A haven located close yet away from the commercial bustle. If you see an area with a firepit and garage door with their logo then curve around the building for the entrance. I think shortly after our visit they replaced the sign above the door so now it's clear where the cafe is at. Bright open clean artsy and inclusive cafe. Lattes were spot on. I wanted to come back the next day to try more alas it wasn't in the cards. Will try to ensure a stop here each time I return to visit Valpo as they have a new fan.

This is a hidden gem! It's tucked off the main road so you'd never know it was there. Also the fact that the door faces away from the street makes it feel like you aren't supposed to go in! When you do venture inside, the lighting is amazing. It's a bright and cute space that's perfect for sitting to hang out or study. The coffee was so good! I had a seasonal latte and my husband got an Americano and both were spot on. It's always nice when a coffee roaster can do a great Americano and not just a latte!

Crazy good! This is a top tier roastery and espresso Cafe, had high expectations given how much my sisters like it here and surprisingly did not have high enough! It is a beautiful and inviting atmosphere, plenty of space, high ceilings made for ideal vibes, and the staff matches the easy going space. The menu is perfect with something to treat everyone's taste. Noticed hand crafted house made syrups which signify an aim for royalty flavors and balanced java lattes, my sisters already waxed eloquent on seasonal brews the past year. I can happily support all and any items Dagger ever makes at this rate. My sister and I did the Salted Maple and an Orange latte off the seasonal menu. Noticed the orange was quiet and letting the roast speak louder but mine was well balanced promoting both tingly salt and smooth maples notes, wish we could've stayed around for a bit! Will definitely be back here even with many other excellent coffee options in the area, I can put Dagger up there with Sacred Grounds in Lafayette, Zion in Peoria, and Gaia in Indianapolis for my favorite midwest brew houses!

This is my favorite place to go for coffee. They play a variety of music here and are always friendly. I enjoy trying their seasonal drinks and getting to visit with friends here. There's a variety of tables and seats available for different group sizes.

A hidden gem that will make your coffee dreams come true! I came in and was greeted and served quickly. I got the dune latte and my brother got an espresso and drip coffee. Everything was very high quality and I would be happy to come back! It's a great environment to read or study as well!

Stopped for my caffeine fix on my long drive from Chicago to Columbus. Will definitely stop again. It's Beautiful, clean and cozy. They even accommodated my unique request of building an americano with their homemade spice Grrl syrup and a touch of almond milk. Absolutely spot on. I'm a happy traveler now!! Thanks again

This place is too cool for school. Like, maybe even actually too cool for Valpo (no hate on my hometown), but the coffee is awesome so I see why it works. This is the kind of place that brews single origin coffee and doesn't want you to put milk in it so you can taste the different notes (this really happened to us here in 2016), but I can appreciate the owners' passion for coffee and ya know what? It's their shop and they're serving coffee how they want to, so I can respect that. The location is, well, off the beaten path. It's in a garage off of Silhavy--I'm not even sure what the other surrounding businesses are, but it's certainly not on a main drag or anything. I stopped in this week to get a latte while I was in town and they're currently closed for any walk ins due to COVID. I pulled up their menu on Yelp, called to place my order, paid over the phone, and my latte was brought out to the car shortly after. Easy peasy! It's worth noting that if you do want milk in your latte, they *only* serve oat milk. Works for me because I really like oat milk, but if you're craving a traditional cappuccino or something, you might want to head to Blackbird on Lincolnway.

This place hits the spot every time! They customize your coffee to your liking and the ambiance is fantastic. Plenty of seating so you won't feel crowded if you want to study/work. Lots of natural light

Thanks to Yelp, we found this hidden gem. Dagger Mountain Roastery is gorgeous. My mom and I stopped for a latte before heading to Indianapolis and I'm so glad we found this place. The lattes were delicious. I wish we could have stayed a while to relax.

First time visiting here this morning. Literally every person in my life has told me that I'd really like this place. Finally decided to go, and I was not disappointed! The new cafe area is bright, open, fresh, funky, and comfortable. The coffee is crafted with care and is delicious! The staff was friendly and helpful! I will be back again!

Renowned coffee brewed expertly. Love the ambiance and great, quiet, secret location. Large space, bright with plenty of seating for a meeting or working.

The service was great, the barista there was extremely sweet! They had good music, and very aesthetically pleasing environment. The coffee was delicious, honestly a great way to treat yourself! Shoutout to the barista that was by herself and literally getting the coffees out quickly.

Nice place to get a cup of coffee or latte. Small place in an industrial park area. We'll definitely be back.

We stopped in Michigan City and ended up at a coffee shop called Fluid. I was having a headache and forgot to bring something to take for it. I ordered a coffee drink with lavender syrup because that tends to help relieve my headache. The girl at the counter mentioned that they make their own syrups. The coffee helped relieve my headache. I asked another girl if it would be possible to buy some. She didn't think they could sell me some, but she gave me a "sample" cup size of the syrup to take home. (I tried to pay her, but she said it was a gift). A few days later, I wrote the company to thank her for her kindness. I did not know the girl's name, but they replied that it was Lily, and if I could come in, they would give me a bottle of the syrup. Unfortunately, I live an hour away, but I offered to pay them for the syrup and shipping if possible. Instead, they sent me the recipe, some lavender buds to make my own, two kinds of lavender teas, several pins, and stickers. I was overwhelmed by their kindness and wanted to send them a check, but when I called to inquire about the cost of the items and shipping, I was told it was strictly a gift. The time spent in their truly unique shop was peaceful and lovely. The coffee was definitely much, much better than that of the typical coffee shop. It is the kind of place where one can sit and visit without feeling rushed, and where someone might sit working on their laptop -- an actual coffee shop. And now I know that the people who own and run Fluid are the kind of people that America is about. During these difficult days, both politically and with my health. I cannot thank FLUID enough, for making my life calmer and better

I got the Diana of the Dunes iced latte and it was really good. Smooth roast, and the lavender wasn't overpowering at all. Also tried a hot Voodoo coffee, and the flavors were just as tasty. For food, we ordered the Minor Threat and Parma Police--both were very good. The fresh tomatoes were a nice touch. The avocado spread itself didn't have much flavor, but it worked well in the sandwich overall. The hot honey chips on the side had a quick kick and were delicious. Overall, great vibe, great drinks, solid food. Would definitely come back!
