    Migas Taco Board

Celebrated my friends birthday dinner here! It was the best meal full of laughs and good times! The food was to die for! Guacamole is a must, made to order and plenty for everyone. Birthday shots for the group included a dried grasshopper which I was skeptical about but didn't actually taste like anything. We all shared a taco board where we picked 2 proteins and then made our own mini tacos. The whole meal was fantastic! The restaurant is super cute, pink lighting on the outside and a fun ambiance inside. Cannot wait to go back!

Came here around the holidays and they had beautiful Christmas decorations. Delicious Mexican food with a burst of flavor. The guacamole and chips is a must here! They make it fresh and the seasoning and ingredients together was really good. The chips were deep fried perfectly. I got the carne asada and although it was just a little pricey for the portion, it was worth it since it was so good. It tasted really authentic. I saw that the had taco boards which looked like they had a big spread, so I'll be back to try those. Their drinks were good too. I got the margarita and I loved it.

Located on the 12th S main strip, Fonda is a yummy Mexican restaurant. For starters, we tried the guacamole, which was freshly made and you can tell it's good avocados instead of the paste. Reallly good and highly recommend this! They also gave us salsa on the side which was yummy too. For entrees, I got the birria enchilada and if you like birria, I highly recommend this. Great portions and sauce and cheese ratios. It was so good and flavorful from the birria and enchiladas. It came out hottt. I tried the nonalcoholic drink called strawberry colada and it was a delicious strawberry piña colada without alcohol. They validate parking but be careful, it's not the lot directly next to it since that's taproom's lot. So it's the other lot and they will validate it inside.

This is a beautiful Mexican restaurant that is located in the 12 south area. This was my first time being here and I was invited by a friend for a special dining event. The inside is decorated really well and cozy. We were greeted quickly and advised where to sit. This was a fixed menu, so we had hosts walking around with food and drinks before the main course. Everything was more than excellent! The margarita was yummy, the food options were an amazing balance of flavors and presentation. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu! Do yourself a favor and get there soon.

This place is hopping! We had to get reservations at 8pm and it was still really busy. It was way to loud for conversation unless we yelled, so not a quiet dinner experience at all. Our server was nice, and also busy but got all our orders in quickly. The food was pretty good, my favorite was the fish tacos. The beet salad had an undisclosed other stuff in it (our guess was ither beets?) And definitely for those who like beets. The enchiladas lost a lot of the chicken flavor though the cheese. I give it three stars partially die to ambiance, and the other for being pretty decent food, but I don't know if I would go back for it. It's a decent place for a meal on 12 south, just know you probably won't be able to talk to your companion(s).

Christmas decorations welcomed you as you walk into restaurant. So pretty! No reservations and they seated as quickly. Tacos were fantastic, and the value couldn't be beat. Guacamole was so good! Great service & great vibe.

One of the great Mexican restaurant you can find in Nashville. They have warm and inviting atmosphere along with friendly service. Their food is pretty authentic and so fresh. I loved the guacamole. I consider the presentation of food to be important and they were spot on with that. Try their unique cocktails.

Really good, small platesMexican food with very good service, a full bar, and validated parking in the rear, but reservations recommended. The fish tacos are a delight, with very lightly breaded and fried fish. The Tostadas Atún are just a little spicy, and have lots of chunks of tuna. It's a smaller restaurant, and a little loud.

We went for the Thanksgiving Buffet. A mexican style buffet sounded like a great alternative to the traditional meals served that day. Parking was simple. You park in the back of the building (signs are there to guide you), you scan the QR code and complete that process by entering in your license plate and paying, then when you go inside they will be able to instantly refund you the entire amount. The servers here are great - they always came back around when we needed stuff. Their tortilla chips and salsa was awesome, loved the fresh made chips! The buffet was a good value for our money - plenty to choose from and it was all delicious. I recommend!

Fonda is really great in many ways. I've been there a couple of times. I love the drinks, but give us a happy hour! Food is solid. Some of my favorites are the guacamole, the birria quesadillas, and the taquitos (spicy). Service is always good. But! They have a gnat problem. The beautiful space is compromised by this. I thought maybe just a fluke the first time, but no, it happened again months later. I just don't like swatting bugs away when I'm eating indoors. I hope they can get this resolved soon.

Customers were able to socialize comfortably while dining. Indoor and outdoor seating were options. The flavor of the food was average. Nothing stood out other than my Playa Colada (alcoholic beverage).

Holy cow. Go hungry because it's a lot of amazing food. The carne asada taco board and pollo tinga enchiladas and guacamole were all great. Service was fantastic. Restaurant validates parking for 2 hours, making it a great option for a date night.

This place has such a vibrant and social atmosphere with comfy seating, fresh air, lots of food, drink and apps to choose from. The staff was friendly and our server, Evan T, was fantastic!! The guac is a must served with fresh, warm chips! Four of us loved every dish and cocktail and wish we could have gone back. After your meal, stroll down the street and check out the sidewalk shopping!

Despite the hotel setting, it feels a bit more 'for the locals' than lower Broad does these days. So whether you are entertaining out of town guests or want to have drinks Downtown, this just might be the spot you're looking for. I had something to celebrate and I wanted to do so in style. It was mid-spring and the weather was perfect so I wanted to take advantage of the short window. I took a ride share to the hotel bc ain't no one got time for Downtown parking rates and bee-lined it to the Lou/Na elevator at the back of the lobby. Once I hit the rooftop, my Friday night began. The atmosphere is every bit as dark, moody (in a good way) and smartly-illuminated as expected. Since I was here for views and good weather, I asked the hostess for an outdoor table. She obliged and I was soon perched along the edge of the roof, staring into the twinkling lights of our ever-expanding skyline. It was well-past the dinner hour and I was craving something sweet. After chatting with my helpful server, I decided on the creme brulee and an espresso martini. Both were excellent. The brulee had a perfect crust and delectable custard that paired well with the martini that veered closer to dry than sweet. I appreciated that. It showed effort went into making the cocktail. I was in my own head so I minded my business and didn't do too much people watching. Despite the time of year and good weather, the roof wasn't too packed. It wasn't empty but it wasn't bustling. That was fine by me but I'm sure the management would disagree. I would point out that Lou/Na has gotten even more popular since when I visited so I'm confident that the crowd on good weather nights has increased. If that's your thing, head over on a Friday. If not, check it out during the week. But if well-made cocktails in a beautiful environment outside the madness of Lower Broad but still Downtown is on your radar, you know where you need to go and what to do. Lou/Na should be in your rotation.

The flavor was really well balanced! I had just the right amount of spice without being overwhelming, paired with a subtle sweetness that made it super enjoyable to keep eating. It came out on a sizzling plate, which not only kept everything hot but also added a nice touch to the presentation and overall experience. The portion size was very generous, which I always appreciate. I ended up having enough leftovers for lunch the next day, and it held up really well! The restaurant itself was clean and had a nice, comfortable atmosphere. Nothing over the top, but definitely a place you can sit down and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. That said, the experience wasn't perfect. The side dishes were a bit limited compared to what I was expecting, especially if you're used to a wider variety. Service was also on the slower side. The staff was friendly and polite, but it did take a few attempts to get their attention when I needed a water refill or wanted a to-go box. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but it's something that could definitely be improved. Overall, I'd still recommend Onda if you're looking for flavorful Korean dishes and generous portions. Just be prepared for a more relaxed pace of service. I'd come back again, especially for that spicy pork bulgogi!
