Wow here 2 days in a row. Brought Leila yesterday with her gift card and the sale racks were loaded for after Christmas items ... today wow 6 racks full now only 2 racks full for the ladies. Judy scores 2 items. Yesterday Leila got 2 jackets and I got a long sleeve silver threaded shirt supposed to keep the stinky off when you work out. Here we go back to working out at Alaska Club - Here's to Looking Good working out. I like this place but I only shop the sales. This is a fun store in the fifth ave mall . I love their clothes . I am always greeted warmly as soon as I walk in . If I am looking for something specific my questions are swiftly answered. I enjoy shopping here because everything is laid out perfectly . It doesn't take long to see everything they have . This shop is not overcrowded with merchandise . If you buy into the minimalist life style this is the shop for you . I can only afford one or two items from lulumon a season . Whatever I buy here is well made , durable and quite often can go from workout to streetwear. read more

I visited this store a few days ago with my mom and sister. We were having a bit of a crisis looking for tampons because there are literally no pharmacies in downtown Anchorage but the gals here literally went above and beyond to help us out. I visited this store today and had a wonderful experience. I was greeted by Amber, she asked me if I need assistance and let me know about the clearance options. Her customer service was phenomenal!!! She payed attention to detail about my concerns. She showed me various options of leggings, based on the purpose of use. I felt like a kid on Christmas Day. My wife braved the cross town traffic and holiday crowds to buy me an Xmas gift from Lululemon in December. Unfortunately, the item was very undersized. The 5th Ave. mall is a place we seldom go, due to it being far away and inconvenient to get to, so it took a while for us to get back to the store to return the item. My wife was informed that her return window had closed and even though she had a receipt clearing stating the amount she spent, they would only be able to give her a gift card for the "current" value of the item, which was $20 less than she paid. We were both shocked that a store would have a policy like this, but upon further exploration, this kind of tactic seems par for the course for this chain. We'll never be back and I would encourage you to spend your money elsewhere as well! read more

Right off the bat, I am a fan of Lululemon clothes. No doubt about it. I like going to the 5th avenue mall, so now I yet another reason to go downtown. The brand is the best in workout clothes that you can get. The clothing holds together super well through wash after wash, it's extremely comfortable during and after your workout, AND the best part is that it is extremely cute! One downside is that the clothing is super expensive, but the upside is that you definitely get your moneys worth. This brand does not fall apart at all. You can often find (minimally) great sales in the store, or even online. The location of the store is on the same level as Apple and Lush, but I have seen a few business come and go in this location in the last 4 years. I hope they are able to produce the sales they need here. When you walk into the store, they have a blackboard that tells you about Anchorage Trail Runs which is neat too. Informative for the athletes that shop here. The reason this store did not get a 5 star review is that my friend and I were in the store for about 10 minutes, and not once did a sales associate come to greet us or ask us if we were looking for anything. We were browsing and window shopping but I had a couple questions and no one was around to help. I was a little disappointed. Hopefully the next couple of visits are more social than this. The product is comfortable, versatile, and has a quality i have yet to find in any other products on the market today. The attention to detail that this company has put into their products is apparent in every stitch and hem. Though I was initially skeptical, the product is worth every penny of the higher price. I Love Lululemon I have about ten things from lulu and I am hoping for more. It is so comfortable and is made really well. Although on the scuba hoodie I have on the hood the logo it sewn on with thread but the old ones were shinny metal and it look way better. read more
