Here are some pictures of moldy wood they have for sale in the store. Green mold should never be for sale or even anywhere near food items that people will buy and consume. Green mold is very dangerous to the digestive track, and it causes problems in the intestinal track. Black mold is very bad too. Check out these pictures of what they have for sale for top dollar. Even burning this wood in your home may cause problems, health wise. Is this what the price increase is about? Having Los Angeles residents pay more for less quality so that we get sick? Please read before visiting. I imagine that we continue to live in a country that accepts diversity. Especially in the role of customer service, the objective should always be meeting the expectations of incoming customers. Now if your reading this I am assuming you have parents or child for which you care for deeply. These are important people in your lives and you would want them to be treated like a valued customer regardless of their physical features, nationality, accent, or religion. I can say with 100% accuracy that these values are NOT met at this location. My mother and father-in-law were ridiculed by cashiers because THEY could not comprehend their simple request for a price check. Ladies and gentlemen I will be upfront with my race. We are regulars at this store and really like the variety and prices but this is not the first time this cashier guy disrespected us, I walked in to get groceries and when I went to pay there was this guy Darnell M. This is one of the most economical supermarkets in Los Angeles, the vegetables are fresh all the time, and I love the fact they are always sweeping around the vegetable area that says a lot about the way they keep their store. Honestly they are missing a lot of stuff. The workers are hardly available to assist you and finding certain food is difficult because the store is too large. The Most Racist business ever towards Mexican American people. I am extremely offended on how the cashier treated a Mexican customer in front of me. Bad customer service and barely has any selection, I was looking for a dozen eggs and saw all of the ones on the rack gone so I ask an employee if they have any in the back and they say no, so I look to get the next available size only to see plenty of eggs that are the size I needed right there that were not broken or expired, so I go and ask another person if he can grab them then he goes in the back and I see him talk to the guy I asked the first time and then he walks out saying they are all expired, so at this point I say whatever and that it's bad service to lie instead of actually looking.
