Sound bath night - A variety of singing bowls, including metallic and glass types, are arranged on a wooden floor in front of a mural featuring geometric, mosque-like architectural patterns in blue, orange, and white. Some bowls are accompanied by mallets and other percussion instruments. The setting appears to be an indoor space used for sound therapy, yoga, or meditation classes, with a person partially visible on the right side of the image.

Updating my review: This used to be a very cool studio with sound bath and a warm atmosphere. However I dont love the encouragement of bullying on social media. Some teachers are really nasty and quick to attack people trying giving genuine feedback. Im going to chuck it up to a one off. But not into a snobby community and marketing Luckily the owners are lovely and responded.

Every yogi has a story and every yoga has lived several lives. I had the pleasure of attending Allie. B's vinyasa class today and it was light, fun, and flowy. I'd highly recommend taking a class here. I thoroughly enjoyed this class and hope you do too!

I visited Austin for a few days and tried this studio out the first morning I was there. Liked it so much that I came every morning of my trip! Lovely studio, calm and uplifting vibe, and great teachers. They also provide mats at no cost, which was great since I didn't travel with mine. I will definitely be back here the next time I'm in Austin!

I loved Practice Yoga Austin! I found it because I was staying nearby. I had never been to this studio, but I found super welcome. Classes are by donation. Recommended donation is currently between $10-$15. Mat and towel rental was available. I attended an all level vinyasa class. It was fast paced and plenty of modifications were given. Our teacher Lee was encouraging and provided great instructions. The space is just great. I felt totally comfortable there. Many different people and levels of yoga practice. There was even a few guys (I usually don't see very many men practicing in the Midwest!). Go to this studio!

Aside from the main yoga sculpt classes there's a plethora of additional options for all levels. The studio itself is well managed, parking available in the garage directly behind the studio. Towels and mats are available for rent and they have water refill stations in the hall with mens and womens locker rooms - both of which were super clean and spacious! I asked the lady at the desk (Yael) if there was anywhere else I could park (this was at 10:30 the start time because I had never run into this parking issue before I am usually very punctual). She was very nice and told me to do street parking or park at Whole Foods (though it's a bit of a walk). She told us it would be okay if we were a bit late to class. We park at Whole Foods and we are then locked out of the studio. Yael reluctantly let us back in telling us to "not let it happen again" and that being this late was unacceptable. We then left the class completely since we didn't want to be in a space where we were obviously unwelcome.

Also, the members take care of this place, wiping down equipment, they don't use harsh chemicals either, it's essential oils so the place has a light hint of pine in the air. Def a fan of this place; the staff, and the value.

As Yelper Hannah G perfectly put it, "With how saturated the yoga market is, it was hard for me to find a place that I connected with". For me, that place has turned out to be Sukha Yoga. Sure, Mark (co-founder) has no idea who I am--I've only taken his class once--but that single experience left a lasting impression. I attended his Saturday Bhakti Service: Flow, Meditation, and Sound, an 80 min class that collaborates an intentional vinyasa flow practice with mindfulness. For "busy" folks who struggle to slow down or are close-minded, this class (and maybe even this style of practice) might not be for you. As Mark's fists say, he certainly is a "GURU." He guides his class with intention and power, while also subtly weaving in his musical talents, playing several instruments and even singing, in a way that feels genuine and somehow not cringe. The class is structured, yet somehow freeing. Mark allows you to set your own pace during sun salutations, which feels like pure magic. The experience made me feel grounded and safe. I could have cried with how deeply content my soul felt. BONUS: If you love dogs, you'll probably find Mark's extremely well behaved mini doodle, Mai, practicing her down dog. If you don't, there's a door... NOTE: For first timers, it's located next door to Austin Beer Garden Brewing Co--easy to miss if you're not looking for it.
