Jackets/coats galore - and in all sizes. Eddie B. also had a ton of sales going on, up to 70%! Workers were welcoming and efficient. Gave you the space to explore but were readily available for questions. I can't wait to return.

Anchorage needs about 10 more shops like this!…read more This is a place to shop for local, "Alaska-stuff" for...people that already live in Alaska. Or, alternatively, a great place to take your visiting friends that are more into local culture/flavor that paying someone hundreds of dollars to walk on a glacier and take cheesy photos. (that will inevitably end up on Tinder) This place mainly features local graphic design on all sorts of things, but mainly cozy apparel. If you've seen that famous graphic of two ravens on a dumpster with a reference to Spenard: it came from here! They also have hoodie with the coolest-looking Flattop render on them I have ever seen! They also carry Uncle Leroy's coffee! (RIP, physical locations *sadface*) My only complaint: I wish there even MORE local art designs. What they have is great, just needs more variety!

There are cameras everywhere. Security greets you at the door. They have cool pulley baskets to make your shopping easier. Their carts have technology that will not allow them to leave the store. It's definitely bilingual in here. Everything is translated into Spanish and the best part? Tons of Mexican snacks and candies all over. Also lots of plantain chips of all kinds. It's giving California and I love it. My tween didn't find anything but we found lots of big/tall (larger) stuff for my gentle giant. But of course we'll be back.

Lots of staff, which isn't a problem if you're just a regular shopper and need help with anything…read more If you're here to steal- lol there's lots of staff. It seems like they have problems near closing with shoplifting but are quick to address the situation. But if you're open late in Anchorage, you're going to attract those kind of people. I do like that I can go shopping after the malls close though. Every staff I've interacted with has been helpful to me. From questions on sales and coupons to help finding what I am looking for or price checks. You can find good deals here if you look. Or, if price doesn't matter, they have a ton of selection. I just bought my toddler little Nike shoes for $20 using sale price and $10 bonus cash. When buying kids shoes (and you do have to buy a lot considering they grow so fast) you do need to find good deals. They have a good selection of workout clothes that are different than what other stores offer. Plus I love the buy online and pick up in store option. I wish they had a little more selection for the 30ish women's range, it seems like they have mostly (for women) teenybopper clothes and then straight to 40s+ clothes. But the workout clothing selection keeps me coming back.

When we came in we were treated by the security guard who also gave us a shopping cart. Walking around people asked if I needed help finding anything, which was nice to hear because you hear it less and less. I found decor for my playroom and for a great clearance price too it's worth looking in the back. Something I didn't care for was that two or three cashiers at the front were having their own loud conversation that wasn't very appropriate and they did not have the professionalism to cut the convo short for a minute and just resume after we checked out. The young man we had as our cashier though was incredibly professional and ultra polite. I don't go to kohls often but when I do it's typically to buy Nike or Adidas because I know they have it there.
