Everything we've ordered came out flavorfully prepared. Most subs can be made to order. Pricing was fair compared to similar deli places. We do believe the owner actually prepared and make all the subs. The only drawback was that there's no dining area inside. There are several tables/benches on the outside area if you chose to eat there.

The staff are so friendly as always and we love supporting this business. The sandwich selection is vast, and so far none of them have steered us wrong. Roast beef was good but I made the mistake of asking for salt and pepper, and the guy put way too much salt, almost making it inedible. The chicken salad had green and jalapeno peppers, which was unexpected but my wife said it was good. The system for ordering seems to be a little haphazard, so save yourself time and go up to the cashier to order. The place was a little lacking for other product selections, but not insufficient, with a reasonable number of chip choices. There were a few signs about the lack of staff, requesting patience. Stopped by to grab a sandwich- you can either create your own or pick an already created favorite from the list. I went plain Jane and made a turkey, American, onion lettuce tomato and bay on white bread. It was a hefty sandwich filled to the brim with meats. Split it with a friend and I still couldn't finish my half. Lots of chip choices and even sides like pasta salad, macaroni salad, potato salad, and even pimento cheese. There are also lots of drink choices too. You order your sandwich at a counter from a sheet of paper with all the sandwich choices and leave it for the sandwich maker to make (on the day we visited, it was a sweet older lady) You take up your sandwich to check out and the lady behind the counter let us know that we could eat in, and where there was some tables. They also have some frozen soups, fresh meats, candy and baked goods.

The short rib sub was absolutely delicious served with Kettle chips. The meat was perfectly cooked and must have fallen off the bone before being put on the roll. Forgiveness because the short ribs were insanely good. I opted for a side of coleslaw (dixie style) however just a tad too sweet for my taste. They offered traditional bratwurst and kraut with mustard for Oktoberfest weekend. Definitely a must do in Berlin. They sell beer and wine. In the meantime we ran out of drinks and had requested water multiple times. Nothing. This is a small place and there were 3 other tables. Finally we got drinks and our food showed up. The food could have been good but you can't serve a sandwich that's 50% fat. Our drinks were comped but that didn't make up for the overall l experience.
