The title of the business was also interesting to me, so I walked in... The air-conditioning was wonderful! I liked the spacious, organized, bright, clean environment! It was peaceful and on the classy side! I looked through the beautiful clothing, but I think I wasn't in a buying mood. I didn't feel pressured from the sales associate - so that was a good thing. I was pleasantly surprised (and honestly so happy) to see a small selection of plus-size men's clothing which can be so rare, especially in mall shops. It felt great to see 3X options available! Since the fabric wasn't stretchy, we searched for a 4X and were lucky to find one and my partner loved the design right away. We were both so excited. What ultimately stopped us was the price, it was over $100, for one shirt, which is unfortunately outside of our budget right now. That said, we absolutely see the quality and care that goes into each piece, and we truly respect how they're made. Curious, I entered the spacious, bright, well air-conditioned, tidy shop. I saw clothing by Kini Zamora... he is a designer from Hawaii that was on Project Runway. I thought: i wonder if I can get an outfit? The dresses that I liked weren't in my size... hmmm... I'll look again later... There were some funny stickers... they were sold out. I almost got a cute Power Puff Girl sticker... and Kawaii Supaerman sticker... LOL! I liked the tote bags, stationary, accessories like costume jewelry, local fragrances, Hawaiian themed t-shirts, pet supplies, etc. A worker asked if I needed help because I was going back and forth. At the end of the transaction she showed me that what I spent today I would be able to save over $50 more. I knew it sounded too good to be true so I re-iterated "I would get $50+ off today?" In which she said yes and that the process would be quick. I'm not an idiot and I'd like to say that my credit experience and knowledge is quite extensive. I don't know where I went wrong and where I was not clear but she flipped the monitor around and said that I can use the 30 percent off in about 7-9 days. I was livid but handled myself in the most calmest demeanor possible. I informed her that the whole reason I applied for the credit card was because she had stated that I could have $50 off of my whole purchase same day. The audacity she had when she said that she was sorry for my misunderstanding. I believe that I was truly lied to and victim to her meeting some kind of credit quota. I hope that someone important sees this because I am not a happy customer.
