The Flynn-tini is the best drink on fire island and they always have the best specials for dinner, highly recommended

I'd prefer to give 3.5 stars but that's not a thing on Yelp! Have been here quite a few times for events but this was the 2nd time I've sat down to eat. We came on their busiest day of the season -- the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend. Service was good and attentive. Food and drinks came out in a timely manner. The only negatives -- couldn't make alternate changes to the menu based on how busy the kitchen was, and there was a BIG chicken bone found in the quesadilla. Views are always a 10/10 being on the water. They have outdoor (with umbrellas) and indoor seating options. Have had their Margherita pizza pie in the past and was also delicious. Will probably eat here again.

This food was aweful. Baked clams tasted like they had gasoline not even clams in tin foil. The shrimps were definitely farm raised frozen and salty. The lobster dried out. The corn and prime rib and corn was good. I will never order buffet there 8 women pushed their plates away. The salad was hot. And we were served coffee without milk waited till coffee was cold till we got milk.

Great service. Food was very good. We parked there with boat and stayed over night. Very helpful and area very nice too. Easy to walk anywhere or just rent a bike. Beach is within 5min ! Went there twice within 2 weeks..

Always a great vibe at Flynn's

Grew up sneaking into the bar here, so the nostalgia is real. The hummus and pita always great, burgers, shrimp cocktails you know Island prices, fries, onions rings, the basics, the baked clams were very herby like stuffing not too many chopped clams but the Pinas', bloodies and bay view make up for it. Dock your boat and enjoy watching the drunks attempt to dock SMH.

Came here with a group of women for the boat ride and dinner. Overall it was a nice experience. I thought the buffet was reasonably priced. If I remember correctly it's 48 or 49 for all you can eat corn, clam dip, rice, chicken francese, fish, ribs, prime rib, and shrimp cocktail. Then you get one lobster ticket so that you hand in the ticket when you get your lobster. That's a nice deal for sure. It didn't come with drinks but you also got coffee or tea at the end of the meal with a slice of ice cream cake. Worth four stars for sure. I loved the clam dip! Delicious. Lobster was delicious but it was a small lobster. Not that I'm surprised by this at all. But small means a lot of work for not a lot of gain. Oh well. The restaurant is very nice. Spacious. I didn't feel like I was on top of other people. We were inside as opposed to being close to the water. But it was still nice. I didn't care for the live music. But that's my opinion and not worth taking a star for. For a singer, I thought the guy was very monotone and not fun to listen to.

Pros: Great views and fast service (we went on Sunday of Labour Day Weekend). The spinach and artichoke dip was great. Cons: Scallops were okay. My friend got an upset stomach later in the evening due to the food. The vibe was very trashy/fratty. It is really really loud inside. The bathroom was disgusting. For some reason, there was a bouncer in the front (which was weird coz this is a restaurant), however there were also families with kids inside. I'd probably avoid this place next time.

One and a half stars for the location. One for happy hour specials and half for the entrees. Barely edible.

As someone who has traveled to all 50 states, I couldn't resist checking out Roadtrip Bayshore. The…read moreconcept is fantastic: the menu changes regularly to highlight a different state, and during my visit it was Georgia week. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The Vidalia onion soup was honestly the best onion soup I've ever had, and I'm a huge onion soup fan. The crab cake bites were among the best crab cakes I've had anywhere, which is saying a lot because I've spent years searching for great crab cakes. I also loved the maple bacon mac and cheese, which struck a perfect balance between sweet and savory. My daughter enjoyed the Georgia wings and sweet potato fries with a marshmallow dipping sauce. Everything was packed with flavor. The cocktails were equally impressive. I had the Georgia-themed Old Fashioned, while my daughter tried the Guy Fieri-inspired Georgia margarita. Both were creative, well-balanced, and memorable. As a mobility disabled person, accessibility is always important to me, and Roadtrip did very well. There is plenty of parking behind the restaurant with an accessible route to the entrance. Inside, the aisles are wide, the seating is flexible with movable chairs, and the restroom is fully accessible. The only thing keeping it from a perfect accessibility score is the lack of automatic doors. Food: 11/10 Cocktails: 10/10 Accessibility: 9/10 Roadtrip Bayshore earns my highest recommendation. Great food, great drinks, a fun and unique concept, and accessibility done right.

The premise of the…read morerestaurant is that every week they highlight a different U.S. state, creating entrées, appetizers and drinks that showcase the selected state's leading agricultural industries and cuisine the state is known for. The menu and food were excellent, there's truly something for everyone. We opted for the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer, and our entrees were the Brisket Horseradish Stack and the Blue Summit Burger. The service was great - the wait staff, attentive. What unfortunately has left a lasting impression and may be the reason I don't go back is they're okay, and likely encourage (based on their IG) content creators to visit. I understand in this day and age, exposure means everything. Getting a viral video could mean the definition of sink or swim in a competitive industry. What's not okay is having content creators with their bright lights blinding the patrons next to them. Having a bright camera light shone in our faces several times through our dinner soured the experience. I hope in the future the staff, and the owner (who was there), are more conscious of the dining experience for others.

The place was freezing with the AC on full blast and right above us, another table that sat a few tables away was also complaining about how cold it was. We ordered the kids Mac and cheese and chicken fingers with fries. Unfortunately they brought out a burger instead of my daughter's chicken fingers along with my other child's Mac and cheese and we told them it was wrong. My poor child was starving while everyone else's food came out already and she had to wait for hers but luckily we had some fries for her from our dish to share. I got a French onion soup and you can see it was a bit burnt on top. The soup was too salty and I couldn't take more than 3 sips. My husband enjoyed his chicken sandwich and I liked my cobb salad. My youngest enjoyed her Mac and cheese.

Our server appeared to be new, but she was incredibly patient, friendly, and genuinely trying her best. She handled every question with kindness, and I truly appreciated her attitude throughout the meal. The manager also made a great first impression by greeting us shortly after we were seated and even taking our drink order himself. At that point, I honestly thought we were in for a great experience. Unfortunately, things slowly began to unravel. A few items I ordered to accompany one of our pizzas didn't come out with the pizza itself, so by the time everything finally arrived, the pizza had gone cold. While frustrating, mistakes happen, and I didn't make an issue out of it. The bigger misunderstanding involved another pizza I ordered. I was trying to order a white Grandma pie after seeing a calzone listed with the option to make it on a Grandma crust. When it arrived, it had red sauce. The manager explained that the menu description included "Grandma sauce," which referred to red sauce. I hadn't realized that, and once he explained it, I understood where the misunderstanding came from. To his credit, he immediately offered to remake the pizza, which I appreciated. At that point, I considered the issue resolved. Unfortunately, the conversation didn't end there. While discussing the original pizza, the manager explained that it had ricotta cheese on it. My initial reaction was that I hadn't noticed any ricotta, but after he explained it, I acknowledged that perhaps I had simply missed it. From my perspective, the misunderstanding had been cleared up and the conversation was over. Instead, he looked at me and said: "Maybe you don't know the difference between mozzarella and ricotta cheese." That comment completely changed the experience. There is a big difference between explaining a menu item and making a personal remark toward a customer. By that point, I wasn't arguing. I wasn't asking for anything additional. I had already accepted the explanation and acknowledged that perhaps I had simply missed the ricotta. Rather than leaving it there, the conversation became increasingly confrontational. When I explained that I found the comment disrespectful, instead of trying to de-escalate the situation, the manager continued defending it by insisting that I had argued earlier. At that point, the discussion was no longer about the pizza... it had become an unnecessary debate with a customer who had already accepted the explanation. That was the moment we decided to leave. Mistakes happen. Orders get mixed up. Menu descriptions can create misunderstandings. None of those things determine whether I return to a restaurant. What determines that is how those situations are handled. A manager sets the tone for the entire restaurant. Their responsibility isn't just to resolve problems... it's to make guests feel heard, respected, and welcome, even when there's a misunderstanding. Unfortunately, that's where this experience fell apart. The food has always been good, which is why I've returned in the past. What I'll remember from this visit isn't the pizza or the misunderstanding over the menu. It's being spoken to in a way that felt dismissive and belittling after I had already accepted the explanation. Hospitality isn't measured by how a restaurant performs when everything goes perfectly. It's measured by how it treats people when something doesn't. Unfortunately, that's the lasting impression this visit left with me.
