Great haircut. Nice guys. Talked fly fishing the whole time. I'm ambivalent about sharing this, because I was able to get a same day appointment. read more

I asked for not even an inch off so tell me why over an inch got taken, like do we not understand that hair is inherently longest when wet? Why would we take that much?? And also I asked for a low taper, mid cut the barber said it's been years since he had done one. Okay well why did you agree to cut my hair if you clearly are out of practice and then yes the taper was messed up and my hair was uneven in the front and on the sides and in the back. read more

Went with my boyfriend to a scheduled appointment and was told the reference photo was a "substandard haircut", and we would have to wait an hour and we would have to pay extra. Ultimately our barber did not use the full 40 minutes and the finished product looked nothing like the reference photo. Don't be pressured into paying for more than you should. read more

Popped in for a touch up on my bangs. The folks were welcoming as hell and did great work!!! Good energy and music and my bangs look sweet

$45 haircut. More than lawyers make in 5 minutes. Good location. Look on Craigslist for a barber working at home. read more

Went in for a slight trim (exactly what I told my barber, Lucas) and left with inches taken off my hair. Very annoying to expect a small amount taken off and leave with a new hairstyle. Will not be returning read more

such a scam for awful service and rude workers. low quality for a high price. Do not come here

Matt the owner is the best. Truly cares about his customers. This place is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone.

Okay so first of all it's not named this anymore. Some dumbass sued them. So now it's called Rollins. But coolest place to get your hair cut. I don't recommend this place if you don't like cool places or cool people. Also Bryn is the shit. Made my head look the least like a boob ever. read more

One of the worst haircuts I've gotten service was bad too I showed up 5 minutes early and it seemed like they didn't even have a person to cut my hair. I ended up waiting 20 minutes. read more

Great barber shop! Ben and Ryan are amazing and I love the atmosphere in the place. All of the barbers seem to be good friends and work well together, and they all do an amazing job to make sure they give me the cut I want, and do it well. read more

The barbers here are friendly and competent. I have been happy with every haircut I have gotten there so far. The ambience is cool and fun with good music, a dog or two, and interesting books to flip through while you wait. read more

They are like face artists. First off they opened early to get some of us in for a wedding. Morgan took so much time with my beard at points trimming one straggler hair at a time. Really great vibe. Exceptionally nice people and most importantly the work is exceptional! read more

I was late to an appointment because Boulder Police Department was harassing me and profiling me and I explained that as I called letting him know I was late and the reason why and as soon as I arrive one of the co-managers proceeded to tell me that yeah, sorry he couldn't see me because I was late after I had talked to the barber that was cutting my hair and they had no problem that I would be coming in seven minutes late read more

If you're not getting your haircut here you're fucking up. It's reasonably priced, has an amazing atmosphere, and you'll always leave happy with the cut and service. I've been going here since they opened and never had a bad experience with them. I highly recommend Ben or Carlee. Love this place and I hope they open more amazing shops in Boulder. read more

Josh Logan gave me an excellent trim of my full beard. The best I've ever had. It's always anxiety provoking trusting another human with your beard, but Josh did not disappoint. read more

Bad experience got my money back on a bad haircut. Usually have good experiences but had one terrible one, make sure you pick a good barber

Long story short: Barbers should always make the effort to communicate with you and understand how you want your hair cut. Doesn't matter how skilled they are otherwise. That is just basic listening and asking a few questions but it is the most important part. My barber at this place failed miserably on this front and gave me an incredibly terrible haircut as a result. Longer version: I got my hair cut here for the first time today. While the barber was skilled with clippers and scissors they did not listen at all or care about how I told them I wanted my hair. This unfortunately led to the 2nd worst haircut of my life. We chatted for a bit about how I wanted my hair and how it's grown out but I wanted to keep it long. The barber wasn't giving me too much care or asking many questions but I explained things and it seemed like we were on the same page. Boy was I wrong! 15 seconds in my hair was buzzed much shorter on the sides. Taking off around 3-4inches. Definitely not what I wanted. Or what we had discussed. Hair came out ok but still subpar for how I like my haircut when it is short. It's down right terrible considering what I wanted and communicated. Caveat: It probably depends on which barber you get like anywhere. Other thoughts: Place looks nice, decor is good even if it's trying a little too hard to be "core." A little crowded (all chairs were full in a small place) given the pandemic but everyone followed mask protocol and I understand these places need to be full to make money. My barber barely spoke to me during the haircut and I didn't see to many other good conversations going on. Saw lots of good looking fades and the other barbers may be better at caring about their customers but I won't be going back to find out. read more

I've only ever gotten my hair cut at a salon, so this was my first barbershop experience-- and I loved it! Great vibe, super nice people working there, and they did an excellent job cutting my very long hair. read more

Can't recommend this shop enough! From beginning to end, my first experience with Truman Barber Co. was awesome. Anthony, the shop owner, is extremely friendly, great to talk to, and extremely knowledgeable and skillful with a blade. Next time you're in Boulder, check these guys out. You won't regret it. read more

I've lived in town for five years, and is the best barbershop in Boulder. Shout out to Danni for being an attentive, patient and highly skilled barber! read more

Great barber. One of the best places in Boulder no doubt. The attention to detail and overall esthetic is awesome. The barbers here are super skilled. The music played in the barber shop is also a lot of fun. If you have facial hair this is definitely the best place I've found for beard trims, razor line-ups, and products. My experiences here have been great and so far I have no complaints at all! Great cuts! read more

Rollins Barbershop - Barbers Near Me - Boulder, Colorado

Morgan is outstanding! We came to Boulder twice to visit our son and my husband was in need of a haircut. We walked into Rollins and Morgan was available for the trim. She was meticulous and gave him one of the greatest cuts he's ever had! Our second visit here we were thankful that he got another appt with her, and again another great cut. Honestly the Best! read more

Going to a barber shop as a woman with short hair is often difficult for me, because I find that sometimes I'm not met with the same service as men looking for a haircut. I'm so happy to say this wasn't true at Truman Barber- as soon as I walked in someone greeted me and asked for my name, and once I was checked in and waiting for my appointment another person also went out of their way to make sure I had been helped. Melanie is an amazingly detail-oriented and attentive barber, and gave me one of the best cuts I've had in months. When I mentioned that I was moving across the country in a few months, she even connected me with a barber in the city I'm moving to that does similar work to hers. I've never been so pleased to pay $30 for a haircut. Fellow queer folks in Boulder looking for a fresh cut- this is the place to go! read more

Carlee did an awesome job and was super kind. The shop had rad aesthetic, good vibes, and good music playing.

Just had a haircut and beard trim with Cole, This dude is awesome, I have a receding hair line and a wild wavy beard and he killed it first time. He's also super chill and easy to communicate with. I'll definitely be going back and you should try him out. read more

They said they have a 15 minute window after the appointment is scheduled before they cancel your appointment and don't give your money back. I arrived within that window, and my barber came out from the back after that window had closed and told me they can't cut my hair because it was passed that window. Do not give this barbershop your money. They waste your time and steal your money. read more

Made an account just for this post. I booked my first ever appointment for this barber shop at 6:00PM after work. I was running a few minutes late so I gave them a call that I would be about 3-5 m minutes late. No answer. So I park as quickly as I can, running to the barber shop 5 minutes late they cancel my appointment and they said the barber had already left. I got charged the full amount. Although I was late, it was clear to me they tried to make this happen much sooner to get paid and leave early. read more

Great barber conveniently located on pearl street. A little steep but well worth it. They offer some of the best quality haircuts I've seen, with super friendly staff and high quality products (and an awesome mural that I hear they updated regularly). I highly recommend seeing Adam. read more

I got the basic, but the result felt more lazy than basic unfortunately. Really uneven in ways that were disappointing. I had to do a lot of corrections to fix the asymmetries after I got home. read more

Recently moved to the area and needed a place to get my mop of a head cleaned up before a wedding and I found Rollins and decided to give it a shot. Phoebe was my stylist she did a fantastic job and gave me some great suggestions and got me taken care of. Place has good vibes, great people and a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back next time thanks again! read more

The haircut itself was fine but the service was where they lost their points. Had an apathetic barber who didn't seem very enthusiastic. When it came time to spin the chair and present myself in the mirror he seemed to mess the haircut up by ruffling and making it look dorky and then looked over to see if the barber next to us saw this. Weird. read more

I went into this haircut with very high expectations. I left very disappointed. The man who cut my hair was tried to tell me what I wanted and refused to listen to my preferences. He hardly cut any of my hair, he simply put a ton of product in it and pushed my hair against my head. I looked like I was wearing a helmet when I left the shop. My fiance laughed hysterically when she saw the result of this haircut. Thank god she agreed to marry me before this haircut. read more

I've been coming here since it opened. Anthony, Justin, Ben, and new favorite barber- Adam have never failed to deliver. This ain't your neighborhood Great Clips. Intimidated by their professionalism, and dedication to the craft? These guys aren't pretentious, they just want you walking out with a good cut. Take a seat at one of their chairs... You wont leave upset. read more

Visited them shortly after COVID19 restrictions allowed them to open. They observed all the recommended precautions and were strict about their adherence; such as requiring you to use hand sanitizer before entering the building and to wear a mask (as did all their staff). They were innovative with working around the mask without compromising its effectiveness, so much as that the cut I got was truly perfect and has grown out really well. read more

Hands down the best spot in Boulder to get you looking right. I personally use Anthony for my cuts and he is the man. I never looked forward to the experience of getting a haircut until I found Rollins. read more
