Mall security is amped up. I saw a security guard doing a power walk towards a maybe homeless person inside. There's tons of stores inside and a nice variety. It's not the same as down south but still good with many quality places to shop from. The bathrooms definitely need more attention though. If you can avoid them, avoid them.

Unfortunately malls are dying out and mall operators don't seem focused on pivoting to keep these public spaces open and going. Retailers need to start thinking outside the box and keep energy in these spaces or we will loose in person shopping and that would be such a shame. We did get a few things and shop around but we really expected more for a downtown mall. This needs once over by the developer and the City should be more concerned with its success.

She left with a pair of heels, a running shoe and slippers. NR has a new shoe customer, thanks to me (even though she'll never admit it was me). There are cameras everywhere. Security greets you at the door. They have cool pulley baskets to make your shopping easier. Their carts have technology that will not allow them to leave the store. It's definitely bilingual in here. Everything is translated into Spanish and the best part? Tons of Mexican snacks and candies all over. Also lots of plantain chips of all kinds. It's giving California and I love it. My tween didn't find anything but we found lots of big/tall (larger) stuff for my gentle giant. But of course we'll be back.

In picked the regular skateboard and they showed me the boards there was so much options I picked a GX board and a custom shake junt green grip tape. Then when we were setting the board up they gave me the best options because I had no budget, so they got me the best trucks, wheels, everything. And at checkout they gave me free stickers, the nice guy that helped me was a blonde dude with a beanie I don't remember his name I just know he was nice. I also came a month or 2 later to get a helmet and pads after I fractured my left arm trying to Ollie a 4 stair, and the staff was very helpful trying to see which helmet I like and if it was comfortable. And they even invited me to the skate day event that was coming up.I can now do a varial flip, Ollie, nollie, boardslide, noseslide, and I'm working on a kickflip front feeble Ollie 180 revert out.
