Gong bath set up
Sarah A.

I had a very cool experience at Black Swan! I went to one of their heated yoga classes which was a lot of fun. Also went to one of their monthly gong bath events which was especially stellar. It was like nothing I'd ever done before. There was a bit of yoga involved mainly in the beginning and a little at the end. But most of the class was focused on relaxing, breathing, and soaking in the various sounds. The instructor walked around the classroom with different sounds at certain points to heighten the experience. I'd definitely recommend going to one of their sound bath events! Outside of their events, their yoga classes are available as passes or you can drop into a class via a donation (you decide how much you want to donate but the suggested donation is $10).

Even my dog got hooked on Black

Ask the Community - Black Swan Yoga

How much do people usually donate for classes? It'll my first time back to yoga after a few years, and I've seen a wild variety of prices for individual classes around town. I just dont want to under (or over) pay. Thank you.

They ask for a $10-20 donation!

Aside from the main yoga sculpt classes there's a plethora of additional options for all levels. The studio itself is well managed, parking available in the garage directly behind the studio. Towels and mats are available for rent and they have water refill stations in the hall with mens and womens locker rooms - both of which were super clean and spacious! I asked the lady at the desk (Yael) if there was anywhere else I could park (this was at 10:30 the start time because I had never run into this parking issue before I am usually very punctual). She was very nice and told me to do street parking or park at Whole Foods (though it's a bit of a walk). She told us it would be okay if we were a bit late to class. We park at Whole Foods and we are then locked out of the studio. Yael reluctantly let us back in telling us to "not let it happen again" and that being this late was unacceptable. We then left the class completely since we didn't want to be in a space where we were obviously unwelcome.
