She helped me to rent a mat for free because it was my first visit. Then, she informed me about other classes at Pure, as well as a tour of the facility. The free mat was perfect for what I needed. There is an eyelet on the top left side of the mat, and that is where you lay the mat down in the room. I asked if the spots were reserved ahead of time because they do that at other studios, but there is not need to reserve a numbered spot - it just helps with mat placement and ensuring that people have enough room to move uniformly. I love that! I hate a crowded hot yoga room. The studio is surprisingly cleaner than most hot studios. There is a hydration station to refill your water bottle, which is nice because you aren't forced to purchase water. The restroom is really clean. I haven't seen gym showers that clean even at Equinox in California which I thought that the 3 SF Bay Area locations had nice enough showers. You are limited to a 3 minute shower here at Pure, but that's fine for a quick rinse and it's great when you have to share and are waiting for another person to finish, but they are taking forever to finish. The class itself was a nice succinct Bikram yoga class with the same 26 postures in 60 minutes instead of 90. Beth was a wonderful instructor who gave me a little trinket after my first class. I'm very excited to visit again on the traveler's pass!

Strengthening hips. Proper back posture. Etc. and it's not all old people. People of all ages. And a few men, and even pregnant ladies T times. My friends and family constantly hear. "Dixie says...." Can't say enough about how it's improved my physical and mental health. Dixie says,"remember the 3 Bs-- brain. Breath. Body." Celebrating my 70th in stallitos, and flamingo balance--after 2 martinis! First of all she had her last child in her forties and I too am having babies in my forties. I can only dream and hope that when my youngest is 16 that my body looks half as good as hers. However, it goes beyond looks it is good health that Dixie exudes! She has spent years learning and growing her craft which she pours into you during your session. The price she charges is a steal for the tools she gives you. My daughter's posture(swimmer) was noticeably better after one session. I don't stretch enough and having someone tell me to stretch (through video) was great. I sweated a lot and it's good to have water closeby. We saw some other people do hot yoga, hot cycle, and hot row. THE FINAL BAMBOO: To be honest, I quite liked this concept. I believe member pricing for one club is around $60 while the all hotworx locations is around $80. Very nice if you're looking for a sweat with a variety of classes.

DONT GO!!! Terrible customer service. I had signed up for a class last week with my sister at 10…read moream. I had to get a babysitter for my kids, since it's summer. When we got there, they informed us that the person doing the class was not there yet. A few minutes later they told us they were not showing up and they rescheduled us with barely an apology. We were annoyed but accepted it and rescheduled. Today, I had to get a babysitter sitter again to make the class. I live in Leander and was getting all the red lights. I tried to call them at 9.40. No answer or call back. My sister got there before and told them I was running late. I pulled in at 10.06 am. They had told my sister they would open the door for me. But after standing outside for over 5, I realized they were not going to let me in. I also felt disrespected of my time and unwelcome. I don't leave bad reviews and I work in customer service. I would never treat someone the way I was treated. I also have not gotten a refund. My response- I understand policies. But I was cancelled last week upon arrival because the instuctor did not show up. That's not be acknowledged. I tried to call and communicate. It was insinuated to my sister that the door would be opened so I stood outside for over 5 after arrival. I have grace last week, and expect the same in return. And that was not shown. I drive about 30 mins. each way, but they are so worth it. The space is cozy, with two main studios, two nice restrooms stocked with hygiene supplies (I just think this is a nice touch), and a welcome area with cubbies for your shoes that smells like incense, and where you are always warmly welcomed. Sometimes instructors invite you to choose an intention card. The studios have adjustable lighting and overhead fans, and there are plenty of props available (you can bring your own mat or rent one). There is an interesting plumbing system in the building where pipes sometimes make burbling water noises. Rather than being a distraction, I find this actually oddly comforting -- sounds like gushes of rainwater or something. My favorite classes so far are Mindful Movement & Meditation, which involves 30 minutes of gentle stretch and 30 mins of meditation (this formula is my personal idea of heaven!), and there's also a Nervous System Reset taught by Sam Pullen, which must be experienced to be understood. It's an interesting somatic-style healing experience that will leave you wrung out but peaceful. Every instructor here has unique gifts and something to offer you, if you show up with an open heart and mind. The only tiny detractors for me: parking can be an issue (you battle for space with ACC in the attached garage--though students are not supposed to park there, they do, anyway), and it can be difficult to navigate the My Vinyasa Practice website to find the class schedule and sign up for classes -- I get the sense the studio heavily leans towards teacher training, and markets those classes primarily.
