Josh at the Webster location is a horrible manager and put all blame for missing items of my 90 dollar order on door dash delivery. He was rude and did not take any responsibility for his lack of managing for the neglect of making sure items going into these orders were correct. I will not ever step Foot into or order for delivery at this company again. read more

Good food as always, usually eat at the SW Freeway location but happened to be in Webster yesterday. Would've been a solid 4 but today they get 3. Only complaint is whoever shucks the oysters has NO clue on doing it right. They're shucked and the oyster is left on the shallow half of the shell. The deeper cupped shell that holds all the good oyster liquor isn't used. This makes no sense, that's part of the goodness that makes eating half shell oysters so tasty. As always our waitress was on point and very helpful, drinks were delicious and got the afternoon off to a good start. read more

Great bar atmosphere where everyone knows each other. Try the blackened boudin. Out of this world.

This was my first time going. I went with my boyfriend, he was craving crawfish. Decent pricing, I think he got 5.99 for 35.00 bucks, he added shrimp and sausage. It was delicious! The place is very cool inside, decent pricing for Cajun food. I got the catfish with etouffee. I really tried not to compare my etouffee but I couldn't help it! Lol. It was very salty but it was overall good. Also I got red beans and rice. I would try something else next time! I would definitely go back. :) read more

I'm from New Orleans. And this is the best seafood I've had in this area. We ordered the pickles, fondue, oysters, catfish platter, tuna, and catfish and shrimp and not one thing was bad. It was amazing actually. Not only was the food great, but the atmosphere was perfect. Great prices too!! Also our server was was phenomenal!! He spit out the menu when he didn't have one on hand! We are so impressed and satisfied. We will definitely be back. You won't be disappointed. Also ask for Scott. He was such a good server. Everything came so fast! read more

I've avoided Floyd's since they opened for one reason only: seafood and my allergy. We received gift cards and i checked out the landlocked options, which they had several. My husband and i decided to come today (he loves all things seafood) and it has been a very pleasant experience. Our waiter, Andy N, truly cares about his customer and it shows. Unlike some places where when an allergy is brought up and the wait staff groans, our waiter was knowledgeable and went back to the kitchen to ask for my chicken to be kept separate. The fried pickles were delicious and in no shortage! They had a great dill flavor and the batter wasn't too heavy. My blackened chicken was flavorful and I'd order again in a heartbeat. The pork chop was tender and juicy and you get two good sized chops. While the food was delicious, Andy made the experience excellent. My 5 stars are given for the outstanding service on top of good food. read more

Our waitress was horrible!!!!!!! We left hungry and angry and so mad mad! She did not care at all!

Since the new manager started and hired his friend's girlfriend Tara to bartend, this location has gone downhill. If you sit at the bar, be prepared to wait 20 minutes for Tara to acknowledge you or take your order. Then when she finally does, watch her make your drinks as she will give you well alcohol even if you order topshelf or another brand. This is not the first time this has happened to me, nor my friends, but this is the last time it will. I ordered Tito's and all three times, she tried to give me another brand of vodka besides Tito's. This issue was addressed several times with just a laugh from her and the manager. I've been a loyal regular there for over a year and I cannot stand how the place is now being ran by the new manager. This place was so much better under the management of Clint and Mike. I refuse to go there now if I see Tara working at the bar. I guess it's time for me to find a new place to go for seafood and drinks, especially when I'm having lunch and dinner meetings. read more

It pains be to share such a negative experience for a restaurant I used to adore and had just recommended to a client of mine. It was the referral thought of good old Floyd's that made me plan a visit with my boys. Upon arriving, we noticed the crawfish platter display. The restaurant was steady, but no one appeared to be waiting. We proceeded to find a table (self seating is what I remembered from the past). We entered through the front entrance, but found a seat in the back. After sitting for a few minutes, a young man explained that we would have to be placed on a waiting list. I didn't see anyone waiting and asked how long was the wait. We were quoted 15-20 minutes unless we picked first available. He would then be able to seat us sooner. Before getting up, I asked about the seating policy. I remembered self seating. He explained that the policy changed. I confirmed by asking if guests enter from the back, they would have to walk to the front of the restaurant to request seating. He confirmed this as true. He himself mentioned that it was weird. At any rate, once getting to the front, a family that clearly walked in after us were the ones that would be seated at the one available table where we were seated. My boys respectfully requested to eat someplace else. I agreed. This was a weird experience. We all walked away feeling odd. There are no signs "wait to be seated" signage at either door. This is certainly necessary with this type of restaurant layout and if an attendant is not at both doors. I decided to leave this public note of my experience after calling, asking for a manger and staying on hold for 13 minutes after identifying myself as a customer (without anyone returning to the phone). It was my intention to share my feedback and offer this suggestion for future customers. Perhaps a call from a customer wasn't high on the priority list. At any rate, I would certainly hope that my clients who were referred here had a much better experience than we did. read more

Floyds Seafood - Webster - Hold time as the boys and I drive around thinking about a great place for a meal... - Cajun/Creole Near Me - Webster, Texas

Took an out of town friend there because she was feeling like some local seafood. She got what she was looking for. Had the boudain balls, grilled fish, and courtboullion. The fish was fresh and topped with some lump crab and lemon sauce that was pretty tasty. The courtboullion was amazing. Huge chunks of meat, savory base, and all sorts of awesome in my belly. read more

Overpriced food that doesn't have the Louisiana taste. I assume that people that give this place a high rating doesn't know authentic cajun food. The Gumbo did not meet my standards. Not a fan of their seafood dinners and will not be returning! read more

I was really excited about coming here after reading the reviews. It was a gorgeous day out and we wanted to eat crawfish somewhere outside. Outdoor seating is seat yourself. So we grabbed a few menus from the inside and went out and sat down at the only available table. The table was dirty and a waiter notice and assured us that he'd send someone out to clean the table. The chairs were not comfortable for eating. The were lounge type chairs, fit for kicking back and enjoying a beer I suppose. The tables were a little too high, so sitting at the table and trying to eat was not too comfortable. My boyfriend ordered raw oysters and the crab bisque. My son ordered a shrimp po-boy. ..and I ordered the red beans and rice and two pounds of crawfish. The waitress informed us that they had run out of crawfish but had some on order and it would be there and ready in about 15 minutes. ...I thought that was okay so I decided to stay with my order. She brought us drinks and realized our table still had not been cleaned so she went and got a rag and cleaned it herself. About 10 minutes later she brought out my red beans and rice. I thought it was okay (I actually think Popeyes does a better job). About 10 minutes later, here came our waitress with my crawfish. She didn't say anything about my guys' food, so I asked her. ...and she said it was coming. She also said I'm sorry, I can't control what the kitchen cooks first. ...which was so uncalled for. I finished all of my food and flagged the waitress down. I told her...Look, I'm sorry but you need to stop and check on the food for the guys. I'm completely done with my food and my boyfriend still hasn't even got his raw oysters. She apologized and one minute later, here she comes with their food. My boyfriend then had to wait to eat his oysters because she didn't bring crackers. ...which took another 5 minutes. So needless to say, the service was quite disappointing. I found out later that there was only one waitress for the patio. Weird, since the weather was nice. I'm surprised management didn't think more people would want to sit outside. Overall the waitress was pleasant. ...I understand she just had her hands way too full. The crawfish was huge but not too tasty (I'm not sure if that was due to the rush, since they ran out). My boyfriend said his bisque was delicious and my son said his po-boy was great (even though he asked for just the bun, the shrimp, cheese, bacon, and mustard and it was served with their special sauce and lettuce and tomatoes). The portions are huge and they seem to do a great job with fried seafood. I'll probably go back the next time I'm craving a fried seafood platter. I'll just get a table inside next time. :) read more

Cant get enough of this restaurant, very good food. Worked in Southeast Houston for five weeks and love this place wish it was in the Pacific Northwest. read more

Smoking still allowed inside? Really? If your ok with the smell food isn't bad.. But just remember the clientele smoking typically attracts when thinking about eating here.... read more

Low key atmosphere, good food and great service . We started with Onion Rings and they were sooo good ! Hand cut and dipped ! Grilled Shrimp & Asparagus we cooked perfectly ! So many people over cook shrimp but they got it spot on. read more

I used to love Floyd's, and my husband and I used to frequent Floyd's regularly, but every time I have gone the past few times, I have been disappointed. The service is great, but the food has just been okay and the atmosphere is not the same as it used to be. I'm not sure if their supplier has changed or what but it isn't the same. read more

Sat at the bar. Too late, I realized it was a smoking bar, which meant people to the left and right of me were smoking. I have nothing against allowing smoking in restaurants, but wish I'd realized before I sat down. Bar waitress was very sweet. She brought about half of what I asked for. Free things, like water and crackers, were forgotten even when I asked, but she had no trouble remembering items that went on the bill. A bit frustrating. No draft beer, no micr0-brews, and no local beers (like St Arnold's). The regulars seem happy with the big-brewery-watery beers. Gumbo was good, but could have been hotter. I'll try this again but will sit outside or not at the bar, and hope for some space from the smokers. read more

We've enjoyed Floyd's. Quality good tasting seafood that's a change from the commercialized establishment

The best fried pickles ever. The other fried food could use some seasoning. Everything tastes the same. This has never happened before but the last time visited my gumbo was scorched. read more

This was my first visit to Floyd's. The place was packed, which I considered a good omen and was expecting great food. Our server had over ten tables to himself and therefore service was very very slow. Not his fault, and totally forgivable in my book. I assumed they were understaffed for the day. We ordered a couple drinks and were enjoying ourselves, so no big deal. The food was unfortunately another story. My companion ordered crawfish and was happy with what she received. I ordered the seafood salad and was highly disappointed. The sparse seafood was served on limp iceburg and accompanied by rotten vegetables. No joke - ROTTEN. Not bruised, ROTTEN. My tomatoe had mold growing out of it, the onion was so soft it was jelly and smelled horrible. The cucumbers were so old they were transparent. We didn't see our server again for an hour, and though he was deeply apologetic and clearly saw what I saw on the plate, he charged us for the salad nonetheless, which by the way was $16. I must clearly note that even if this salad were pristine, it isn't - wasn't - and would never be worth $16. read more

This is a good place to eat if you are craving some fried seafood. The gumbo and etouffe is also good. However, I wouldn't suggest ordering any of the grilled fish... It's over-cooked and bland. Overall Floyd's is nothing to brag about. read more

I think I was born in the sea because I am a seafood lover or addict, lol but this places food was blah, blah, blah. It was one step up from the frozen food section at the grocery store. Nothing tasted fresh. I can easily image this food was sitting in the freeze and they thawed a big lump for today's patrons. The oysters, were just okay but the shrimp was yucky, like watery and ick. My husband had some fish that he like but everything else was a never repeat meal for me, one and done. read more

Tonight I was there for my first time . We got crawfish and man they were amazing . Our server was absolutely amazing even though he was super busy with all of the outside tables . I will definitely be back read more

I love this place and all the food. Never been disappointed. I recently visited Vegas to a wannabe Cajun restaurant and I had to get home and get that out of my head. They really know how to do Cajun and the staff is super awesome! read more

If you are in the mood for fired seafood, Floyds s the place. The selection of seafood is quite extensive and even includes alligator. I tried the alligator and it was quite tender. The oysters on a half shell were excellent...large and nice and juicy. The ambiance is much like a fish house so don't expect cloth napkins. read more

The wife and I split the Bub's Seafood platter (12 Shrimp 4 ways and 2 sides for 22.99). The 2 En Brochette's were over cooked, but all the others (Fried, Stuffed and Grilled) were perfect. My 8 year old had fried catfish and said it was awesome. read more

We read great reviews of this place on Yelp and decided to try it out. The food wasn't anything to rave about. We ordered the gumbo (2 different types) and weren't impressed. We also ordered the crab claw appetizers that were overcooked and flavorless... My son ordered the fried shrimp. The shrimp tasted like old oil. Eh... Not going again. read more

Went this Valentines Day and have to say:(...What a disappointment! The food is horrible and the place is filthy! Will not ever go back!

so there is no way for me to really confirm this but I'm 99% sure I got food poisoning from the oysters here. I'll still give it 2 stars since the waitress was really nice. read more

Visited Floyd's for the first time after Mardi Gras...best decision we could've made!! Everything we ordered was delicious (boudin balls, catfish platter, fried oysters, crab bisque, dirty rice, fried shrimp). We can't wait to make the trip back though we hope they will open a location in the Kingwood/Humble or Woodlands area. Aside from the food, the service was impeccable! Our server Eric was awesome and the management (Alex) kept things running smoothly. Definitely, Floyd's new fan . Oh, forgot to mention their Hurricane's were the best!!! read more

Drinks were okay but the bar was crowed. You can smoke here so I think it attracts a specific kind of crowd. The food was crap. Fried seafood that had no flavor! We will not be back. The Floyd's in pearland is MUCH better. We waited over an hour expecting much more...service was good. read more

I had the crab bisque. After adding salt, cayenne, and Louisiana hot sauce it almost tasted cajun. First taste tasted like crab and heavy cream, thats all. My biggest complaint is that literally every single bite had crab shell in it. I just lined my plate all the way around with crab shell as I ate. I did manage to eat it all (because its a small bowl of soup), but I have to say it was a challenge as I began to lose my appetite from all the shells. Seriously this soup shouldn't cost this much considering its probably made entirely of blue crab bodies that are very poorly cleaned. read more

They have a wide selection of cajun seafood and all are pretty good! We are not into fried stuff so we ordered everything grilled. Everything is really salty, but I guess it's supposed to be like that. My husband got the seafood platter and liked the variety of fish, oysters, shrimp, crab etc on it. I got the Floyd stuffed shrimps, they are stuffed with crab meat and all entrees come with one or two sides. We liked the sweet potato fries the most. Service was pretty good, our waitress is very friendly and fast! read more

This is a really good place. Sometimes the food is over salted but that's what you get with good ole Cajun food. We started with a couple appetizers, boudain balls (YUMM) and catfish fingers which were equally good.. My favorite here is the Crab bisque. It's so rich and fulfilling. Cocktails are strong and powerful. Front/bar area can get rowdy. If you have a family I would opt for the back of the restaurant. read more
