Similar to others-- it is impossible to cancel your membership. I left voicemails, I used their chatbot... they just keep charging you. No one answers the phone and you can't cancel in your account. I finally had to deny the charge on my credit card to make it stop. Yoga was great, just be sure you want a lifelong membership before you sign up. read more

Beware: I canceled my membership after the 30-day trial, yet Flow Yoga continued charging me monthly. I had no idea I was being billed because they don't send payment confirmations. I also did not receive a cancellation confirmation even though I'm certain I completed the process after the trial ended. After discovering the charges, I alerted two friends who joined at the same time -- and they experienced the same issue! After scrolling to the 1 star reviews, I noticed a pattern. Definitely not the Best environment but certainly not the worst. Ceiling tiles are gross, and yes you'll be looking at them in your sessions lol the blankets they have there I do not think are cleaned and the instructors (depending on who you go with) are not looking out for the collective in my opinion. Wow!! My hubby and I went to a 75-minute yoga class and really enjoyed it. It was grounding and centering. It was one of the best ways to start off our day while we were visiting Austin. The instructor made her way to each practitioner and listened to what our physical needs were. She was a wonderful instructor that guided each of us with appropriate modifications too. I had my first session with Katelyn tonight and will easily return! Flow Yoga is located right next to Central Market, which is perfect for me to grab lunch AND get a good workout in. As soon as you step into the studio, you feel welcomed. Bright open spaces, beautiful merch and incense adorn the room. You can feel the positive vibes flowing through. In addition, they have multiple spaces for different classes. What I really enjoyed was how spacious the classes are. At a studio located near the area, there literally isn't enough space as everything is crammed into one area (reception, cubbies, class, people). I end up getting turned off and it's difficult to meditate when you smell all sorts of odors. However, I love that you can literally stretch out and not worry about hitting your fellow yogis. Lastly, they also serve delicious, hot herbal tea, perfect for after your sessions. read more

I am so so so grateful for this space. I went to a soundbath meditation and had the courage to show up for cacao and cards. Overall, the community is very mature and loving. Amazing venue for kundalini. It's got a warmth and comfortable vibe that easily invites you in. No frills, no tricks. Beautiful lounge, easy check-in, plenty of parking, punctual start times, and amazing instructors. Oh this space is so special. There are many things to say. First, if you have any amount of chronic pain, please stop everything and try JJ's Mobility class. I'm an avid road cyclist and hiker, with yoga in between. A year and half ago I had a C-Section and began throwing my back out every few months thereafter. I was referred to a PT, a pelvic floor therapist and a chiropractor. All three kept me from getting bed-ridden, but the pain persisted. I was beginning to wonder if I would just be in low-key pain the rest of my life. Then I stumbled into JJ's class. It is so so good. His background in kinesiology is an excellent addition to the studio, he's a fantastic teacher, and gives great instruction on mobility at home. After one class my pain was capital G, GONE. It was like magic. I try to go every week. I am cycling, hiking with my son on my back... all pain free. I feel like I got my life back. I've watched his classes go from a handful to wall-to-wall people in a few months. It's worth it! That said, every single instructor in this space is special. I really enjoy Tej and Ray's Full Moon Circles, as well as her weekend Hatha. I leave her classes thinking about myself in fresh new ways every time. Her style of weaving movement with intention setting is powerful. Lastly, I am heart-warmed that this studio is so diverse. There are all ages, body types, races etc. It feels like a real community, and I plan on going here forever. read more

Flow Yoga is amazing! I have a short term stay in Austin and decided to get a month pass at Flow and I am so glad I did it. I am a type A person that needs results and have always used Yoga based on "results". I've practiced daily for years to help with back and sciatica issues. But I love when I get a sweat going as I feel like I am getting some "work" done. Well, at Flow I also found Kundalini Yoga, which I have never seen before at other studios. Kundalini has helped me immensely with anxiety disorders, trauma and pain. I can't explain what the practice has done for me. Every time I am there the energy of the studio and teachers move me. The environment and teachers at Flow are so gifted and they make you feel at ease. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone in Austin! I will miss Flow when I leave. I'm pretty new to Yoga and had a perceived notion of yoga studios but this studio has superseded all my concepts! This is not your typical yoga fitness studio! I had no idea there were so many different types of yoga! I have not taken one class I did not absolutely enjoy and was so amazed with the comfortableness and ease! The staff and instructors are by far the nicest people I have ever met! They have events almost every weekend to really bring in a sense of community and there is something for everyone! Love, love, LOVE this place. The studio itself is spacious and welcoming, and there is an inviting lounge where you can chill with a bevvy before/after class. The instructors are all amazing and have their own unique style. There are a variety of classes to choose from based on intensity. But the best part? It doesn't feel like a crazy workout cult!! Each class has people of every size and shape, and nobody is trying to sell you anything. I love Flow Yoga. Yoga Yoga was my previous home, so I was here for the transition. It felt weird for a short while, but soon after it felt pretty much exactly the same: a gentle, spacious, welcoming environment with the most diverse classes at times that work for my schedule, plus great workshops and special events, and in my opinion the best Kundalini classes in town. I mostly take classes with Tej Arvind and Amrit Dev, but I switch it up when I can. I love Ashley Amrita and her Cosmic Chill class (she holds the most beautiful space), Kelly B. has a great big-hearted Vinyasa class that makes me feel really strong. Guru Karam, Mehtab and Siri Bahadur, who have trained other Kundalini yoga teachers for over 20 years, also teach classes and workshops at Flow. Most everyone has their own kind of sound healing (gongs, bowls, chimes, etc.). While I still make it a point to try new studios when I'm in other parts of town, Flow Yoga is still my favorite. I'm now in their Kundalini teacher training and it's been an incredible journey so far. read more

Flow yoga is the best yoga studio in Austin definitely, I started taking kundalini classes here because they have the best teachers in Town , my first time in this studio was a gong concert for the full moon in January and since then I really liked and feel very connected with this studio and started taking kundalini classes here, the staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome and they keep the studio very clean and safe specially in this time . I was new to yoga when I decided to look into the classes at Flow Yoga Westgate. They have a very good introductory program wherein you pay a modest fee of 49 dollars (I believe) and can attend unlimited classes for two weeks. I took advantage of this and tried out a few classes and really liked Tej Arvind as an instructor, plus her classes were scheduled at times that worked well with my work schedule. She is a great instructor who gives very clear instructions and explanations. I love that she plays a gong at the end of every class and takes time at the beginning to personally greet every practitioner. The added plus is her infectious laugh and sense of humor. She calls her practice more "woo woo" than some but I welcome her "woo woo" elements. I highly recommend her classes. I always feel renewed after her sessions. Check our Flow Yoga. Westgate is my go-to yoga studio and I love it here. Serene atmosphere. Friendly front desk people and awesome teachers. Had been coming for many years when it was Yoga Yoga. Some of my favorite teachers still there, like Sarah S, Tej Arvind, and adding new ones like Kelli and Jessica. Classes are currently small but enjoying the quieter space and personal greeting at the front desk. Of course now all streamed at home due to virus. This is working well and getting to try out new teachers; even from Cedar Park and north studios. Hope they will keep this feature when things go back to normal. I get to learn and grow in classes with the most influential kundalini teachers from my past and from new teachers and different styles of yoga. We've been enjoying the streaming yoga classes! Adam DiMarco and Tej Arvind give wonderful instructions which are easy to follow even at home with suboptimal visuals on our gizmos. (A couple of the other instructors, not so much.) There is a nice mix of yoga styles and times of day. Registering for the classes online is pretty easy. Sometimes there are technical glitches or lesser sound quality. I would opt for omitting any music soundtrack. read more

Flow Yoga is a spectacular yoga studio. I, too, went through the transition from Yoga Yoga to Flow. I have been to a couple of the locations but Westgate is my go to. The energy is great, the teachers are fantastic, and they are continuing their commitment to the pracice with ease during this difficult time. I've been attending Flow Yoga for several months, since they expanded into the Anderson Rd. location. The studios are run by a friendly and helpful staff. The teachers are varied in style and approach and given the number of classes, it's easy to find ones to match your interest. I particularly like that they offer classes that are harder to find in other Austin studios, particularly in yin, Kundalini, and a variety of hatha levels and flows. Finally, Flow Yoga has been great during the pandemic, offering a full suite of video classes daily, plus an on-demand library for members. It has been so welcome in a challenging time. read more
