I came to this Floyd's location after my previous barber at the pearl street location moved out of town. At Floyd's baseline I got a skin fade from Tony and it was without a doubt the best hair cut I have ever received. If you need a skin fade, Tony is the barber for you. He achieves a level of attention to detail that I have seldom seen, and he is genuinely interested in getting to know his clients and establishing a relationship with them. Thank you Floyd's and Tony! read more

My usual hairstylist in Longmont is on extended leave due to surgery. I was recommended a stylist by the name of Jeannette in Boulder and was told that she was an expert at cutting curly hair. I wear my hair long and told her it had been four weeks since my last haircut, and told her to only takeoff a 1/2 inch. Well... she took off 1 1/2 inches. I now look like I'm ready to enlist in the Army and the back length looks disproportionate to the top length. It looks terrible and I'm very dissatisfied. read more

Christina L is so friendly & consistent & efficient! She does not push anything, just listens to what you ask for!

One of the worst cuts I've got lowk. Just gonna keep it real. I asked for scissor cut and to keep the flow. First thing she does is bust out the buzzer. I walk out with a military cut. It seems like the other reviews had the same problem read more

I walked in with a head of shaggy hair looking to get a completely new haircut, and was pretty nervous about it. I got Tina, and she was great: reassuring, friendly, and she did a great job! I'll be requesting her specifically next time. read more

Christina is the best there is. She has been cutting my hair for the last three years. Every time I walk out with a perfect consistent cut. I will soon be moving to a new place an hour away from this location but it will be worth the drive to get my hair cut by Christina. Thanks for all the great and hard work you've put in over the years! read more

I went to the same barber for 10 years when I lived in Chicago. I am a business professional and very particular about how my hair looks. Christina does a great job, I have been going to her for two years. read more

Christina L has been providing consistent quality haircuts at the Basemar Floyds since I started going there. Would recommend, thank you!

I don't make reviews solely because I understand people have off days and sometimes things are misheard but I've had too many bad haircuts from the same barber here. I won't name anyone but previous reviews do name them. Every time I tell her what I want and a photo for reference, and every time I look different. They skin faded when I asked for just a simple trim and blending, they forgot to cut an entire side of my head, and this isn't the first time. Will never be returning. Thank you to the other employees, I have nothing but positive things to say about them, but one bad cookie did ruin the entire jar for me. Sorry. read more

Been here twice now and Christina L. has helped me out both times, she's done a great job and is always super friendly!

Cool, hip place at first glance - BUT worst hair cut ever (by Christina). The only good news is that it will grow out. How could a stylist take someone from moppy California surfer cool (that needed a trim and clean up) to a short and extremely uneven and unbalanced Friar Tuck in under 20 minutes? Not only was the style bad but the technique and outcome looked like a total hack job. Literally left the shop and drove directly to BC Surf & Sport to buy 2 beanies to conceal the damage done. I wouldn't expect something like this from a Flowbee but that's what was delivered. Helen Keller school of cosmetology would have delivered better training and results. Hopefully she was just having a bad day and usually does OK but will definitely not be back. Lost all confidence in what looked like a cool shop. read more

The worst haircut I have ever gotten in my life. I asked for half an inch off the top and even showed a picture, and got what looks like a military buzz cut. the first thing the haircutter did, was run the razor right through the middle of my head like a big skid mark, so there was no going back. i felt my hair after the first run through with the razor, and i knew it was fucked. now my hair will look like shit for the next 2-3 months. I guess I got what I deserved going to a shitty chain barbershop. read more

Ariel did a terrific job of slowly removing the blue from my hair and returning it to a more natural color. I was very nervous about the process and she was kind and reassuring the whole time. I highly recommend her. read more

I've been to Floyd's recently when the store was empty 23 minutes before close and they wouldn't clean up the back of my head because they were closing in 23 minutes! 5 min before I understand, but there was plenty of time and they were just sitting doing nothing. They have turned into another garbage franchise haircut place, at least in Boulder. Stay away read more

Worst hair cut I've ever gotten. The barber did not seem like she wanted to be there. Asked for a skin fade and the barber did not even fade my hair and left it undone. The lines were not straight and my skin was cut from the razor in the process. You would think a BARBERSHOP would know how to do a fade haircut. I will not come back. read more

Christina gave me an amazing cut and experience. Her attention to detail is exceptional. And the massage was awesome.

When I walked in for a hair cut my hair was about 3" below my bra strap. It's curly so it isn't hard to cut. Straight line is all I asked for. I asked for 2" to be cut off just to get it back to healthy. After Naomi stated that I have "beautiful hair", she had me stand looking away from the mirror and proceeded to cut at least 6" off of my hair. When I told her I felt like it is getting to short, she kept cutting. When I asked her "why" her only response was "yeah." My daughter actually said "I look good with short hair." Seriously, save yourself and your hair. I went from long to just below shoulder length hair. read more

I had the best haircut today because of Christina. She did an excellent job. I usually go to different locations and I usually go to places like Great Clips, but from now on I'm getting my haircuts at this location. It's hard to find decent barbers who do good jobs but Christina gave me exactly the cut I wanted. read more

Worst haircut of my life. I was told I would be given something completely different. Longer. I specifically asked for NO PIXIE. What did the stylist do? She cut off all my hair into a very choppy unbecoming pixie. I had said I didn't want to chop all my hair. She showed me a completely different picture as recommendation. Then gave me her "favorite" hairstyle. I feel so ugly and gross. I am so embarrassed. I asked for a refund, something I never do. However, they wanted to try and fix my hair first. You kidding me? She took me from having shoulder length hair to a choppy pixie. No thank you. I ended up going somewhere else and paying more to have it...somewhat fixed. Still looks pretty bad. The girl who did my hair felt so bad for me. She said it was clear this woman who had "30+ years of experience" did not know what she was doing. I do not recommend this location at all. If you go, be prepared to be very clear and then just pray. read more

This was the worst haircut of my life! They were unprofessional and also awful at their jobs. Asked for a simple trim and came out with a legit bowl on my head. I truly believe that my autistic sister did a better job cutter my hair than they did. I also was there for about 10 minutes and was charged 40$ pre-tip because I had a lot of quotes "volume in my hair" IDK what that even means. I would have asked them to fix it but I do not want them touching my hair anymore. I would like to disclaim that I will never return and I advise anyone to never attend. read more

Amazing job by the staff and total professionalism from them all. Love the conversations from the stylists. And the extra attention to detail is a plus!!! read more

Although we arrived literally only 3 minutes late, our stylist had started a new client cut and we had to wait 25 minutes. My appointment was after my partners so that meant my time would be cut short which pissed me off cuz I wanted a complicated style but the salon would be closing soon. My partner and I were the only 2 customers in the whole shop, besides the guy who took our appointment. When I asked the "girl" at the front desk how much longer it would be she replied in an annoyed voice that she'd go and check. She never came back to give us an answer even though we were basically sitting 3 feet in front of her. Then when the other stylist had her client show up she mentioned in a complaining way how he had to wear a mask by saying "cuz we're in BOULDER now". I live in Boulder -so I guess I'm sorry to bother you with my snooty, punctual business expectations- I mean I am paying for this shitty treatment, right? read more
