Wagyu Ancho Ribeye 24oz
Gerald N.

2.75 stars. It was slightly below average especially given its reputation. Service was disjointed as servers switched mid dinner. They were friendly though but sometimes hard to flag down. Menu options were average. 1. Sea bass - Good sized portion. A bit overcooked but it was still flavorful given the fish. 2. Wagyu Ribeye (Ancho) - Split between three people. Good portion size. Comes on a salt block to keep cooking. Some pieces were medium well and some were the medium as ordered. 3. Creme Brulee Cheesecake - 10/10 here. I would come back only for this cheesecake. They did a great job being creative and loading it with flavor and good cheesecake texture. 4. Lava cake - Ice cream melted way too fast. Cake was soggy. "Lava" was too thick. Had way better versions elsewhere. 5. Creme brulee - Terrible. Probably one of the worst ones I've had. The shell was too thick. Didn't crack when you hit the spoon on top. The cream was too thick and tasted like egg yolk. Definitely skip this one. Overall, not a great first impression besides the Creme Brulee Cheesecake. I'd come back just for that but never coming back on my own for the rest.

I love me a good rodizio. I mean LOVE. Fogo de Chao opened near me and had been wanting to go. My wife is awesome and took me for my birthday recently. We were promptly seated and the waitress was great about explaining how things worked in terms of their menu. Always appreciate this since rodizio places have their nuance with what is or isn't included, etc. They have two rodizio experiences. Biggest differences are that the less expensive version does not include a starter/appetizer or dessert. Otherwise, both include the salad bar which has hot and cold offerings like rice, beans, salad, cheese, etc. PLUS yuca, fried bananas, and mashed potatoes served to your table with your meal. The cuts of meat served were delicious. Bacon wrapped sirolin, filet, chicken thigh, sausage, among others. What was hard to decipher sometimes was if they had other cuts of meat to offer and we didn't know about them? Would be nice to know exactly what we should expect to see/get so that we can plan accordingly if you will. Needless to say, my wife and I were in a food coma when we were done. Everything was so delicious. We ordered crab cake as our starter and it was really good. The mayo it was served with was particularly good. My 4-star review is honestly nitpicking at the knowledge of the meat selection, nothing more. The service was great. Staff were all super friendly and paid attention to everyone (it was definitely a busy evening when we went).

Service was not good. The waiter forgot about the second drink that was ordered. The food is just ok. We got the wagyu ribeye and the Chilean sea bass. The ribeye was yummy but the Chilean sea bass was mediocre. The cheesecake brulee was amazing because of the crunchy coating. . Molten chocolate cake was just ok and the creme brulee tasted weird,we didn't even eat it Bec it tasted like scrambled egg.

I had a slightly different experience at this Fogo de Chao branch, compared to the one in DC. I would say the occupancy matters A LOT when it comes down to service. We came on a Saturday evening and it was PACKED. We even put our reservation down on OpenTable for 7, and eventually got seated by 8:10p even though they confirmed the times with us over the phone :( Once we were seated at a makeshift table, the meat service was even slower. Our cards were flipped green but we were consistently overlooked by the perimeter tables, and at some point had to flag down a waiter to get any meat. I would rate the food fantastically. The self serve bar is complete, and pairs well with all the menu items. Even when we were able to get some meat, it was cooked well. I do understand that a busy dinner time can impact service, but it definitely didn't leave a good impression, especially when we reserved weeks in advance for a birthday. I would recommend coming here, but on a less crowded day if you're able.

Another amazing event with Nirala and Bruno. Sameh was attentive and helpful. Enjoyed the new champagne that they're offering and as always, the food was delicious.

Beautiful restaurant, attentive service, and delicious food with generous servings. I was invited by a friend who has dined at this location many times. She knew exactly what would make my first experience memorable which involved ordering the full churrasco. All types and cuts of meat continued to be freshly carved at our table as long as we had room in our stomach to fit it in. The meat just kept coming, and I'm talking ribeye, roasted chicken, lamb chops, sirloin, etc. I was told to bring my appetite, yet I remained unprepared for what was to come and also what kept coming. Prior to the churrasco, we enjoyed the market table which was like a mini market of fruits, veggies, salads and a variety of fixings. One could fill up just on that alone, but then you would miss out on the best part. And for dessert, I ordered their crème brulee. Everything was very good; some of the meats I enjoyed more than others, but how great it was to be offered so many options. I look forward to returning and doing it all over again.

We made reservations for our party of 6 for a birthday celebration. The vibes were cozy in the space we were seated. We opted for the full churrasco experience for each of us. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately the drink service took a lengthy amount of time and we had to ask for updates on our drinks a few times. The salad bar offered a wide variety of items, but it's a little chaotic with the amount of people. The included sides were a nice touch. The churrasco experience was enjoyable overall, but the downside was the repetitive selections. If you prefer your steak cooked to a specific temperature, you might just have to accept whatever they serve. I will also note desserts were delicious.

Another great experience in the same week! This time, came for a brunch on Saturday and had a great time! Samuel was absolutely awesome and so attentive. Management is also very people friendly and accessible for a restaurant. Stephen (not sure on the spelling) spends time walking to every table, speaking to everyone. I enjoy the service from everyone and I will continue to come back. Bruno is awesome as well!

Very inviting when you first walk in, pretty Christmas tree, sitting area with great bar and big comfy chairs and places to sit. We were seated immediately and waiter came promptly which I didn't expect due to the crowds or the reviews I read in the car on the way there. We're told to go to the market table, a large charcuterie of sorts, everything from meats & cheeses, to salmon & couscous and prepared salads to soup. They give you cards with red (no) and green (yes) on either side to let the servers know if you'd like meat or not. The servers come continuously with huge skewers, that they cut meats from & you peel onto your plate; beef cuts like Picanha (sirloin), Filet Mignon, Alcatra (top sirloin), Beef Ancho (ribeye), and Fraldinha (flank steak), alongside pork, lamb, and chicken (bacon wrapped). The Picanha is their signature cut - melted in my mouth, so delicious and flavorful. That was my favorite, followed by the lamb and the chicken (which surprised me, I usually never like chicken, this was bacon wrapped and so juicy) They also came with pork belly, although about to burst at the seams I tried it, so good & glad I did, tender and juicy. We had our neice with us who loved the experience so much, she is 8. Aside from the beef (all of it) her favorite was the dragon fruit from the market table (she ate most of what was there) I'd go back, skip the market table and go for the meats, it's the only way you'd get the bang for your buck. The drinks were also good. They did bring garlic mashed potatoes, yuca and caramelized bananas, along with cheese bread to the table.

This was my first visit to Fogo de Chão so I can't compare to other locations but I have been to other Rodizio restaurants in the past. I would say that for someone that isn't a huge meat eater, the options here were more than sufficient. I booked a reservation when they had the option for a discounted menu, "Best of Brazil," in which you don't get all of the premium cuts but honestly it was more than enough for my group and me. We got to try lots of different meats and I felt it was good quality and worth it for the price. However, looking at the full price cost, I am not sure that I would come back because it doesn't seem that it is worth it. The salad bar/"Market Table" is smaller than other places I have been to, but again, I think there were still more options than most people would know what to do with. I like the vibe here and all of the staff was super nice!

Hands-down, one of the best Brazilian steakhouse in the world I had an amazing time here the food is incredible. The vibe is amazing. My only complaint was they kept forgetting things that we asked for such as a sauce on a side, and it was a bit of a delay with our drinks however, this is a place that is full of quality and you know what to expect every time you get here, can't wait to be back. Thanks for making my fiancé's birthday so memorable.

We started with drinks, several of us ordered the caipirinhas, and they were delicious. The salad bar offered a wide variety of options, though I do wish there had been more fruit selections. Service throughout the evening was excellent. Our party went with the unlimited churrasco experience, which was fun and interactive. You are given a coaster with red and green sides to signal when you want more or when to pause. The meat selection was impressive, with a steady flow of picanha (prime sirloin), filet mignon, ribeye, garlic steak, chicken, pork, lamb chops, and sausage, all well-seasoned and flavorful. My personal favorite was the pork belly, especially with the honey drizzle, such a perfect combination. My least favorite was probably the chicken, I thought it was a little bland and needed more seasoning. I do wish shrimp had been included in the churrasco rotation, but it is available to order separately. Our main server, Mary, along with the rest of the staff, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and efficient. To end the night, we tried several desserts: key lime pie, tres leches, brulee cheesecake, and molten lava cake, every single one was a hit. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I would definitely come back again.

We requested specific pieces from Angel and other waiters, where what we requested never came. The servers bringing the meats around also stopped coming to our table despite our mark displaying "Yes, Please" for over half an hour. At the end no additional meats ever made its round to us, so we decided to leave. This was by far the worse experience we ever had at Fogo de Chao. Most other times, we would be completely satisfied where were offered more than enough, and the selections would be fresh. In the photos below, you can see how unripe the pineapple and papaya both were, with the salad dishes being displayed almost empty without being refilled. We came at 5pm on a Tuesday so they really weren't that busy, with at most 6 tables. We mentioned the issue with the overly salty cuts of meat to Angel, but ultimately nothing was done about it. Overall, this experience unfortunately tarnished the great reputation of other Fogo de Chaos, which will make us second guess next time we think about having Brazilian steakhouse. This was doubly unfortunate because the restaurant itself looked so classy, warm, and welcoming, with so much potential of providing such an elegant dining experience...which sadly wasn't the case for my family. Thus, I cannot in good conscience recommend this branch of Fogo de Chao.. Thank you for reading and best of luck!

This is either my 2nd or 3rd review!…read more This is an updatd review from Dec 7th 2025!! We went for brunch for my daughter's 28th birthday. It was 6 of us that dined. We had called the day before to ask if they could please make sure they had us in the main buffet room as we had two handicapped seniors with us. We were told not a problem. When we showed up we were taken to the table and greeted by our very sweet and attentive server Shelby. She also had a helper named Natalie that was also super kind. My parents had never been so they tried a bit of this and a bit of that. Dad loves fish so he had the fresh Ahi Tuna/salmon served at the salad bar as well as the served grilled shrimp. Mom had breakfast food to start and finished with beef rib and pineapple. I had a bit of this and that and was super stuffed. The mango chicken that comes around was delicious as well. I have to say the pineapple is a fan favorite of ours. The fellas that come around were super quick and ready to serve you up delicious yums. Jake and Justin were super friendly and kept our bellies full. After we were pretty much finished dining Shelby brought out a cute plate that said Happy birthday and had a dish of ice-cream for my daughter. I have to say this restaurant maintains a great atmosphere, great food offerings and a wonderful staff. I highly recommend to come for any gathering. Added a new pic.

Traditional Brazilian barbecue uses coarse salt on the meat that is cooked over an open flame or direct heat source. None of the meat was seasoned this way. 2) Farofa (unforgivable oversight for Brazilians). 3) Lightly breaded, fried bananas - a churrascaria staple. 4) Picanha com alho (garlic) - They served a garlic covered cheaper piece of meat. 5) Creme de Papaya com Cassis. Service was efficient, and they ran a special for people celebrating their birthday. The birthday person gets their main course for free. 20% tip was automatically added. Our server reminded us that was divided between them and other staff and pointed out the space where we could add an additional tip. Ambiance was traditional Brazilian steakhouse, with a small salad bar with hot food selections, as well. Conclusion: If you want an authentic Brazilian Steakhouse / Churrascaria experience, you're better off driving into Philadelphia, to King of Prussia, or Easton where you can still find it. It's worth the drive at this price point.

Everything was so colorful, delish and healthful, making me relatively guilt-free while committing gluttony. There were so many recipes I rarely have the opportunity to experience, yet here they were - all at the same bar. I particularly enjoyed the roasted zucchini, pickled tomato, greens with roasted pears, and persimmons. For those who require animal protein, smoked salmon and chicken salad were available, as well as pork at the Feijoda bar. Speaking of which, I wasn't a fan of that section. The Feijoda was too salty while the lentil soup was too bland. The ambiance was elegant and staff were professional. There were a few issues for me personally: none of the staff replenishing the food spoke English, they had to correct my bill twice, and the person who answered my call was scripted and mechanical - I might as well talk to a bot.

I didn't want to fill up on too much salad as I was here for the meats. For the most part, the selection of carved meat was impressive. The gauchos came around with many different selections while we were displaying green. They were very knowledgeable and generous with the portions. My only issues were that it took our server a while to get our first round of ice tea and waters. This lapse in service didn't last long as she greatly improved as time went on. The chicken wrapped in bacon was extremely dry and it probably should not have been served? A few minutes after, the manager came over to our table to ask if everything was ok. I mentioned that the chicken was dry and within five or so minutes, a gaucho brought over a fresh skewer of bacon wrapped chicken. Lastly, the pão de queijo ( cheese bread) was at room temperature. I still ate it but probably would have tasted better if it was served warm? My friend also received a nice piece of complementary birthday cake. For the most part, I definitely will return as I enjoyed both the salad bar and the meats. I also forgot to take pictures and will make sure to do so on my next visit. There was the option for Rodizio (endless table side meat with the buffet as well) or Boardwalk which is just the buffet. We chose to do the Rodizio all 3 of us. The buffet, was underwhelming. As a positive I will say each item we grabbed from the buffet was absolutely delicious, the correct temperature, and FRESH! They refill their boardwalk bar constantly. The buffet just didn't have many options. There were 2 tables basically side by side. One hot side where there was garlic broccoli, brown sugar carrots, mac and cheese, beans, rice, mash potatoes, and sweet potatoes, shrimp (which my wife adored) etc. In the middle a very amazing yucca stew. Then cold side had regular salad bar options, tomatoes, cheeses, lettuce, dressing, potato salad, pesto pasta, etc. Maybe if we went with the boardwalk option which was $39 something we would have been fully satisfied. However we did pay $70 each for the Rodizio. There were 13 meats, we were there for 2 hours and didn't try all the meats. The meats came pretty slowly with big breaks in between and some cuts of meat went right by us over and over. As well my husband and I requested medium rare, and consistently were offered well done or very well done meat. As well some of the meat was under seasoned in some cases. Some of the meat when it was actually medium rare was absolutely phenomenal, like the lamb with rosemary was all of our favorite. Again to some positives, the owner was very involved, walking around and asking everyone how they were, the entire staff was friendly. The tables were cute with candles in the middle, and the atmosphere was cozy. The place isn't very big so as more people fill in it gets a bit loud and hard to hear your gaucho say what meat they are offering, but they kindly repeated for me over and over despite my terrible hearing. The drinks seem to be amazing, we tried both sangrias white and red, and then got a pitcher we ended up taking most of home (yes they let you!). Which I thought was awesome, and the sangria is to die for! Like I said the meat was slow and inconsistent, but worse was our server, which I will not name because she was a teen and maybe this is her first job, but she consistently walked past us without checking in. Finally we flagged her down to beg for a water refill, and she refilled half the rooms water and stood talking in the kitchen for a bit, before getting us any. Now lastly to dessert. I got the liquor chocolate cake, it was delicious, but in my opinion quite small, though admittedly I'm a fat girl, so I like a good size dessert. My wife also got a dessert, the flan, she also complained it was small. They also only put like 3 strawberries on each which was disappointing because it enhanced the flavor a lot. All in all, it's a fun experience. 10/10 for kindness and vibes. 9/10 for the quality of the buffet. 7/10 for buffet variety 5 or less really, for actual service. Our bill was for three rodizios, two desserts, one beer, one glass white sangria, one glass red sangria, and a pitcher of white sangria. Mind you it was a Tuesday and they do sales of almost half price on sangria by the glass and pitcher. Our bill came out to about $308. I don't feel our experience met expectations. When we go out for anniversaries we drop $300 or more without thought and a good tip, (special occasions we go all out). So we considered if we liked this place coming back for our anniversary, but I wouldn't bother. I left a small tip for the lack of service, and would never go back. I still would recommend it to others if they have patience, maybe speak up more than I did about meat preference, and just want the experience. Go and see for yourself, but just keep in mind to be vocal about preferences, and ready to wait.

I got 2 orders of their bbq chicken with rice and I chose black beans instead of pinto beans. Hot sauces are a must. The portions are a nice size. The chicken was grilled and then finished in the oven. I was watching them cook it while I waited. The grilled chicken had good flavor. The rice and beans were very good too. The staff was nice. They do have a dining room with some seating. There is street parking, and small parking lot for a few cars to park Hamilton BBQ has a nice variety to chose from on their menu. All in all it was pretty good. (Beware if you use a Credit Card they will charge you an additional 3% on your order. )

They had a wide variety of food, all ranging from beef, pork, chicken, seafood, and some vegetarian options. They had an extensive wine menu, and my boyfriend joyfully enjoyed a glass of wine. I got the brazilian fried chicken, which was extremely flavorful, and i was surprised there wasn't any breading on the chicken as typical fried chicken does. I much preferred the no-breading style, which I think is the Brazilian way. I would have preferred a boneless dish, as there were quite a few pieces with bones, and it was pretty oily at the bottom of the dish. It came with two very large sides, and totaled around $25. 100% would recommend this dish, but I do think at a lower price point, this could make do with just one side, instead of two, as the main dish was quite large enough to fill me up. My favorite part of this meal was the garlic butter bread that they provide for free. It comes out extremely fresh with lots of chopped up garlic, which is my favorite part of garlic bread. It was a great way to start the dinner off. The service was great and the waiters were extremely attentive. They regularly checked up on how we felt about the food and filled up our drinks. The restaurant was pretty empty while we were dining, but the space was laid out very nicely and the decor was beautiful. Would come again if it wasn't so far!
