All of their baked goods are from Costco marked up $$$ - a few pieces are from Stacey's . Also, They don't toast their bagels. So make sure you ask them to do that if you want it that way. Came here this past Sunday for a couple caffeinated beverages...walking up pretty cool spot. Atmosphere has a cool Lake vibe to it with plenty of seating inside and out. I showed up right after they opened and this is a pretty popular spot so be patient if you walk up and there is a line. I waited not too long but by the time I left with my caffeine and e yet hung bagel in hand there was a solid 15 people in line. The staff was working their butts off and super friendly. My bagel was delicious and perfectly heated through. Coffee was very good as well and tasted super fresh. They do have a lot of other good options that looked good. Came here for breakfast Saturday morning. The place was pretty busy, but we were able to find a table. You order at the counter, they give you a number, and you find a table. We ordered: - Eggs Benny with smoked salmon and asparagus $10.95 - Side of hash browns (Benny didn't come with it) - Breakfast Sandwich with a side of fruit - Poached eggs and bacon - Iced Americano I had the Benny and I thought it was delicious! Their coffee cake looked delicious too, but I held off on ordering it cuz I thought it was too much food. My friends enjoyed their food too. Cute breakfast spot, I would definitely come back here! A low point in my 5th trip/vacation in McCall. My wife & l stopped for a mocha (No whip, but they added) and Jalapeno bagel. No Jalapeno, so switched to Asiago bagel. Mentioned last time I got a Jalapeno bagel, they labeled it JAP... Bring of Japanese descent, it was a little offensive. This time is asked they label Jalapeno bagels as JAL, and they were annoyed. Simple request for civility. I overheard their condescending remarks. Bad attitude for workers that have a job due to locals and tourists. I was kinda embarrassed for them, for how they all acted. Disappointed. I searched this place out because it came recommended and their online menus had things I could eat. When I arrived they were out of most things. This morning every single item on their menu had flour. The woman at the counter was rude about explaining it and didn't listen to what I was asking. I heard Fogglifter is the most popular place for breakfast and lunch. I spent the 4th of July in McCall and decided to stop in for breakfast. There's tons of coffee and food selections. I had the breakfast sausage burrito and it was amazing. Since it's so popular expect a long line unless you come early. They also have limited seating but it's totally worth the wait. This place is adorable and talk about customer service!! So friendly and accommodating, we were here on a Sunday and it was busy. The credit card machine malfunctioned, and they said don't worry about it, breakfast is on us!! This just doesn't happen, and I found it really sweet/kind! I had the traditional eggs benny, and the eggs were cooked to perfection! They also have amazing coffee, chia, etc. I had the bourbon carmel cider...which was the special, and it was really yummy! With a kid up really early, we wanted to snag some joe to get our eyes open while we took a stroll around downtown. With exceptional reviews, and no line, we popped in before 0700 to snag my drink of choice, an americano with a dash of cream and Irish Cream syrup, and the husbands drink, a black coffee, and we were not disappointed. With them limiting their menu to breakfast, face coverings required (and available) and sanitizer available, outdoor seating only, well marked social distancing and the request that only one member of the party come in to order, they are taking COVID seriously and guaranteed our business! With the coffee, it was superb especially the fact my americano was hot hot hot, just the way I like it especially in the chilly morning. We loved it so much we went back again before 0700 for another round of caffeine! Def a must go to and a fabulous place, especially early before it gets too busy!!! read more

I'm a sucker for good customer service, charming atmosphere, and locally owned coffee shops, so this place made my heart sing. Drinks/Food- I ordered a simple drip coffee and dressed it up with some raw sugar and cream (as per usual). The brew they served was exactly what my taste buds wanted. I didn't order anything to eat, but a few people from my group did and they all enjoyed what they had. (I was envious of my friend who ordered a breakfast burrito--it looked fantastic!) My Favorite Part- The guy working behind the counter was a riot! He was so personable and funny. He didn't have a shpeal that he repeated to each customer but approached his conversation with each customer uniquely. There's usually a line here and for good reason... it's good. But, the other line inside is the long one after you order but everything is made to order...so I get it. It's usually worth the wait until you really just can't anymore. One gentleman who had been waiting only 15 minutes to my 25, asked a food runner how much longer because " his wife was waiting with the kids". Another woman alone holding a 10 month old and no seat told the room she'd been waiting 30 minutes already. Runner checks, 15 more minutes. Man says I'll come back after I check in my wife, gentleman comes from the kitchen apologizing and offering pastries and juice, anything to make the wait more palatable, for him. At 40 minutes and my family has launched the boat and is waiting, I say to MEGAN at the counter " I'm sorry I simply must go, can I just have a refund ($12.87 for one burrito) please. No, she says. "You'll have to come back at the end of the day, I can't get in the cash register" pointing to the long line behind it. Not sure if the stark difference in how this tall white guy was treated compared to me (I'm short, female, middle age-ish), or the complete lack of any apology or willingness to simply hand me $13, I paid cash in the first place. The fogglifter is a great place for coffee and breakfast. Get the coffee you like your way and a wide selection of well-prepared​ breakfast food. Just know that if you go anytime close to normal breakfast hours this place will be packed and if you want a table, you'll be waiting a while. The staff are friendly and eager to help and the coffee is delicious. The veggie scramble is big and hearty. They do a great job with all eggs only complaint was the bacon, it was paper thin and kind of flavorless. The decor is nice and you get a hometown feel when you come in. If you can get a seat by the window it is nice but anywhere you sit you can see out a window. My recommendation is to get your food to go and give yourself a little room to enjoy it at your leisure. read more

We have been coming to McCall for years and have driven past the always packed Fogglifter. Packed = great right? It sure does! We decided to give it a shot on our way up to ski for a hardy breakfast and coffees. We walked into a quaint, feel like you're at home vibe and were promptly greeted by the barista working. She was super friendly and the restaurant was very clean! The ambiance reminded me of Dawson Taylor coffee in downtown Boise. Our food and coffee was out within ten minutes of ordering and it did not disappoint the tastebuds. If you're looking for a savory delight, you've found the right spot. If you're looking more for a sweet treat, sorry but you'll be disappointed. I highly recommend you check out the Fogglifter.
