If you need gear for the cold and are only a casual hiker: this is the place to go. You pay the big bucks for cold weather gear that is light and breathable (if you need this, go to AMH), but if you just need cold gear for short hikes, or walking around town, or working outside: this is the place. I was impressed by how cheap their gloves are. I might start buying my ice climbing gloves here, instead of REI/AMH. If you're an Extratufsexual, you'll have a lot to chose from here.

Their workers welcomed us, gave us space, and were there for us once we needed them. Vans sells quality clothing, shoe wear, and accessories. Also skateboards. The prices here are out-of-this-world. Want a beanie? Well, in Canada they call 'em toques. But a toque will run you a smooth $125 here. Just about every jacket is around $900.
