Little bit of a walk to find it but great muffins and an amazing campfire hot cocoa and campfire latte.

Super cozy little coffee shop/breakfast spot! Prices are…read morebetter than most in this area, order at the counter and they bring your food, self bus table. I'm happy to do all those things! The food was good, nothing special, I had a sausage omelette and only found maybe 5 tiny pieces of sausage. Hubby got Bacon and eggs, simple but good.

The hollandaise sauce was seasoned well and just coated the eggs and toppings. Their cappuccinos are made well and not at all watery like so many I've had at other places. Hubby had the McCall scramble with sausage and said it was tasty. Their croissant breakfast sandwich is also delicious and just the right size. You order at the counter and bus your own table if you're dining inside or on the patio. They deliver your order to your table if you're dining in. It can get quite busy inside, especially if people like up inside of the restaurant. I've seen the staff ask people to line up outside to respect the diners who are sitting at the inside tables. I think they should have a sign instructing people to line up outside. It would be so much better for all and help to Improve the ambiance. There's always a line and it's totally worth the wait.

Fogglifter Cafe - Cute outdoor patio, weather, permitting. They even had a little table for kids! And I noticed dog treats by the register!

Wild Bill's seemed to us to be a typical small town restaurant…read more Everyday life stops in here to enjoy a meal on a regular basis. You can here people chatting with the waitress like they knew her all her life. Regular use and with plenty of local people eating there. We enjoyed our salads and hamburgers. The food took a little bit but we could see back into the kitchen where she was working hard to get it all together. I ordered an ice cream shake. I thought that it would be bigger than what came out but it was still good. The meat for the hamburger had a lot of flavor and we really enjoyed them. This is currently one of the few places to sit and have a meal. You can see the age in the building in the restaurant and the bar. There is a place opening almost across the street and you hate to see them compete but they might pull business away from this little place. They do need a touch of love on the inside of the restaurant, but as far as I am concerned if the food is still good, the salad bar still up and going and the ice cream shakes cold and creamy it will continue to be the local go to. Try them out.

I have never been made to feel more unwelcome or uncomfortable by the patrons or staff of any establishment anywhere else I've been. They will yell at you if you squeeze your beer can before returning it to the bar. I have no idea why. But they'll get so angry they have to leave the room. And the food is awful. I got sloppy joe meat on my tacos. And they clearly don't clean their fryer oil, ever. I don't know where the "Wild" in the name comes from, because a wild time is had by none at this miserable hole, ever. Avoid at all costs.

I was looking forward to trying The Roost because of a menu that I saw online…read more My first impression walking in the door was that there were more flies in the place than there were customers. Once we arrived, I discovered that the items that I wanted to try had been removed at some point by way of scratching them off each menu with a Sharpie. So we moved on and chose other items and we were promptly told that they had ran out of the ingredients to make a French Dip, no turkey for a Club sandwich, and no Jo-jo's. By now we were fairly annoyed but we decided to make the best of it and chose chicken strips and a club sandwich without the turkey. We waited what seemed like an unreasonably long time for these particular menu items but they did finally arrive. I'll start with my husband dinner. The chicken strips were obviously Banquet or Tyson Brand frozen strips that were overcooked into submission to the point of being inedible. The tater tots came out of the kitchen with absolutely no seasoning or salt of any kind. My Club sandwich upon first glance looked great. My biggest complaint was that I think the cook used a concrete trowel to add the mayo! The bread and meat has no ability to stay stationary. It was a landslide! Needless to say. We left without finishing either meal. We've been on a 22 day road trip and this was hands down the most disappointing restaurant we've been to in 4 states and the worst meal that we've had all 22 days.
