Hired these guys to move from Cary IL to Channahon IL. Pretty much a one bedroom unit. The cost was $1400. Was that expesive for what ir was? Help ya!! Still the guys were super professional. Yes could have been a lot faster. My boss would have fired them day one. Still I would have given a good review. It wasn't until this little twit named Tyler called me thinking he had a real career giving me attitude stating I needed to give his guys a "Google review" in order for them to get a bonus. That alone would Prevent me from ever using these guys again. Wow!!!! These guys are working their butts off and this smug wannabe thinks he is something. Do yourself a favor and look past that guy's. You are only making douche bags like Tyler money. read more

The crew at Fly Guy's moving were great! Very professional and courteous team at both ends of move (origination and destination). Our move was for a 5 bedroom 5000+ sf home. This included furniture, picture frames, and some boxes we didn't move to storage (we packed and moved small items, clothes, etc.). Phase 1 was the (hourly rate) moving from origination into their storage facility. Phase 2 was the move from their storage to new home (based on weight/125 miles). Phase 3 was unloading a 26' truck I rented for transporting additional items we had in storage (hourly). The review process and inventory was thorough, smooth and well documented. Instead of large semi trailers they used multiple 26' trucks for ease of access. The crew at both ends was professional, friendly and careful (phase 1 used (6) crew, phase 2 (8) crew / (4) trucks). Cost breakdown: Phase 1 $13,739 (estimate was $10,200) Phase 2 $13,186 (estimate was $12,700) Phase 3 $516 Total $27,500 (excluding tip/food and storage) Overall very happy with service and only a couple of items were damaged/scratched. I did receive an estimate from a well established company that was less. However, that company was not as professional with the original presentation/inventory. I also wanted to give my business to a smaller (fellow aviator) company. The 1 star deduction is based on the higher cost and 20% over estimate (note that $1,200 of the phase 2 amount was result of 1 truck not being able to get up drive). read more

If you ever need a quality mover this is the company you MUST use! Fly Guys packed 22 years of home gatherings and moved a distance 50+ miles from my old property to my new property. The lender of my new home caused one disruption after another upsetting the entire process, but Fly Guys, with patience and flexibility, made all the difference in the world for my moving experience. They listened, heard and resolved whatever needs and concerns I had. Their team packed and moved my entire household in a timely manner despite all the disruptions. The crew is very nice, but owner is very unprofessional. Long story short. Gave a quote; had to change date of move due to closing change. Removed the original quote and lady that gave original quote was unreachable. After much back and forth owner said he'd lock me in at original quote. Quote was originally for them to pack AND unpack; told him I would unpack which should have lowered the price but didn't want to argue. So you realize how little I had to move, they packed and loaded in 3 hours. He only sent 2 guys to move me into my condo to "save me some money" and wound up charging me $3300.00, $1100.00 MORE than the original quote that he "locked me in" at. (Stated "it says on the contract can be more)." They supposedly had to use more boxes than originally quoted, but must be some expensive cardboard and 3 boxes were packed with couch cushions that were supposed to be trash and in another 2 bathroom trash cans with packing paper in them! He charged for 11 hours and 45 minutes PLUS 1-1/2 hours travel time. Watch your wallet with this guy. read more
