Portobello & goat cheese breakfast sandwich with a Caesar side salad

We stumbled upon Joe's Bread as the coffee shop on the main road was closed on Sunday and it turned out to be the best experience! I ordered an iced latte, a breakfast sandwich with a side, and a loaf of bread all for $25. My coffee and food were delicious. The cafe itself is so cute, with tons of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were so friendly to our large group, and checked on our table outside. If you're near town, go to Joes!

Cute little place, in a cute little town. Great coffee served by Great people. It was just what I needed. The fresh baked goods you could smell as you walked up. I highly recommend.b

Fantastic,! First eating time there for us. We wish this place were closer to our home. We had an omelette which was cooked to perfection (eggs not overdone), very good mushroom crepes, and a delicious open-faced egg on ham and cheese and bread item (which I don't remember the name of). Very fortunately, one of us got the brussel sprouts as her side item. You must, MUST try these. They were so very good. One more thing that you simply have to try is one of their cheese danishes. The pastry would impress Paul Hollywood. The filling is not overly sweet. We will get one of these every single time we eat there. We also had three different coffees/lattes. Every one was so good. You won't be disappointed with any drink you get. Joe's Bread. Simply what other restaurants should strive to be. We loved it so much. (Also cannot forget to mention the workers. So kind, patient and genuinely caring.)

I can see why this place has 5 stars! Everything from the service to the drinks to the food was perfect. Such a cute cafe too! Very calming environment that made us feel like we weren't in Indiana anymore. I was sure those berry crepes would be too sweet for my taste but they were delicious. Perfect balance.

    Cozy seating.

I needed this place. After finding a Starbucks in a grocery store and a Bixbys coffee with a drive thru and an inside that resembled McDonalds, I found this gem with fantastic drip coffee and an ambiance that seems refreshingly out of place from what I have seen. Lovely space with calming music and such friendly staff. This should be your only choice for coffee shops in the area.

Menu - Since I Cldnt Find Anythg online Hope 2Help Other!. Taste TBD!. Service was Very Nice though!.

There are two doors and a step in between, and even I had to maneuver my way in and out. Just an FYI. The Press has a coffee shop inside of it. How nice! I didn't partake because the line was long, but the coffee smelled amazing. What a pleasant thing to be a bookstore that's also a coffee shop. There are some cozy couches and tables here and there among the stacks of books. I suppose you could take your cup of coffee and curl up on a couch or chair, because I saw one person doing that. But mostly: This is a bookstore, not so much a coffee shop or place to lounge. So I wouldn't visit with the intention of posting up and working for a few hours. This doesn't seem like that kind of place. Again, it's a bookstore first, a coffee shop second, a place to lounge third. Although The Press is a small bookstore, it has a nice children's section, with lots of books for kids and even graphic novels (my personal favorite). There is something for everyone here.

That being said, it is the cutest shop. It felt modern but cozy and not pretentious. A great spot to sit and sip some coffee with friends or clients. I wanted to get a real taste of the roastery and purchased the standard coffee with nothing in it! What a change for me, but totally worth it. The coffee was great. I even had the hubby try it (a normal person that uses milk in his coffee, ugh) and he said that he could drink it with nothing! WHAT! Yep, that is huge. PROS: Great parking Cute spot Great coffee/tea choices CONS: Difficult to find, GPS does not get you all the way there, keep going

We stopped in Michigan City and ended up at a coffee shop called Fluid. I was having a headache and forgot to bring something to take for it. I ordered a coffee drink with lavender syrup because that tends to help relieve my headache. The girl at the counter mentioned that they make their own syrups. The coffee helped relieve my headache. I asked another girl if it would be possible to buy some. She didn't think they could sell me some, but she gave me a "sample" cup size of the syrup to take home. (I tried to pay her, but she said it was a gift). A few days later, I wrote the company to thank her for her kindness. I did not know the girl's name, but they replied that it was Lily, and if I could come in, they would give me a bottle of the syrup. Unfortunately, I live an hour away, but I offered to pay them for the syrup and shipping if possible. Instead, they sent me the recipe, some lavender buds to make my own, two kinds of lavender teas, several pins, and stickers. I was overwhelmed by their kindness and wanted to send them a check, but when I called to inquire about the cost of the items and shipping, I was told it was strictly a gift. The time spent in their truly unique shop was peaceful and lovely. The coffee was definitely much, much better than that of the typical coffee shop. It is the kind of place where one can sit and visit without feeling rushed, and where someone might sit working on their laptop -- an actual coffee shop. And now I know that the people who own and run Fluid are the kind of people that America is about. During these difficult days, both politically and with my health. I cannot thank FLUID enough, for making my life calmer and better

For food, we ordered the Minor Threat and Parma Police--both were very good. The fresh tomatoes were a nice touch. The avocado spread itself didn't have much flavor, but it worked well in the sandwich overall. The hot honey chips on the side had a quick kick and were delicious. Overall, great vibe, great drinks, solid food. Would definitely come back!
