They opened up about a month or so ago. I live about 80 min away from Cape Charles. So I generally I plan a day trip to visit. My kiddos and I had a Monday trip this week. When we arrived we headed straight back to where they are located inside of Table & Tonic.... Super cute store by the way. They still had a pretty good selection around 12:30pm. We picked up some sandwiches, chips, pasta salad, soda and their homemade desserts. They have a whole self checkout system set up. You bag it, and pay for it all on your own. They have plastic wear and condiment packets if needed. The male there (assuming owner) was great. He was attentive and helped a customer chose their sandwich... which ended up being the chicken salad. The sandwiches were fantastic! Fresh and tasty! My favorite was The Virginia. It was like a chicken Caesar salad on focaccia. The bread was perfect, not hard at all. My children raves about the chicken salad sandwich. Their two pasta salad options are a perfect accompaniment to the sandwiches. One is a creamy base and the other is more of an oil and vinegar type of base. Both were absolutely delicious!
