He arrived as expected and after showing him the new equipment, he got right to work. He transferred all data from the old desktop hard drive, external hard drive, music and then arranged all the apps to the positions I had on my last monitor. He even downloaded the apps. And then after they told me they couldn't do the job, I found an hour later that my USB chip for my mouse was gone. I'll give them credit, they drove 20 minutes to drop off the chip and were apologetic throughout the process. However, this does not take away from the fact that I felt that my experience was quite the headache and I had the increasing perception that the company lacked competence. Again, maybe I just had an unlucky experience, but personally I would not recommend this shop.

I would only be on the computer 45 minutes or so before turning the display off to let it cool down. My computer is 17 years old and I put off replacing the fan as long as I could. I called on Wednesday before noon and they picked it up that afternoon. By Friday I had my computer back and it's like it's new again. It has made a world of difference. You can't get any better service for the reasonable charge than Geeks Mobile.

While here to perform the supposed "upgrade," they shut down my computer and disconnected me from my network without telling me in advance. I was working on several documents at the time, all of which were lost and had to be redone because of this bonehead move. When I asked Deon Lee why they did this, he replied that he didn't know that I was here. Didn't know that I was here? I welcomed him at the door and have a glass enclosed office that looks directly into the area where our server closet is located. No honesty at all in my opinion. The "upgrade" has since turned into a disaster. EVERYTHING on my system and network runs slower than it did before Deon Lee Hanson touched anything. Our ability to maintain our workflow is even worse now. I asked Deon Lee for the money back that I paid for the repairs he never performed and the supposed "upgrade" that made my system worse. I needed the money back because now I am going to have to pay another IT firm to come in and fix this utter mess that Geeks Mobile created. Mr. Lee refused to refund my money. I now have to file a lawsuit. Folks, there are plenty of good mobile IT firms out there that are far, far better and more professional than this one. In my opinion, whatever you do, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They are not talented and will not make things right when they mess up.
