Fogglifter has great coffee and breakfast items. I've had the eggs Benedict a couple of times. The first time the eggs were over poached but they made up for it the next time with perfectly poached eggs with a creamy yolk. The hollandaise sauce was seasoned well and just coated the eggs and toppings. Their cappuccinos are made well and not at all watery like so many I've had at other places. Hubby had the McCall scramble with sausage and said it was tasty. Their croissant breakfast sandwich is also delicious and just the right size. You order at the counter and bus your own table if you're dining inside or on the patio. They deliver your order to your table if you're dining in. It can get quite busy inside, especially if people like up inside of the restaurant. I've seen the staff ask people to line up outside to respect the diners who are sitting at the inside tables. I think they should have a sign instructing people to line up outside. It would be so much better for all and help to Improve the ambiance. There's always a line and it's totally worth the wait.

We loved Fogglifter, the food and coffee were the best we've had for breakfast in McCall so far. Very small and homey. The breakfast burrito is big, so order appropriately. Service was very good and quick!

All of the food was amazing. One of my favorite eggs Benedict thus far!! I loved the outdoor seating area, the weather was beautiful and there were puppies everywhere. The servers were all so sweet and adorable. Would recommend!!!

LOVE Fogglifter Cafe! We are morning regulars when we come to town. Cute cafe central to downtown McCall. We come for a quick breakfast and coffee. Our favorite is the eggs benedict - the hollandaise sauce is excellent! They are quick and hospitable. Can't wait for our next visit back!

Fun little corner cafe in downtown. We came on a super busy day but luckily the line went fast, while also finding a table big enough for our group. Food came out quick, and was so refreshing. I had the French toast with fruit and bacon/eggs. I contemplated purchasing another plate because it was so good -- I had to hold myself back! My friends also enjoyed their plates and would come back again. Definitely recommend this place if you're visiting.

Expect a crowd since there aren't a ton of coffee shops in town! A few things rolling in my head that I wish I knew before entering: 1. Yes, you counter order and get a number for your table (if you can find a table). 2. You get your own silverware at a station near the counter. 3. Yes, you bus your own table and put your dishes in the same spot as the silverware location. 4. Yes they have wi-fi (not password protected) but it barely works, if it works at all. It seems to be inconsistent. I was a bit taken back with my $13.00 breakfast burrito showed to my table (pictured). I thought the price for something so simple was on the high side. While it is definitely on the high end for what you get, I was pleasantly surprised. I did the classic judging a book by its cover scenario. Don't judge this book until you read it (or eat it!!). I am not sure I will be back often (because prices and because it gets so busy) but I will make this place my extra special treat from-time-to-time. It is so busy I don't feel like this is a place someone can stay and relax. People watch you eat until you are done (so they can swoop in for your table). Excellent stop for a coffee and a quick bite.

On a rainy Thursday afternoon, we found ourselves with a an hour or so to kill before the shops opened. With empty stomachs we stumbled into Fogglifter and were immediately greeted with smiling faces and the smell of freshly brewed coffee. Absolutely delicious coffee and drinks, fluffy eggs, tasty pastries, and more! We had the breakfast burrito and holy heck, YUM! A tasty treat from start to finish. They heated up the sweet pastries too! And kids portions are perfectly sized. Seating is first come and in sunny days they have a lovely outdoor patio. This spot is a "do not miss" if you find yourself in McCall! I already miss this place and would be a regular if I lived here!

The coffee is good but avoid breakfast. Both the huevos rancheros and breakfast burrito were awful. They use canned refried beans and an overwhelming amount of cheese. The corn tortilla underneath was raw as well. Terrible breakfast items. There are several other places in town that do it better.

Great coffee! Two shots and a cup of French Press black delicious! Fantastic biscuits and gravy, just enough sausage in the gravy for me and not too much for the wife to enjoy also. Gotta try the eggs Benedict next time! Friendly service and plenty of room to sit and eat. read more

Came here for breakfast Saturday morning. The place was pretty busy, but we were able to find a table. You order at the counter, they give you a number, and you find a table. We ordered: - Eggs Benny with smoked salmon and asparagus $10.95 - Side of hash browns (Benny didn't come with it) - Breakfast Sandwich with a side of fruit - Poached eggs and bacon - Iced Americano I had the Benny and I thought it was delicious! Their coffee cake looked delicious too, but I held off on ordering it cuz I thought it was too much food. My friends enjoyed their food too. Cute breakfast spot, I would definitely come back here! And also reasonably priced. read more

A low point in my 5th trip/vacation in McCall. My wife & l stopped for a mocha (No whip, but they added) and Jalapeno bagel. No Jalapeno, so switched to Asiago bagel. Mentioned last time I got a Jalapeno bagel, they labeled it JAP... Bring of Japanese descent, it was a little offensive. This time is asked they label Jalapeno bagels as JAL, and they were annoyed. Simple request for civility. I overheard their condescending remarks. Bad attitude for workers that have a job due to locals and tourists. I was kinda embarrassed for them, for how they all acted. I will not be back. There are plenty of other places to spend my money and time. read more

Disappointed. I searched this place out because it came recommended and their online menus had things I could eat. When I arrived they were out of most things. This morning every single item on their menu had flour. The woman at the counter was rude about explaining it and didn't listen to what I was asking. Just beware that their actual menu may not match what is online. read more

This place is adorable and talk about customer service!! So friendly and accommodating, we were here on a Sunday and it was busy. The credit card machine malfunctioned, and they said don't worry about it, breakfast is on us!! This just doesn't happen, and I found it really sweet/kind! I had the traditional eggs benny, and the eggs were cooked to perfection! They also have amazing coffee, chia, etc. I had the bourbon carmel cider...which was the special, and it was really yummy! Dont be discouraged if you see a line out the door, this is an order at the counter place, and they are pretty fast about getting your food out. I would definitely eat here again! read more

This was a great little place to have breakfast. Good food, friendly staff, nice vibe to the place. Four stars instead of five because the egg yolks in my Benedict weren't runny at all, but cooked solid. Great taste, but it's not the same without runny yolks! read more

With a kid up really early, we wanted to snag some joe to get our eyes open while we took a stroll around downtown. With exceptional reviews, and no line, we popped in before 0700 to snag my drink of choice, an americano with a dash of cream and Irish Cream syrup, and the husbands drink, a black coffee, and we were not disappointed. With them limiting their menu to breakfast, face coverings required (and available) and sanitizer available, outdoor seating only, well marked social distancing and the request that only one member of the party come in to order, they are taking COVID seriously and guaranteed our business! With the coffee, it was superb especially the fact my americano was hot hot hot, just the way I like it especially in the chilly morning. We loved it so much we went back again before 0700 for another round of caffeine! Def a must go to and a fabulous place, especially early before it gets too busy!!! read more

Sooooo cute! I can't believe I just went here for the first time. The Vibe- My friends and I stopped in here last week before heading back down the mountain from a fun little lake trip. Stopping here was the perfect way to finish off our mini-getaway! This sweet little cafe takes the charm that McCall possesses to a whole new level! I'm a sucker for good customer service, charming atmosphere, and locally owned coffee shops, so this place made my heart sing. Drinks/Food- I ordered a simple drip coffee and dressed it up with some raw sugar and cream (as per usual). The brew they served was exactly what my taste buds wanted. I didn't order anything to eat, but a few people from my group did and they all enjoyed what they had. (I was envious of my friend who ordered a breakfast burrito--it looked fantastic!) My Favorite Part- The guy working behind the counter was a riot! He was so personable and funny. He didn't have a shpeal that he repeated to each customer but approached his conversation with each customer uniquely. It was so refreshing to have a conversation with someone in customer service that didn't feel primarily transactional. Kudos to you, man behind the counter! You are a breath of fresh air. read more

There's usually a line here and for good reason... it's good. But, the other line inside is the long one after you order but everything is made to order...so I get it. It's usually worth the wait until you really just can't anymore. One gentleman who had been waiting only 15 minutes to my 25, asked a food runner how much longer because " his wife was waiting with the kids". Another woman alone holding a 10 month old and no seat told the room she'd been waiting 30 minutes already. Runner checks, 15 more minutes. Man says I'll come back after I check in my wife, gentleman comes from the kitchen apologizing and offering pastries and juice, anything to make the wait more palatable, for him. At 40 minutes and my family has launched the boat and is waiting, I say to MEGAN at the counter " I'm sorry I simply must go, can I just have a refund ($12.87 for one burrito) please. No, she says. "You'll have to come back at the end of the day, I can't get in the cash register" pointing to the long line behind it. Not sure if the stark difference in how this tall white guy was treated compared to me (I'm short, female, middle age-ish), or the complete lack of any apology or willingness to simply hand me $13, I paid cash in the first place. Appears Megan has been featured in reviews here before so I thought it was worse mentioning. read more

I heard Fogglifter is the most popular place for breakfast and lunch. I spent the 4th of July in McCall and decided to stop in for breakfast. There's tons of coffee and food selections. I had the breakfast sausage burrito and it was amazing. Since it's so popular expect a long line unless you come early. They also have limited seating but it's totally worth the wait. The service is fast and they have friendly staff. I will definitely be returning when I return to McCall. read more

Great place to chill with a cup of coffee made your own way if you get yourself a cozy spot to sit and people watch that is. I had the avocado toast. They did it up in a tasty way. Nice in the summer with outside seating and when you can bring your four-legged friends. read more

The fogglifter is a great place for coffee and breakfast. Get the coffee you like your way and a wide selection of well-prepared breakfast food. Just know that if you go anytime close to normal breakfast hours this place will be packed and if you want a table, you'll be waiting a while. The staff are friendly and eager to help and the coffee is delicious. The veggie scramble is big and hearty. They do a great job with all eggs only complaint was the bacon, it was paper thin and kind of flavorless. The decor is nice and you get a hometown feel when you come in. If you can get a seat by the window it is nice but anywhere you sit you can see out a window. My recommendation is to get your food to go and give yourself a little room to enjoy it at your leisure. read more

This place was so good! Absolutely delicious. They have tons of vegetarian options which I loved and felt was hard to come by in this small town! I have the haveous rancheros and hot damn was it the best breakfast I have had in a very very long time. Seating is very limited here, however the food is worth the wait. Even if you get it togo it's worth it. Highly recommend. read more

Flew into the McCall airport and this downtown cafe came highly recommended by the wonderful staff at McCall Aviation. A simple but hearty menu with top notch service makes this a must for any visit to McCall. A nice breakfast and lunch selection should satisfy everyone. We had the Breakfast Tacos, banana bread, and Roasted Chicken Noodle soup. Deelish. All of it. Also, I had to have the Pumpkin Spice Latte, 'tis the season. Don't miss your chance for great ambience, delicious food and coffee! read more

We have been coming to McCall for years and have driven past the always packed Fogglifter. Packed = great right? It sure does! We decided to give it a shot on our way up to ski for a hardy breakfast and coffees. We walked into a quaint, feel like you're at home vibe and were promptly greeted by the barista working. She was super friendly and the restaurant was very clean! The ambiance reminded me of Dawson Taylor coffee in downtown Boise. Our food and coffee was out within ten minutes of ordering and it did not disappoint the tastebuds. If you're looking for a savory delight, you've found the right spot. If you're looking more for a sweet treat, sorry but you'll be disappointed. I highly recommend you check out the Fogglifter. The location alone is worth it for ease of access and on the way to everything. read more

When my 13 year old looked up at me and said this was the best bagel sandwich she'd ever had, I figured I'd write a review. Lunch isn't served until noon so we grabbed a tea and a black and white mocha and sat in some really cozy club chairs. I like my mochas a little less sweet and they made it just perfect for me, so nice after a night of backwoods camping. We moved to a two person table and ordered the Meghan and the Emily, and they were both fresh and tasty. We had the homemade creamy tomato soup and after a little salt and pepper it was quite possibly the best I've had. read more

Will not be back here, not much for food and would not fry me a egg only scrambled or poached, my scrambled where very blan and my bacon was so burnt that it crumbled when I picked it up. And coffee was fair, don't wast your money here just fry a egg at home. read more

The service was on top of all the duties, even though they were understaffed. The food was plentiful and cooked to perfection. I had the McCall omelet - which I could only eat half of, so it was leftovers. My son was raving about the Philly cheese sandwich and dirty tots. My daughter had a fried egg, with fruit and toast. The specialty coffees are also consistently good, as is the food! Wonderful eggs benedict! But keep in mind that the price is high given the quality and service. Excellent breakfast! We also ordered lattes, two breakfast sandwiches, a vegetable burrito, and a side of eggs, bacon, and sausage. Food was wonderful, and the coffee was fantastic! We would like to stop by while we are leaving town early in the morning if they were open a little earlier. I couldn't recommend it more! McCall really needed a casual coffee place that served food! Not to mention a place where you can see and be seen! They have a cute lounge with a kid table. I really appreciate the fact that Fogglifter thought of all the little ones! The Fogglifter serves delicious breakfast items (eggs benedict is amazing!) and yummy lunches. The coffee is so good.
