I was, admittedly, a little overwhelmed trying to pick a drink. She started a causal conversation of- what do you normally like? And we built from there! I ended up getting Voodoo, a peanut butter chocolate espresso latte and a plain bagel with cream cheese, OMG! I haven't stopped thinking about that drink. It was so smooth, just the right amount of sweet. Incredible! And the bagel was nice and crunchy on the outside and super soft in the middle. As someone who grew up a stones throw from NYC I can be a bagel snob. This was perfection. I sat there and worked for a while and at one point one of the baristas brought me over a cup of water. Said she noticed I had been working for a while and thought it might like some water. Which honestly was so touching because sometimes I get so hyper focused on what I'm doing I forgot to care for myself. That really meant a lot. This place is an absolute gem and if you're in the area- stop and check it out!

I even had the hubby try it (a normal person that uses milk in his coffee, ugh) and he said that he could drink it with nothing! WHAT! Yep, that is huge. PROS: Great parking Cute spot Great coffee/tea choices CONS: Difficult to find, GPS does not get you all the way there, keep going

There are two doors and a step in between, and even I had to maneuver my way in and out. Just an FYI. The Press has a coffee shop inside of it. How nice! I didn't partake because the line was long, but the coffee smelled amazing. What a pleasant thing to be a bookstore that's also a coffee shop. There are some cozy couches and tables here and there among the stacks of books. I suppose you could take your cup of coffee and curl up on a couch or chair, because I saw one person doing that. But mostly: This is a bookstore, not so much a coffee shop or place to lounge. So I wouldn't visit with the intention of posting up and working for a few hours. This doesn't seem like that kind of place. Again, it's a bookstore first, a coffee shop second, a place to lounge third. Although The Press is a small bookstore, it has a nice children's section, with lots of books for kids and even graphic novels (my personal favorite). There is something for everyone here.

Even during the height of COVID when this was one of the few NWI locations open then were always kind and timely with orders. Considering the drive thru (because the inside was closed) could be around the back of the strip and almost onto the side road I never felt I was waiting an exorbitant amount of time! I actually decided to FINALLY leave them a review after I stopped in last night and my usual guava drink was unavailable. Which was sad but the barista who's name I unfortunately did not get gave me some suggestions! I settled on the passion tango tea she recommended which is uncaffeinated (which at 8PM and a few hours after an energy drink I definitely didn't need caffeine)! It was an excellent drink and perfect for an after workout treat! And my mom also loves this location because it's one of the few local Starbucks that always has the peach flavoring! So I highly recommend this location!

This is definitely a fun place to hang out with some friends after dinner to enjoy sipping on some mead which was really well made and you can taste the natural flavors. For the table, my brother ordered a house special entree - Mariscada Valero's - which is a variety of sautéed seafood served with tortillas. It was perfect for sharing with our four person group. For my main dish, I ordered the skirt steak tacos with coconut rice on the side. I love coconut and I love rice. Who knew they go together so well! The skirt steak was cooked perfectly. I had my leftovers for breakfast and the skirt steak was still tender! I did try the lobster tacos (my sister-in-law's favorite). They were yummy - although a bit spicy. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it! Overall, we were really happy with everything. I will definitely make it a point to come here on my next visit!
