I believe the poor ratings are from the prior location, which I believe was two store fronts over. That location was very dim and the staff wasn't too involved with the customers. However, they got a bigger location and completely changed the layout of the store. The ground level is for children and women and the second level is for men. The store is now bright and filled with employees to assist you with purchases. read more

Great service and a massive shoe selection, this is my favorite foot locker to go to.

I shop at this place regularly because it's in my neighborhood but usually come out empty handed. The service is horrible! There's about 20 kids messing around with each other and having fun but totally ignoring customers. Nobody wants to help. You ask for a size and the will automatically tell you they don't have it without doing the due diligence and looking in the system. No thank you ! I'll go to Snipes across the street where the kids are welcoming and nice and want to help you get in a new pair of shoes. read more

After being disappointed with Central Sports, I walked into this Foot Locker with my beau apparently right at closing, but we were still welcomed in to look around. Honestly one of the most friendly and helpful staff I've yet to encounter on this chain. I left with a pair of Nike Shox on sale for $80 (I'm jealous of myself!) from $120. Clean sitting area to try on, and everything looked very up to standards being stocked. I'd go back soon for sure. read more

I bought these Air Force 1 sneakers for my boyfriend. He is in a wheelchair therefore these sneakers have little to no wear and tear. They came apart in 4 months. Foot locker refused to assist me due to their skimpy 45 day return policy. In fact, they refused to answer a question about a product. I posted a question regarding a product number and they sent me an email saying that my question did not meet company standards therefore they could not answer my question. It seems like they might be bootlegging their products. I would seriously reconsider buying anything from this company. They shouldn't be called Footlocker they should be called foot lacker or slacker. I filed a claim with Nike and have not heard back. read more

Shamika and Steve were amazing at customer service. I have a picky 11 year old and she me fed basketball shoes. She is the worst with shoes. Poor Steve not only was he Knowledgeable but he kept running back and forth to get the right fit ! My kid ended up going with his recommended shoe for basketball and he was so right If you had a bad experience here, it's your fault. Shamika was lovely and personable. This store was busy but they were real Also Aldo was the bomb too. He really tried to find my size. read more

I can honestly say that one star is one star too many. I went over to this location to pick up a pair of adidas sneakers. I have abnormally small feet. I'm barely 5'0 so I wear kids size shoes. I walk up to a gentleman and ask him for kid size 5 sneakers. He says he doesn't have any and says I'm required to purchase a size 7 in women. I wait for the shoes as I proceed to walk over to the children's section and try on the shoe that is on display of a size 4.5 I try them on and they fit perfectly with room to spare. So the man comes out and says that they don't have the size 7 or size 6 in women's in stock. I again asked for a size 4.5 or a 5 in children's and without even searching he declined and said they didn't have any in stock. I walked out of the store. He would rather lose a complete sale AND a regular customer over the difference of ten dollars between adult and children's shoes. Then so be it. No longer shopping at this store. Customer service is horrendous. read more

Only reason why I come here is bc I know the manager an I like to support good people. BUT in all honesty there selection SUCKS there's like nothing here Sales suck Never sizes Never any new releases It's just the name footlocker that draws your attention but footlocker should stand behind there name an make this store pop with good shit esp considering there on the most busiest aves in bklyn. Trains buses all right there 5th Ave an tons of other stores. I don't understand why there selections suck. Anyway if you don't find what you need modells is right up the block. read more

The workers here were very rude and insensitive, when asked a proper question their only quality is to respond with disgusting attitude. This place has bad customer service, their workers can and should be replaced with more professional sales associates capable of providing customer service. I would only recommend to go here if you are fine with nasty attitude and no help. Edit: I forgot to mention, there's one worker that stands in one spot talking to whoever on the phone for hours read more

The worst customer service ever!! Two people behind the register, one man one woman, the lady cracking up with what I think were her friends returning stuff (took forever) and the dude on the phone talking to god knows who! Aside from the place being super filthy! Either they need to get rid of the employees OR get that kind of store out of Bay Ridge cuz it don't belong there. The selection sucks! read more

Foot Locker - Took over half an hour to just standing on line. - Shoe Stores Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Very rude cashiers, went there once and it was the absolute awful experience. The customer service was just tragic. I'm a regular customer of Foot Locker however this is the worst location to go to. Go to other Foot Locker locations but avoid this one at all costs. Especially the female staff (not all of them but there were two girls, unfortunately I don't know the names) treat you like you're not even welcome there and just give you the attitude. read more

The manager Ashley should be replaced immediately. She lacks in customer communication and gives wrong information for new releases. Not only has she gave bad attitude towards me but to other customers. read more

This foot locker really is pretty crappy. I go because I live nearby and I'm frequently on 86th street. Their selection of clothing and footwear is minimal compared to other foot lockers. This is like the younger sibling of foot lockers where they send their hand me downs. Whatever other footlockers don't want or need they probably send it here. But on a good note two stars because they usually have my size when I actually see something I like, which unfortunately is not often. read more

The staff is very inattentive. Very bad customer service, how are they still open? This is the worst Footlocker I've been to. Save your money and go to another Footlocker, this one doesn't deserve your money. read more

My visit to this footlocker was very disheartening. Enough to never return to any footlocker. I was with my four year old son whilst trying on multiple sneakers. I had already passed two pairs to the sales assistant with the intent to purchase. I was looking at a third pair when my son told me that he needed the bathroom. I immediately asked the sales assistant where the bathroom was. I was informed "there is no bathroom". We then quickly tried to finish off what we were buying so we could leave. At which point my son said again, "I have to go to the bathroom". Again I asked "You really don't have a bathroom? Even a staff one my son could just use?". I was told "well yes we do have one, but we can't let you use it, it's against store policy". At this point my son could no longer wait and wet himself. At which point we had to leave without making a purchase. We said to the sales person " we understand you have store policy but don't you understand sometimes there has to be a little lea-way. You have just lost the sale of three pairs of sneakers minimum" She reacted with indifference and said "Someone will buy them". Does foot locker care about customer service? Are your staff unable to think for themselves? I work for a bar, we have a similar policy, the bathroom is for customers. I do however understand that the rules can be bent for a small child or pregnant woman. read more

These people are jerks , absolutely each and every one of them. I came into this foot locker today to exchange some nike sneakers I got for Xmas because they were tight on me , i did not have the box so I had the sneakers in hand when I walked in and one the associates (male) just looks at me and tells me right off the bat with the dirtiest attitude "if you want to return you need the box no matter what" wth didn't even get a chance to explain myself then as I was about to speak he said "also for exchange you need the box" idk how these people get hired but take your business somewhere else, come here if you want to be treated like crap read more

The location that this footlocker is in, you would think the district manager would do a better job in staffing their associates. The store is in an excellent location and is always busy. The customer service at this location is horrendous. My husband is a platinum VIP member he shopped in their regularly fort his sneakers along with mine and my daughters. 2 weeks ago we purchased 4 pairs of sneakers spending close to $400.00. I noticed today that on my Nike air max the seems were coming out. I brought the sneakers back looking for an exchange. I first spoke with the sales associate who helped us 2 weeks ago. When I showed her the shoe her response was ":What you want a refund or what." She then called over another associate who was ruder than the associate; the manager told me that I needed the original box. When I explained that I wanted a return and showed her the damaged sneaker she rolled her eyes and said "I need the box". These sneakers are not cheap they were $190.00. I then asked to speak with a manager and she replied that she was the manager. I asked for her name (her name tag was not on) and the number the customer service. She wrote both on the receipt and circled the return policy on the back of the receipt. I called the number she gave me and was put on hold and transferred for about 1 hr, during this time I read the return policy, no where does it say you need the box. It states that you can get a return or exchange within 30 days with a receipt (which I have). I finally got to a customer call center to find out that the number she gave me was the number to online ordering. I gave the operator my information and am waiting for a call back from the district manager. Definitely take your business elsewhere the footlocker on 5th ave and on 24th ave are usually very helpful. The associates at this location are nasty and rude, and need to learn how to speak proper English before they are allowed on the floor. read more
