store the same way. This sh*t hole will be closed in the next 3 months, hopefully a better store will come in. read more

I'm not a fan of shoe stores. But everyone got Nike shoes for Christmas and my baby needed a pair too. Came to this foot locker to look at baby shoes. Greyson helped me. I asked what the smallest size was and he brought out a pair. I measured my baby's foot on the box and it looked like a good fit so I bought it. It fits perfect. It's not too big but not too tight. Greyson has really good customer service skills and is very friendly. I definitely recommend this foot locker for your shoe needs. read more

This was my first and last time going in this footlocker. I can see why there are barely customers in this store and why they have so many bad reviews. Even though there were 4 workers and a few customers, none of them greeted or asked us if we needed help. We were looking for shoes for my daughter and we asked for a couple of sizes. After choosing the right size, we noticed a black smudge on the top of the shoe. When we told the worker (I think her name was Cassidy) about it, she gave us attitude. The whole time we were there she had this bad look on her face and she sounded irritated like we had done something wrong. After we made our purchase, we thought we got the wrong shoe size and when we went back to clarify things up, she continued to give us a bad look with a harsh tone. I'm not sure if it was because they were closing up or for whatever reason, we weren't having it. Even my daughter noticed the tension. There was only one nice male worker that helped us out, everyone else was just staring at us in silent. My family and I had a bad experience, it made us irritated after leaving the store. If they weren't close soon after, we probably would have made a complaint to management. read more

He walked around the store, and when we needed a size he said not one word. Not even a your welcome or anything after we said thanks. Just walked away and didn't help after that. Maybe he's deaf? let me just say first off we will NEVER EVER be coming back here the service absolutely sucks! None of these workers have customer service ethics! We was not greeted or helped at all by anyone the workers was all behind the counter laughing talking among themselves then when we finally got help the workers that helped us was hostile and rude! Im writing this because now I'm not able to get ahold of him, and its kind of making me crazy lol, but this past memorial day me and my 3 year old daughter came into the store and was being helped by this guy named "CASH", but long story short... he was such a gentleman to us, was very patient and went even as far as even paying for one of my daughter shoes with his own money. He did state that he often puts up the money for customers shoes if he notices they are struggling to pay. which made me love him even more lol. The other day my foot got unlocked so I needed to find a locker to lock it back up. LOL JK JK I was born with 2 legs and 2 feet, unlike cats and dogs, so I bring both my legs and feet with me everywhere I go. This means whenever I leave the house, I wear some kind of shoe. I walk around a lot because I'm human and that's what we do, we walk. After so many use, I started to wear out the shoes that I wore from when I wear them. I needed new shoes so my cousin and I went Foot Locker. We walked in and were greeted nicely by a referee dressed in black and white stripes. I didn't know what game was playing. He asked if I needed any help. I said, "I don't understand the game." He looked confused. So I brought him back to earth. I said, "I like some shoes that make my feet feel good every step of da way." He showed me some shoes on the shelf. Before I looked at the designs, I looked at the price. My cousin and I knew deep in our hearts, minds, souls, and bank accounts that we won't be walking out with new shoes. So we decided to do what we could afford to do. We tried them on. Wish I could give a 0. First, their hours of operation are completely wrong on all websites and they close and open whenever they feel like it. We came to this store just to purchase a pair of socks and leave at 645pm and when we walk through a worker immediately stopped us and told us they were closed, I showed her the time on my phone and she said, "well our clocks say it's 7pm so we are closed".... Not only was she rude and had an attitude but wouldn't allow us in when they WERE STILL OPEN. Horrible customer service every single time. read more

Got 2 starts because the sign on the door says that store hours are Monday-Saturday 11am-8pm and Sunday from 12pm - 6pm. Got here in a Tuesday at 10:55am and waited outside. Saw 2 young female employees come at 11:07am with their coffee bean and ti leaf drinks. They unlocked the doors and went in, relooked the doors. It is now 11:15am and they still haven't open the doors. I'm not the only one who's waiting for the doors to open. What is hours of operation for if the employees are inside dilly dallying while customers are waiting outside. Maybe wake up earlier and getting coffee prior to opening is to be considered. read more

My husband and i like coming to this location. For some reason we also get welcomed by Chelsea. She is very friendly and remembers us every time we come in to shop. wide selection of shoes and clothing. The most important thing is the AC is cold. After waking around a hot outdoor mall it's nice to feel cold air. read more

Not really a fan of this store anymore. My husband and I come here frequently and no one ever says hi or greets us so we stopped spending money at this store. Today we tried to give this location another chance and the worker literally stared at us as we walked in but only said hello to the family behind us as they walked in. Yes, we are black. Not sure if they have something against our kind but it isn't right. I plan on visiting again to see if the behavior continues. If so, I will be reporting them. Unacceptable. Last week I took my 9year old daughter into the Kapolei Footlocker because she wanted some new shoe for school, as she has already burnt through the other 6 pairs she had. We were approached and assisted by a local male (Martin) who was very knowledgeable and understanding as to my daughter's needs. He was not pushy in anyway and was able to not only assist us but 2 other customers at the same time (multi tasking) without forgetting about any of our needs. Martin was full of energy and knowledge that I got out of the store with 2 new pairs of shoe for my daughter, some socks and a new workout outfit for myself and enjoyed my total experienced at your Footlock. The reason being I gave a 2 star is because as I walked in I was not greeted with a "hello, welcome to footlocker" or even just a simple "Aloha!". But any ways it's one thing I wasn't greeted upon walking in but the people behind me was greeted. I walked around through the whole store and looked around the girls working there was more concern about their gossip and life out of work instead of focusing in costumer service.
