The chicken was great and the coleslaw was great. The blueberry biscuit was the best I ever had. The service was great and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Totally did the touristy thing and stopped hlat Bojangles on our drive home from OBX. We decided to order inside and use this as a bathroom break before continuing our drive. Big mistake as there was a family of 12+ ahead of us ordering pretty much the whole menu. They had one person filling in-store orders and another doing the drive-thru and wow did the drive-thru go faster. Immediately regretted that we didn't just go through the drive-thru. As this wasn't the crew's fault, I'll move on. Ordered the chicken sandwich which is apparently new and it was really good! Tasted similar to Popeye's but a bit spicer. Their bread also wasn't as greasy, really good! Their fries were amazing and may be some of my favorite fast food fries yet. And the sweet tea? Yes please. Classic southern fast food! I'm glad we stopped here instead of a place we could eat back home. Nothing better than eating fast food in the car on a road trip.

Picked up a two piece chicken breast/wing combo. The place has a decent amount of seating inside. Staff was decent. Quickly took and filled our order. The chicken was fried up fresh. The breading is more like corn flakes; good, but I like regular breading better. The chicken flavor was tasty....so was the fresh sweet creamy coleslaw, and the mashed potatoes, which were just made from a powder mix. The gravy was good with them. Not sure I'll return to this chain, as we just weren't that impressed with the chicken

The food was hot and the servings are large which is unusual for fast food. The staff was super friendly. The biscuits are as good as I remember. I'd eat here again.

It def isn't bo time here. Tenders were drier than a bone. Mac and cheese was 1/10. Asked for ranch def didn't get it. Asked for a breakfast item and apparently they don't sell it all day. Even though it says how they serve breakfast all day. What's a girl gotta do for some sausage gravy.

The cashier was rude and acted like I grew an extra head when I asked what sauce they had for the chicken tenders--which by the way I ordered the "spicy" and I assure you, those were not spicy or fresh. Everything was precooked and waiting in cafeteria style heating trays on the front line. The restroom floor was slippery as if they mopped the restaurant with chicken grease. The iced tea was pretty good.

I used to look forward to crossing Mason-Dixon so I could stop at a Bojangles for their succulent fried chicken. It was better than any other fast food franchises in my part of the northeast. Loved the spicy crunch, dirty rice and their excellent biscuits. Not sure what happened, but they seem to have lost their Bojo recently. The chicken now sits around under hot lamps too long, losing its hot damn pizzazz. The biscuits are still aces, but who goes there just for that? So, we were hoping for better than we got. The shop was clean, and servers friendly, but without the former star of the show we left feeling disappointed.

I like to try Bojangle's when I see one. Up north where I live, Bojangle's locations are few and far between. So when I saw this one by the side of US-13 as I was traveling up the Delmarva peninsula, I just had to stop for lunch. Service here is very sweet and polite. I thought the fried chicken was rather good as well -- fresh with a crisp coating.

Always wanted to try Bojangles because I would always drive past them whenever I visited family in South Carolina. Right before I drove back up to NJ I just had to try it and ordered drumsticks and one thigh along with the biscuit, dirty rice, and their mashed potatoes. I wish I ate more because it was so good! Their dirty rice and mashed potatoes are delicious but I loved the seasoning on the fried chicken! The biscuits are incredibly soft as well! I hope to revisit this franchise soon! It's too good!

    Can't beat that name!

I ordered a ham and cheese biscuit at the drive thru, which is a pretty simple order. I got home and discovered they had left the ham off.

Blatant racist mocking by staff - unacceptable experience…read more I'm posting this after taking time to process what happened. In the moment, my priority was de-escalating and calming my father. I'm now documenting this clearly. Friday, April 24, ~1:15-1:25 PM My father ordered an iced vanilla latte and food at the kiosk. When our order was called, an employee said "we are out of vanilla" with no explanation. When I asked what options were available, she rolled her eyes, gave a dismissive response, and walked away. I asked for a refund. A second employee then stepped in and handled things professionally, explaining alternatives. I appreciate her. However, another employee approached us and repeatedly mocked us, saying: "Chong chong chong, are you guys fighting, what are you saying?" I asked what she meant, and she continued. My father, who is not fluent in English, was clearly uncomfortable and had to raise his voice to tell her to stop. This was unprovoked and unacceptable. For identification: the employee had a name tattoo on the inside of her right wrist (starting with "T," possibly "Tammi"). I expect management to take this seriously and address it. No customer should be treated this way.

We all agreed that we did not want to stop for fast food, which is all we kept seeing along the way. A road service sign led us to this restaurant and we couldnt be more thankful. Coming from NY, we rarely, if ever get authentic soul food, and were not going to pass up on this chance. Located in an unassuming strip mall, Kendall's Kountry Kitchen was a 40 seat adorable restaurant. When we arrived there was a large family party, but the rest of the restaurant was quite empty. After being seated right away, we saw as the restaurant slowly began to fill up. By the time we left, the enture place was full. Our waitress Jemiah (sorry if I am spelling that wrong) was so sweet and welcoming. Our orders for drinks and food were taken right after she introduced herself. We ordered 2 of the fried chicken meals and one pork chop dinner. Each came with two sides and cornbread. We all shared the sides and were able to all try the mashed potatoes, baked apples, collard greens (we got two orders-they were out of fried okra) macaroni and cheese and the corn pudding. All amazing! Our mains were all cooked to perfection, served piping hot and tasted great. The waitress explained that all meals were cooked to order and to expect about a 20 minute wait. (Just something to remember if you are in a rush). Thankfully we had plenty of time and must agree that this is a meal that should be savored and given a generous amount of time to consume. We left nothing on our plates! I also ordered a bread pudding to take home (stuffed from the meal) and enjoyed it on my way home. The food, hospitality and general vibe of this place was refreshing and not something we come across often living up north. We plan to make this an annual stop (to and from) our beach vacations.

Southern home cooking but no chicken livers, asked for fried catfish and was denied, asked for fried trout and again was turned down. Ty said whiting was available which I'm not a big fan of but ordered it. It came out nice & hot but she didn't offer any cocktail sauce nor tartar sauce. Mildly seasoned breading, nothing spectacular. My dinner party ordered pork chops and cheeseburger, both mediocre. Ty waited on the next table over and she didn't deny them catfish and gave them a choice of cocktail or tartar. When we asked for a refill, again she said they're out.... I normally don't like to pull a race card but I found it offensive she was more agreeable to the table with black patrons... 2 stars for service & atmosphere, 3 for food
