I was very reluctant to go anywhere since my computer in Flagstaff had died some months earlier and Data Doctors had really left a bad taste in my mouth. Brought my baby in on Saturday. It was ready on Monday. It was as good as new. Everything was the same as before minus the virus. Data Doctors stripped mine earlier and replaced all the programs with freeware and "almost as good as" programs and it took them over a month. Western took one day and bam.....good as new. Did I mention price? Data Doctors charged over $200 and Western charged 69 dollars. Would I go there again? You betcha'. I've brought my Mac in the past to the Orchid and when I learned that I had another issue and could…read morenot troubleshoot it myself I decided to bring it in. They have two locations, one in Chandler and the other in Mesa so I went to my Chandler location on a Saturday morning to see what the recommendation was in order to resolve my iMac which was a "power up" problem. The issue was a common problem that could be resolved, but it required a part that needed to be ordered and that would've taken me out of commission for a couple days. The tech checked over with the Mesa store and they identified having that particular hardware available so I quickly headed over to and spoke with the agent and explain the problem and issues that I was having and he to believe that that may be the root cause. They provided me what the cost and labor of the repair would be upfront and told me that they literally could have it done within the same day. I knew they had limited hours on Saturday but the fact that he said it could take anywhere from an hour to three hours let me know that they were willing to stay behind in order to accommodate me as some of the content that I need it was recently changed within the last 48 hours and not properly backed up (yeah that's my fault) While running a few errands I got a phone call letting me know that was the issue and that repair been completed. I quickly made my way over to for pick up. I'm back home and powering up my computer was no issue and everything is running just as it was previously the other day. One of the things I like about the Orchard is that they do have available equipment and hardware on hand to do the repairs that are needed but they also let you know about other alternatives that could be done if you're looking to upgrade or move in a different direction with your Mac. No pressure sales but informative. If you no longer part of AppleCare and have equipment I highly recommend using The Orchard as your first line of defense as they have been honest and forthcoming and great when it comes to repairs and they do work at a reasonable price for owning a Mac. My experience though was great…read more I think you get a feel for the place when you only make a small purchase but they treat you like you bought the most expensive item in the store. I had bought an OEM video card but after opening the box and installing I notice the power cord wasn't correct. I was panicking because the big box store could't help me. I called around to different stores to see if they'd sell me the cord. Only Jason took time to talk with me. He said "Yes we could sell you the cord but it's better to bring in the computer so you get the right one" Well I did bring in my PC first thing on Saturday. Jason wasn't in but Simon said he'd take care of me. It turned out the first cord he brought out that he thought would work wouldn't when he opened up the case. So he got a second one which did. He only wanted $10 for it. I gave him the money and started to pick up the PC and he said, "Don't leave yet, let me bench check to make sure it worked. I don't want you to get home and it doesn't work". So he took the time to take it to the back bench to make sure it booted up correct. He also very politely told me that I had not used the on/off switch on the PSU so that when I got home I needed to turn it back on after plugging in the power cord. So only a $10 sale but I was treated like a huge business customer. Very glad I found this place and will recommend it to others if they are looking to buy a PC since they also had a few custom builds there for reasonable prices.
