From a huge baby/toddler play space to HUGE inflatable slides and bouncy castles big enough for parents and kids alike to the mini golf, Fun Dome has it all! The party room was spacious and the food was decent - much better than most kiddo play spaces! PS - Special thanks for having a quiet baby room where a Mama can turn off the lights and rock her baby to sleep or nurse in peace.

I know one poster said it was very hot inside but when I went it was the opposite. So who knows what you may get. The idea is good, separate room for kids to play, a couple of bouncy things and a mini golf, but unfortunately the end result really sucks. The mini golf needs major renovations, I almost tripped at one point on a piece of broken carpet. It's also very dirty. This makes the one at WEM look like Pebble Beach! The stars are just for the big and adequate room for doing the birthday cake and presents. It's great for maybe 3-5 years old I guess, who are easily entertained and can run around. But will get very boring for any kids older. There are better places to have a birthday, unless they do a major renovation and cleaning of the place, then maybe it has potential. Lastly, if you want to feel like what it is to drive on the moon. Look no further than the parking lot coming in. It's pot hole city!

The staff said "you need to take off your socks or just buy some socks" I don't wanna buy some overpriced $5 socks just to jump on a trampoline for one hour! Neither do I want to be barefoot because one of my friends had an infection on his foot once and didn't pay for socks. It says the facility is being cleaned lots, but never have I EVER seen eve 1 staff cleaning the trampolines. The trampolines were absolutely dirty. Would not recommend, will tell my friends never to come until this stupid rule is fixed.

My visit was courtesy of a coupon I got out of a book whose proceeds go towards acquiring service animals for wounded vets so kudos to Launchpad for being willing to take a bit of a hit financially to support a great cause! The facility itself is huge with several different games like basketball and dodge ball set up incase you or your little ones aren't into just straight jumping. You have to go in without socks which at first made me a bit leery but upon inspection it looks like they do a decent job of keeping the place tidy. My friend who is a major germaphobe even gave it her stamp of approval which I was not expecting. The staff are friendly (at least the three we deal with were pretty good) I even saw one playing with a little girl who looked to be four or five whose older brothers had left her behind to do their own things. Considering all the staff we saw were also teens that was way more involvement than I had been expecting and I was pleasantly surprised by it. I think my only real complaint with this place is how the timing of the jumps works. As a prior reviewer mentioned your time starts as soon as the band is printed and ignores the fact it takes a person a few minutes to take their shoes off and get a locker. I want to believe they are aware of that and it seemed that way as we weren't chased out right at 7 but it also was not busy when we went so they make be stricter in peak hours. All in all it was a cool experience and a great workout! Don't just take my word for it though...pile some friends and family into the car and go check it out for yourself. Happy jumping my friends!

Sooo many obstacles to try and I felt safe in my harness. The lesson to use the harness was fantastic and really easy - didn't catch/pinch my fingers at all. Wish staff were on the higher levels more often as we could not figure out how to work the unicycle but no staff in sight. 2 hours was perfect as by then we were physically exhausted. We did use the full 2 hours. We came exactly at opening hour and was totally worth it as we didn't have to wait for others to use the obstacles and didn't feel rushed. If you buy a ticket there is a bathroom in the campground you can use (need to buy a ticket so they tell you the bathroom code) before you climb. Lockers are quite small (but free) so leave what you can in the car - lots of parking, and it is free! Creekside Eats in the same park was really tasty and had tons of really nice outdoor seating. Our ticket (buy a ticket = get a discount to the other attractions) also came with a 15% discount on target golf which was so much fun too! (worth getting the unlimited buckets for 1 hour).

Closed toe shoes are checked. 2 hours playtime was plenty for us. Sent an email about our photos but never heard back. I signed the waiver and everything too. That's why I'm giving it only 2 stars. Maybe they didn't even snap the photos we asked them to. Staff looked bored and were not attentive. So it was hard to get their attention to take our photo. So I wonder if they even did. Also there was one person who had fallen from the monkey bars. He was just hanging there. His friends were trying to get help but nobody around. I finally found someone. He was on the same level too. Just not paying attention sadly.

The reason I'm giving them only four stars instead of five is because they don't have a separate room for the actual party space which means the kids are Right in the middle of the climbing area while having pizza for snacks and I found that a little uncomfortable. On the positive side the kids had a great time. They love learning a new skill and I think some of them are going to go back and try to get in some climbing this summer - nothing wrong with that. The learning curve is a little bit steep so you need to be prepared for that. The first bit of your booked time is learning not climbing. But again I'm OK with the kids learning a little bit! Try out this rock climbing gym for something a little different for your next party or corporate event.

Belay On! Climb! Climb On!…read more I cannot believe how much fun I had last night at Veritcally Inclined Rock Gym. I came with my hubby and two friends as part of Yelp's Fit Club in May! Now, first... let me admit, I think I'll enjoy it more and do even better when I lose half a backstreet boy (aka - post baby weight) but that didn't stop me from having a blast. Staffer, Robin, was helping out my group and he was GREAT! He encouraged us when we thought we couldn't go further and had a handy dandy laser pointer he'd shine up on the rocks to tell us which one he thought would be our next step up or grip for our hands. My hubby made it to the top twice in our 20 minute lesson and I was more than happy to get half way up the wall :-) I really enjoyed repelling down the wall like spider girl after climbing and the swinging/sitting mid air when taking a break was suprisingly fun! Be sure to ask for chalk if you're a newbie or nervous because it really helps you keep grip on those rocks! The facility was amazing with TONS of walls to climb. If you're more of a free climber or boulderer you're a little more limited here but they have tons of rope courses and a few walls you can climb without being harnassed. Bright, cheerful, and really supportive! I couldn't have asked for a better first time experience! I am definitely planning on returning and upping my personal best! They offer adult and kid friendly courses (10 week adult one is hightly recommended and kiddos even have summer camp options starting at 5 years and up). Vertically provides everything you need - just come in your workout gear and they will do the rest. They also offer all day passes where you can come climb, leave - go grab lunch, run an errand, and then come back and climb! My fellow Edmontonians, if you haven't checked out Vertically Inclined Rocky Gym, you are missing out!

Located on the west side and there was quite a bit of parking available. But it was crowded in the cafe and even the playhouse was quite busy. They said they limit the number of kids in the space and you have to pre-book your 60 minute time slot. 60 minutes flew by! And it felt like we didn't get quite enough time to explore and really appreciate all the little houses and details. But that must be the allure of going again! Our babies favourite activities at the playhouses were the slide and the little play restaurant. The slide was busy and tight quartered. But the little stairs and crash section at the bottom were well placed. The play restaurant was good great, they had all the condiments and so many cute plastic food items for a variety of kids to play with. I recall one kid yelling out 'Ice Cream, Ice Cream'. So fun! There was also costumes, a colouring station, suction building blocks, a wooden play body/operation table. The baby area also looked nice, cozy and with some great stimulating toys. It's a bit pricey and it's too bad it's only a 60 minute booking but in February they had a 1/2 price deal so for just under $5 I felt like that wasn't too bad to check it out. If you do get to check out the cafe I would recommend their signature blue Butterfly Pea latte- it was super sweet and creamy and delightful.

Cute little place in a residential neighbourhood, all-vegan, run by a friendly woman. I phoned in our order (curry tofu wrap and tofu scramble wrap) and came to pick it up half an hour later -- the woman sure was persistent over the phone about upselling me add-ons to our order. ;-) When we arrived, the wraps were ready, and we got some spanikopitas and coffees for the road. Both our wraps were very tasty and certainly filling. When it came time for our afternoon snacks, the spanikopitas turned out to be amazing. I never really liked spanikopitas before I went vegan, but this vegan rendition was amazing -- the tofu/spinach filling was delicious, the pastry was delectable but rather oily, and the dip it came with was the perfect accompaniment. This was a gem of a place and I'll definitely return when in Edmonton.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The reason that I'm not giving 5 star to them is because the venue didn't have a proper setup for work events. Projector was not bright enough. Lighting was very poor and we could not even read any of our notes. I believe this could be fixed easily if they would like to attract businesses to use this facility for their event and I hope next time I go there I see some improvements. They have pool tables, some arcade games, bowling, Lazer tag, billiards/pool, and a lounge. The lounge has events such as comedy or sports game nights, and it always ends up being a great time. Each time I have been there, the servers in the lounge have been great with checking up with you to see if they can assist with anything. Keep in mind if you want to go here with a group, it is best to book in advance, because this is a fairly busy location. That being said, each time i have gone here with one or two people, I haven't had to wait long at all. One side note; as this is a fairly busy place, the pool tables have had a lot of use and are not in the best of shape, and some are straight up in need of repair. However, if you are looking for fun, Gateway Entertainment has that for sure. As mentioned above, I have been here many times, and will most likely continue, as it is always a fun time.

We got to chat with one of the keepers and it was very interesting to hear about some of the behaviours of the meerkats. The staff were wonderful, their love and care for the animals was evident and their passionate about animals in general, it was lovely to see. We got some ice cream at one of the stores, my daughter loved the treat. The only complaint we had, and I can't really call it a complaint because I understand why, was that all the birds were missing from the cages because of an avian flu outbreak. They do offer craft beer and canned cocktails now!!! This was exciting for me but when we got there, I didn't know that the ONLY place you can buy beer is at Sandwich & Sons which is actually "outside" the gate of the zoo in the reception area. So I had to back track to go grab our drinks. It would be great if they could serve this at every food / drink area at the zoo. We were able to see a lot of animals, and we got a glimpse of Lucy the Elephant too! So special to have her here and to be able to see her. My kids LOVE the owls and birds area however there are a lot of wasps in that area too so beware and be careful. Overall, it was a great visit and nice to see this place constantly improving. No rides this time either due to Covid but hope they bring those back soon too!
