You can definitely tell that the owner of this store has an eye for fashion. Beautiful store, great taste in clothing and always helpful!

I am so thankful to be able to stay on trend and not have to leave the Valley to find what I need.

This shop is kind of a hole in the wall shop that I accidentally found while looking for the Valley…read moreMedical supply for scrubs. It's located in a building that hosts a community of shops including, a florist, a game type area, and a couple other stores that I failed to recall after I left the last couple times. When you first walk in, you kind of get an overwhelming sense of a thrifty, inexpensive, almost seedy feeling of a shop. The shop owner does have some beautiful finds that she showcases for customers to see, but they seem a little pricey for being a used/consignment shop. There's also a couple pieces of furniture for sale as well, but definitely in an as-is condition. When the owner isn't there, the staff seems pretty hesitant on making even little haggling decisions on items. They have all sizes, all styles, along with all weather and all occasion clothing. (Great place to find a formal!) My last visit found me leaving with a business casual dress ($4), three sleeveless tops ($6), and a pair of shorts ($2.75). It takes time to peruse... but if you're diligent, you'll get a great deal! Tip: don't shop in the middle of summer... You'll overheat once you've been wandering the store for a while and it'll be miserable trying clothes on that already smell questionable in the warmth despite plans to take them home to wash and it will probably deter you from spending money... Remember, you're going to be able to wash your purchased clothing, so don't mind the smell. Happy thrifty hunting!

However, they did have a cute vintage Louis Vuitton in good condition, but that was about it.

I'll start with a confession: I've never actually set foot in C'est La Vie. And yet--I couldn't be…read moremore impressed. I live in Hawaii, and my manager lives in Wasilla. When our team decided to put together a "wardrobe fund" for her (she's transitioning from working at home--aka pajamas all day --to a professional, on-site role), I had no idea where to start. With a little help from ChatGPT and a lot of teamwork, we found C'est La Vie--and I am SO glad we did. The owner was absolutely wonderful to work with over the phone. She made the entire gift certificate process incredibly easy, smooth, and stress-free, even from thousands of miles away. Most importantly, she personally helped my manager pick out clothing that is comfortable, professional, fashionable, and affordable--which is no small feat when you're dressing for a new work environment and long on-site days. My manager felt supported, confident, and excited--and that says everything. Customer service like this is rare, and it speaks volumes about the care and integrity behind this shop. If you're in the Wasilla area, do yourself a favor and stop into C'est La Vie. Whether you're building a work wardrobe or just want clothes that actually feel good to wear, this place is a gem. Nothing but great things to say! -- A very grateful (and very far away) customer
