We showed up about 15m before they closed on a Friday night. Walked in, about 4 women on staff. No one greeted us. Walked around trying to comprehend what we were looking at for about 5 minutes. I knew they were closing soon so I went up to a tall lady with curly hair and asked her to explain to me what was native and what wasn't . We wanted to buy local it was like I was bugging her. She was condescending, just bad... I can dish it out too lady. So the backhand comments start, then she walked away and started talking bad about us to another lady. I truely don't understand when retail shops hire people with zero customer service habits. Spent 60.00 on some crap and left. Yup, we are tourists, but people like that lady took money out of the mouths of local artist that probably deserve a lot better. Side note before we left i made it clear we came to spend money to a blonde (very nice lady and possibly a native lady) both did a fantastic job and tried to break down what all the local artist items were but by that time it was closing time. They asked us to come back today at 10am but unfortunately our flight leaves at that time. Or we would have come back and bought 1k plus of gifts for our family. It's your business, do as you please. But when out of towners come and want to support local I'd imagine it's your bread and butter? Best of luck . Oh, your store had an amazing inventory, we should have got there earlier to spend more time and understand the culture.

I went in to grab a gift for my wife, fully expecting to point at something and hope for the best. Instead, Ms. Kay took the time to walk me through different types of yarn, what they're used for, and even the kinds of projects they go into. She didn't just sell me yarn, she educated me... patiently. The shop itself is a great setup. Tons of options, great quality, and you can tell everything in there has a purpose. It's one of those places where people who know what they're doing can really get after it, and people like me don't feel completely lost. Bottom line, Ms. Kay is just a genuinely good human being. Friendly, knowledgeable, and runs a solid business.
