She has gone here for several years and was very happy with the service. She recently purchased two pairs of glasses that are terrible and this place is doing everything but the right thing to fix it! The glasses are way to big, they never fitted her for her glasses. she chose the style of frame but it looks like they gave her the showcase glasses. Once it was brought to their attention, instead of changing them they are doing everything not to!!! If you see how stupid and uncomfortable they reshaped these arms!!! Not to mention this has been going on for 1 month!!! You can see the date on the 1st picture. No thank you!, I will be going to a more reputable establishment and I suggest everyone else should too. They became very comfortable with her long term patronage and do not feel she deserves the best customer service.

Glasses come on time and they send text messages to keep us updated for appointments and pick ups. I, once stepped on my glasses two days after I got them and they replaced them at no charge. They even went above and beyond to give me an interim pair while I waited for my new specs. Anne Marie has been the manager for as long as I remember and she is amazing. Always greets me by my name and remembers my prescription even when I don't!!!!! Such a nice and friendly environment, rather than a factory that some medical practices have become.

Terrible Customer Service I needed to update my reading…read moreglasses and brought in a brand new pair of glasses. These glasses were new and were looked at before I left them, I received a call a week later that there was an issue and another call ten minutes later that they had broken them. According to them, the issue was mine since the frame was flimsy. When I complained I was told they were not responsible for frames brought into vision center, something they did not say initially. Now I am forced to bring another pair (why so they can break them) or now pair more for one of their glasses. I am really shocked and hurt by the lack of accountability. I will not be returning to this establishment. They do not deserve any stars!

Thanks to Dr. Ancona, I can now watch TV and knit without removing my glasses! In fact I'm wearing…read morethem right now while writing this review on a phone. I had a terrible experience at another optometrist in San Francisco which cost me a lot of money despite a second try without charge. Two prescriptions and they both gave me terrible headaches. One of my eyes can read up close and the other cannot and the one that can't read up close can see distance but the other eye that can read has poor distance vision. After speaking to a number of other businesses and not finding anyone I felt comfortable with, I decided to come home to Brooklyn and try Eyedrop Optique. Dr. Ancona was immediately warm and welcoming, (the kind of hospitality one finds only in New York City if you know what I mean) and of course I felt comfortable because of his ability to listen and understand the problem. He explained with helpful metaphor why the prescription I had in the glasses were not beneficial, and he gave me a choice of correction because of the differences in prescription in each eye. There were no choices with the other optometrist. Not only did he give me a prescription that doesn't give me headaches, he also had the tint of the lenses matched, which was not typical but something I had spent time perfecting on Affinity Photo. To top off the working prescription, due to COVID, I decided to return to San Francisco sooner before the glasses were ready. I offered paid packaging to have them shipped, but Dr. Ancona insisted he take care of it. They arrived today with a generous supply of satins and some lens cleaning solution. Thank you, Dr. Ancona!

If you are looking for a place to take care of your eyes, this place is the place to go…read more In a neighborhood as competitive and fast paced as Queens, it has proven most difficult to find a reliable place to order contacts and receive eye exams. I have been wearing glasses for a decade and contacts for nearly 8 years, visited nearly 20 optometrists and plenty of eyewear establishments, and I can say without hesitation that this store is on top of the game. The optometrist is by far the most friendly and thorough one I have met. Where others before have been hasty with eye exams and completed them under 15 minutes, Dr. Jeff continuously worked to make sure that the contacts were the best possible fit and provided me with the clearest vision. He patiently answered and explained astigmatism whereas other doctors had sufficed their answers to, "It means your cornea is football shaped." Other than the doctor, the man and the woman up front were equally as helpful and accommodating, providing me with different contacts to try on and were very clear about their prices and rates (which are very affordable). They take their time and answer all of your questions. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for any vision problems.
