Full grooming for a 6 month old puppy. This is her second groom, but first time here. I asked for puppy cut and specifically asked for top knot and showed a photo of how I want the legs and feet specifically. She came out smelling great. The body and legs were exactly as requested. The staff was friendly and groomer talked to us personally to ask us what we like. However, we were disappointed that they cut the top knot that we spent months to grow out and they cut the eyebrows. The head was also a bit uneven. Maybe I should've showed a photo for the head too. They trim the nails and paw hair, but it wasn't a detailed job. They didn't file her nails. The groomer said my puppy was good and didn't run into any issues. The grooming took 4 hours and 40 mins.

I really love the service here and use Fluffy Puppy as my go-to groomer. I have three dogs and they are able to accommodate all of them. Daniel has been my favorite to work with as he is kind and understanding. They also tend to give bandanas and bows at the end. There have been times where I will have to go back to correct a haircut or find something they've missed, but they are quick to resolve it! Would highly recommend for other pup parents!

I feel very fortunate to have found Fluffy Puppy. I have 4 furry babies and have looked around for a while for a place in which they would not feel scared to go to and that will make them look even more adorable. I had been coming here for a little over a year. The staff is very friendly, patient and attentive. They address all my requests and concerns. I usually get their express service and schedule ahead of time to make it easier on my schedule, and I had no issues. The groomers are great and you can tell they take their time to perfect their haircuts. A special thank you to Daniel and Christina who helped me last time, but everybody I have encountered there, has been great!

This was my dog's first time here. I thought the haircut looked fine and everything seemed ok when I picked her up. After, I noticed her licking one area a lot. She was licking so often that my parents checked if something was off. When they checked, there was a big wound on her back. It looked infected. I've been very sick and so my dog had stayed home ever since the grooming appointment. My dog licks often but usually certain areas. She would never lick this area before (her lower back) and she only started licking it after. I would say to just be careful and check after because she's never had a hot spot and she suddenly started picking at this spot right after grooming. I usually try to stop her if I catch her licking too so I'm not sure how else she would've gotten this other than irritation from grooming. Overall, just check after. It wouldn't hurt

Came here twice, love it so far. They listen to our needs and my baby Mylo comes out the way I want it. She is happy to go with the groomer, I been to lots where my dog doesn't want to go with them but my dog could sense the love from them. It's close for us so will definitely come again. They have availability every time I call they usually finish within 3 to 4 hours and you get a text message. The new thing that I seen on their posting is that once your dog is done, you have to pick up within 30 minutes or they start charging an extra fee I don't remember this from before, but I haven't been there long.

Wanted to find a groomer closer to home and was hesitant on finding a new one or just make the drive to his usual groomer. Upon reading the reviews, I just went ahead and scheduled with Fluffy Puppy. I called on Sunday to schedule an appointment for Tues/Wed. Christina was so sweet to help me schedule my appointment. I notified her that my corgi has DM and has no mobility in his hind legs and she kindly stated she will take her time with him and give him lots of breaks and not rush his grooming. I was happy to hear that they provided care for their patients. Luckily this is located in the better areas of Pasadena where they have their own private lot rather than finding street parking or parking structures to park in. It is shared with many other restaurants so parking may be limited but I was able to find parking fairly fast. Their store front is very simple, clean and fairly cold but nice. There is a wall of photos of their patients which I thought was cute. Check in was simple and quick. I didn't have to fill out any paperwork or present any vaccine records. She just took my dog and said she will call me when he's done. His appointment was at 1pm and I didn't get a call until 5:14pm so they REALLY took their time with him. I was so worried why it took so long since his normal groomer usually take 1.5 hours but I guess because he was new and they didn't know his temperament and condition, they wanted to be extra careful. They accept all major credit cards, cash and venmo AND there is no fees to utilize your card which was nice. Overall, I will most likely return here for his future grooming appointments. Although they are $5 more expensive than his normal groomer, I like how friendly their service was and it is closer to home. The only reason I gave 4 stars is due to the check in process. I wish they offer online appointment booking so I don't have to call in and they didn't check for vaccine records. I pray all owners are responsible to vaccinate their pets to limit the exposure of illness to other pets.

I love this place. They make sure your dog is well taken care of. The owner, Dinora will find things on your dog you made have missed it did not see like a lump, scar, skin problem, etc. They care about the dogs they are grooming. This is the reason I love it so much. They treat my dog like if it was theirs . My dog has been going here for a few years now and he likes it. The prices are reasonable and they give superb service.

This was our first time trying Fluffy Puppy since our groomer left our go to location. I was concerned for my fur babies as I do NOT just trust anyone with my babies. I'm glad we listened to the referrals and read the testimonials. We definitely will be back. The fur babies look great and came out super happy. That's all a pet parent can ask for.

Our Boxer girl had the pleasure of spa days here for the last 5 yrs. Always treated with much love & respect, most days she didn't want to leave. Our baby sadly lost her battle with cancer but we got to say goodbye to one of our favorite FP family members, Daniel before her passing. (Daniel, Dinora & Uncle Kyle) were SO WONDERFUL! I never doubted she would be treated well when I took her to them. They always made time for her, even on short notice when possible, and always greeted us with smiles. EXCELLENT customer service! Our Mini labradoodle Cam. Got the best service haircut shampoo nails! The team at the fluffy puppy are best! We definitely recommend them to anyone looking for grooming services.

So far so good! The most patient groomer that I've been to so far as my little Maltese is 15 yrs old and at times grumpy. So far they are the most patient & gentle with my small size dog and I've been highly satisfied with their service.

Be careful bringing your dog to this place. I've taken my dog to this location twice. This second time I went they cut my dog on his scrotum. My dog is neutered, but they somehow cut him there. On top of that the haircut they gave him was uneven around the head and the back legs. Other places I've taken my dog to usually have a 3 hour process to bathe and give him a haircut, this place did it in about 2 hours. That should've been my first red flag. It was just too fast of a process especially since the first time I took him it took more than 3 hours and it was for a bath only. Don't trust the 5-star reviews they have on here. The first time I took my dog there they gave me a card asking that I leave them a review and I would get a discount the next time.

I had to look for a new dog groomer after moving to the area and finally decided to try these guys out based on the reviews. Calling in for an appt was super easy, and Kyle did the grooming for my dog Kaylee. He did such a great job with her! EVERYONE at this place are amazing! I'm so happy that I found them. Dinora just got all of the sap out of my sweet Scout! My dog is a rescue from China and has severe cage fright so they will do an express appointment that takes about an hour. They'll call to give me notice she'll be ready in 15 minutes. Nails, ears and coat are perfect. I'm just dropped off our new Shepard puppy! They know dogs and when he got scared they gently picked him up! First class! Five stars! Finally a groomer who really cares and loves my dogs! Alex and everyone is great at this place!! Daniel the manager was very comfortable picking up my huge Shepard puppy when he was scared and he was wagging his tail when we left. read more

My how fast a year goes. It seemed like only yesterday when we happened to start looking for a new groomer for our puggle girls Thelma and Louise. We didn't have to look far only a couple of blocks away down Colorado Blvd and found a new paradise, Fluffy Puppy. What we liked the most is that it is stripped down and does only what its name implies. This place is solely a groomer, Not a pet shop or a pet day care. Its only focus is to make your puppy look cute and fluffy and they do it from their nails to their tails. My dog max was shedding in patches. He was a very dirty and matted boy when we took him. We had been on vacation so he was a month in without a proper wash. They took excellent care of my dog. I give fluffy puppy 5 stars for their AMAZING service. The groomers were so kind and accommodating. I've asked for this specific haircut on my two boys at every groomer we've been to and this place was the only one that has executed it. I don't know how I didn't find this salon till now. When picking up and dropping off my dogs, they were calm and weren't stressed at all. Usually they come back trying to run away from groomers but today walked out calmly. Haircut smooth and well scissored and pups smell divine. Definitely will be a regular here no matter how brutal the drive is. read more

I found this place about a year ago & have been a faithful customer ever since. They do such a good job with my Pom. The bath & cut is so reasonably priced & they have her style down to a T. I had rescued a dog from the streets, it's obvious he'd been in the streets for a long time. Poor thing had obvious issues. I had spoken to Fluffy Puppy staff and explained how this dog had some issues. They assured me they would take their time and give me updates throughout his grooming process. They are truly a godsend. It's apparent the staff loves dogs. Fluffy Puppy kept their promise. They took 4hours in grooming the doggy and called me to tell me how he was doing. Since finding this place a year ago, I don't think we've ever had not just one of the best haircuts done to my dog but you can truly see how sincere the owner, Daniel is at caring for his clients. I feel comfortable each time I leave my dog to get groomed and each time he comes back he isn't frazzled unlike with other groomers. Daniel takes pride in his work and his business. The staff was great with our two pups who are usually very anxious around strangers. We always ask for a summer cut and come in every couple of months for the grooming package. Although one my pups got a minor cut on her leg from the haircut, the owner informed me right away and made sure the wound was cleaned and my pup was okay - I appreciate the honesty! They fill up pretty quickly, so call ahead for an appointment. It typically takes them 3-4 hours to fully groom my two pups. Thank you for taking care of Hash and Tot! read more

We absolutely love Daniel and his team! The entire staff are always so welcoming, very informative, knowledgeable, and take great care of our two little dogs that we bring regularly to have grooming/bath services. The Fluffy Puppy is where I go to take my Bichon Frise and Yorkie. Jerzey and Cali love it here. The owners are really friendly and the people they have working ask lots of questions so that your dog comes out looking great! They book really fast and if you call you may not even get an appointment bc they have been to busy to even answer their phones. The owners are really nice and I will continue to bring my dogs here. If I can ever get an appointment again. They do such a great job that I won't take my dogs anywhere else. read more

This place is the best. We've taken our dog to Fluffy Puppy before and we're left confused why sometimes his paws weren't trimmed or his sanitary area wasn't trimmed. So we called them and they were so happy to work with us! We were reassured that our Oso would be completely taken care of! Not only that, when we asked for the Express Priority add-on they were gladly moved him up for us so he didn't stay in the kennel waiting for so long (which was one of our concerns). Here's Oso, freshly bathed and looking so handsome- all under an hour and a half! So thankful for Fluffy Puppy working with us, for (I think his name is) Kyle for a great cut and for taking care of Oso! We'll definitely be back! read more

Only place I will take my Wooly Siberian Husky. Kyle is an exceptional groomer with experience and takes great care. Takes his time to make sure the job gets done right! Sincerely appreciate his efforts and his patience, as my girl has quite the coat. I have used over half a dozen other groomers in this area, and by far this is the best establishment around. Staff is friendly, prices are reasonable, and they make sure your pup is comfortable. Keep up the good work, and special shout out to Kyle for all of his hard work and great attitude! read more

Update this review after second visit. I appreciate they were able to take my puppy that day even with a busy schedule. I dropped my puppy off at 12pm scheduled appointment. We asked the estimated time to pick her up, the front desk said about 1-2 hours (they said that last time but they completed the grooming about 40min). 90min past we called the shop and another person picked up the phone and told me the appointment requires 3 hours to complete. at 3pm we arrived the shop and they are still working on our puppy, which doesnt make sense. She does not need much work done (shower, some minor trim and that's it). I assume they basically lock her in crate for over 2 hours and 40min and scrambling to get things done when I called and said I want to pick her up at 3pm. When I pick our puppy up we can tell she was extremely stressed out, crying and yapping when she sees us, which did not happen the first time. When we arrived home we noticed a patch of fur was sticky, the shampoo has not been washed off so we had to wash her again just to make sure. Her nails was not trimmed and the paw furs was not trimmed. Basically they did a terrible job and stress our puppy in their crate for over 2 hours. The following day our pet started to vomit and diarrhea and we had to take her to a vet. This is not acceptable. They did well the first visit and basically ask for a 5 star review so you can get a discount on future visit. The second visit for our puppy was a terrible experience and we will not return this location. read more

It is Always great when they know your dog by name. Harley is never nervous and Always comes out happy, Well groomed and almost always with a new scarf. Dinora is fantastic with her customer service and warm smile, it makes me feel comfortable leaving my pet in the care of the groomers. This is a bittersweet review because my pup is now in doggy paradise. The story of our experience with Fluffy Puppy began in 2017. Before my wife and I had brought Marcus (our pup) to Fluffy Puppy, Daniel and Dinora took the time to speak to us and getting to know our situation. They also shared about their professional experience in the industry and why they decided to open their own shop. Because of the extra step, my wife said she wants to give Daniel and Dinora an opportunity to care for Marcus. Since Marcus had some medical condition that required extra care and attention, Daniel and Dinora did what they could to help accommodate. They made sure that Marcus was able to remain calm and that his time there was smooth and easy. Daniel and Dinora both understand that there are times that Marcus needed me to be around while he was getting washed and groomed. We would always schedule a week in advance so I can be there when Marcus was getting washed and groomed. This extra step helped Marcus. The price that they had set for dogs of all sizes is very reasonable. The price they set includes wash, trimming of nails, and trimming the fur. If you haven't been here before and are looking for a new place to get your doggo groomed, this is your spot! You won't regret coming here. Just be sure to call in advance to schedule since they get booked up quickly! They do have a lot of happy pups getting their pampers on! read more

The first time I came here, I asked for a trim and they cut my puppy more than a trim. I recognized this to be my fault for not being more specific and not bringing in pictures of what I wanted. The owner was very nice so for that I gave an extra star. I brought my puppy here a 2nd time and told them to keep her face in a circle and just have a line trim. They did not keep her face how I wanted it to even though I brought pictures this time. I am so upset. read more

Our 6-month old puppies just had their 3rd "spaw day" experience with Dinora (twice) and Daniel (once)! I continue to be impressed with the care that this husband & wife duo have towards our puppies. Daniel knew that Maltipoos have tear stains and made sure to trim a lot around her eyes to minimize irritation and tearing. Dinora noticed a suture sticking out of the other puppy after his neuter procedure! Even though the stitches were supposed to be dissolvable, it had already been two weeks. I called the vet's office after we left Fluffy Puppy and was told to bring our puppy over right away. Our puppies now know this place and excitedly run from the car to the front door. They are both smiling in their wall photo because they know they are so clean and smell great, haha! Our pups also love Cecilia, who assists Dinora and Daniel - she is so kind and loving. Fluffy Puppy takes so much pride in their business and always give more than 100% customer service! read more

Established in 2017, Fluffy Puppy set out to raise the standards for pet grooming in Pasadena! Having a combined 17 years of experience, our groomers are ready to show everyone their knowledge, along with compassion in care, so we can provide the best service for you and your puppy!

Meet the Manager: Daniel Y.

Daniel started his long term career back in 2006 where he applied for an entry level position at a corporate salon in Pasadena. After 1 full year of bathing and prep, he moved on to learn what will develop into his pure passion today, pet grooming. Over the next 5 years, Daniel worked on the art form of grooming, and soon went onto the next chapter of his career, management. Managing for an additional 5 years, Daniel successfully helped 2 corporate salons turn over, and become top stores in there districts. Aside from his performance in the salon he helped mentor new, up and coming groomers, sharing his knowledge with people across the company. Daniel has a lengthy history in corporate grooming, and he looks at his successes and failures in corporate, and found his inspiration for Fluffy Puppy. The many years of successes working in corporate, has given him the confidence needed to venture out to start the next chapter of his career as an independent one.

In that time, he lost a ton of weight and most of his hair. His butt was actually bald! Today, we took him in for his first groom since being on the verge of death, and the little guy looks like a puppy again. He clearly feels great with the last few months of bulk coming off. In any case, this is THE best spot for getting your dog groomed if you need to know that they will be treated right. I am so worried 24/7 about this little fragile dude, and Roch and Gertrude is the only place I leave him besides the vet where I cannot keep eyes on him.

My wife came across R&G when looking for dog groomers and we've been coming back to R&G regularly since 2019. Later, in 2021 we rescued another little senior dog named Mimi. She had a bit more sass than Max and unfortunately her last owners hadn't done the best job caring for her coat. R&G treated her with so much love and respect that they were able to give her a bath and give her a great looking trim that we almost didn't recognize her. She looked like a refreshed dog. Unfortunately, Mimi passed in 2023 but R&G was also caring enough to be there for us as we navigated that loss. To this day we continue to recommend R&G to anyone looking for a dog groomer because they will treat their pets like the family they are. Even though we moved 40+ minutes away from Pasadena, we still make the drive to come here because they are worth it. Leanne, Elizabeth, Jasmine, and the team are caring to both our dogs and to us and we will continue to come to R&G for our dog grooming needs.

Booking was a breeze via email, and as a new customer, they requested proof of vaccination upon check-in. Chloe, our groomer, was delightful and estimated a 3-4 hour wait based on my puppy's stress level. Upon pickup, they reported she did great, though not a fan of paw grooming. The added touch of vanilla cologne and a cute pink bandana was a nice surprise. For $85, we got a bath, trim, teeth brushing, nail grind, and anal gland expression. We used to take our dog to Fluffy Puppy, but I have called to make an appointment numerous times over the last week and each time, after the Fluffy Puppy intro, I get a "you have reached a voicemailbox that has not been set up yet" message.
