This place isn't the bustling place it used to be when I was a kid or even just, young(er). It almost seems there are more vacancies than occupancies as far as merchants are concerned. Despite this, there are still gems like Eddie B. and Vans, among others. I recently visited the food court after year(s). Hard to see, considering how busy it used to be in my youth, but its nice to see they have family/nursing restrooms up there etc.

A must stop is Ian's! Super cool guy, the vintage hardware alone is worth the stop. So many different options and his selections is super wide. Worth checking out! Also a bang for your buck!

By far the nastiest Shopping mall I've ever visited in my 44 years. I've lived all over the United States and traveled the world, like 40 countries and this place takes the cake. The restrooms are littered with piss, shit, and blood. It's a biohazard to even enter the restrooms, much less have to use the toilet. The toilets don't get cleaned, the floors are gross and sticky, walls with piss, shit, and blood on them, and that's just what you can see, imagine what's not seen. How is this place still open? How has corporate allowed this to continue for so long? Ive lived here for over three years and it's only gotten worse.

This is actually a smaller mall compared to some that I've been to. It is located in Downtown. There are many floors with all kinds of stores. Lots of souvenir shops too. And at the very top floor is where the " food court " will be. There are not many options up there. But I believe on the 3rd floor they have a steakhouse. I like this mall and I would recommend all who visit Anchorage to go here at least once. There is a parking garage or street side parking. Not sure if the garage charges you to park your car. But I do know street side parking cost money. Wear your comfortable shoes and hit them up!

JOY's CORNER ESPRESSO CAFE -- I got the best coffee i had in Anchorage Alaska at Joy's Corner Espresso Cafe. it was freshly made, hot and delicious! Plus Joy's Corner had a big selection of food, cold drinks, smoothies, energy drink, and tea as well as all kinds of coffee.

Sorry, an update. Who designed this mall? It's in the heart of downtown (surrounded by COFFEE SHOPS. Why does this matter? Keep paying attention) and it has 5 stories of carrying capacity (if you count the "garden level"). The bathrooms? Have two stalls. TWO. How is this even legal? Isn't there some formula like: (average capacity)*(probability of the average American having bowel rumbles requiring immediate attention) = minimum # of stalls required? How can the answer to this be: "2". HOW? There is always a massive, awkward line for the stalls. I've never used them here. So I wander around downtown like a homeless person asking people if I can use theirs.

    A pleasant morning 's haul

Not too shabby. So many floors and a lot of stores. First time here so I didn't know what to expect.

I quite like this mall but, I like Dimond Center a little bit more being it's my favorite mall in Anchorage.

I see so much potential here. This place would make an amazing year-round boutique-y food market and restaurant stall mall. Butchers; fish mongers; international food stores; bakeries; produce stores; tea, coffee and spice shops; and a smattering of international eateries. But instead, this. mall. Is. VACANT. empty. Do not waste your time going here. Someone needs to seize upon this missed opportunity.

I parked close enough to a door to make it in safely and saw a cart in the hallway and was so excited cause I could not get my walker out of the car to come in. I began pushing it around the mall and was so happy until the 2 female security folks began harassing me. I tried to explain why I was pushing the cart and they didn't have an ounce of empathy and wanted to take the cart from me. when I asked if I could at least push it back toward the door where I was parked, they would not allow it. I felt extremely humiliated and both of them were very mean and angry and were trying to instigate conflict with me, they were bullying me. This saddens me as I have enjoyed past visits but probably will never return again.
